"Why don't you tell him that the Jedi who saved his life is asking for him?" She asked with a hint of irritation in her voice. She had spent all day scouring the government district looking for any wealthy politician that would listen. If she was a wealthy donor herself she might have gotten some attention. But being a member of a monastic order didn't demand the level of respect it used to it seemed. She had hoped the Chandrilan senator she helped rescue from assassins back during her Guardian days would be willing to give something back. But judging from the receptionist's smug grin she was wrong.
"I'm sorry Master, but he's currently indisposed. Would you like to leave a message for him?" Izel took her hands of the desk, standing up straight again as she backed down.
"Just tell him Izel Thral was here. And she would appreciate it if he remembered his debts." The Vratix said a bit more wearily before turning and exiting the building. As soon as she stepped outside, the Jedi released a long, defeated sigh. It seemed fundraising was a much more difficult challenge then fighting criminals or Sith lords. All her efforts felt like simply banging her head against a wall. She desperately wanted to help contribute to Knight Zathria's Mission of Mercy, but this sort of work was outside her wheelhouse. The Jedi made her way to a shaded area and sat down on a bench, clicking her mandibles as she fell into deep thought. If she was going to succeed here she'd need to get more creative...
