Izel leaned forward as Nara placed the datapad on the table, watching the numbers scroll by and listening to what her friend was saying. She wasn't quite following everything, but it seemed like they had a good lead. It appeared her little performance had paid off after all. When Nara sat back and explained where Pieslice was and voiced her respect for their skill Izel looked at her, antennae twitching curiously.

"So... We have them?" She asked, a bit lost. It sounded like they were in one of the apartments on the lower levels. It would have been better to know exactly which one, but this would be a good start. Of course, now that Izel's name had been plastered all over the holonet it might be a little more difficult for a Vratix Jedi to conceal herself while tracking the crafty slicer.

"Pretty much! We head down to this level, check out the buildings closest to this CorSec point and we should be fine." Nara was already standing from the table, packing up her stuff. Grabbing the fruity drink and downing what was left of it quickly.

It was not the most dignified sight.

"I'm telling you, Pieslice is probably just some nerd in their bedroom, hunched over some equipment. It'll be easy."

---

It was not easy.

The apartment building on level 1211 looked rundown. It was the one closest to the access point and by the looks of it... well, nobody sane would choose to live there. Graffiti, trash and dirt just oozed off the side of the walls. The streets were busy around them, various denizens of Coruscant's lower levels going about their business in very, very suspicious ways.

How did they know it was the right one? Well, the three thugs stood outside seemed like good evidence. Looking around, all shifty, carrying some actual blaster rifles. Occasionally, one of them would slip inside the doorway for a few seconds, talking to someone. How many others were in there?

"Maybe they're mercs?"
Nara suggested, peering at them from round a distant corner. "How do you wanna play it? We could try finding a back entrance? Split up?" She looked over at the front again before talking to Izel. "I think you might be a tiny bit conspicuous now. Sorry."

She wasn't sorry really, but it'd have to do.

"I just don't want them to start trashing their computers if they think they're getting arrested."

The news was good, it seemed Nara had a heading for them. But as she stood up and quickly downed her drink so they could leave Izel looked just the slightest bit disappointed. "But... My drink..." This wasn't exactly what she had expected when Nara made the offer. It was good they were making progress, but she had still hoped for a few minutes respite. She sighed and drank a little more, not chugging it down as Nara had hers. She ended up leaving her glass half-full on the table as they departed.

Much as expected their search led them to one of the seedier levels of Coruscant, everything run-down and vandalized. The perfect den for a criminal. Izel might have said it was just like Nar Shaddaa, but she didn't want to offend her friend. It seemed Pieslice wasn't as good at being inconspicuous as they thought, because they had three bodyguards standing outside their door. Most likely it was a response to the rumors the Jedi had started. Both Izel and Nara peeked around a corner to get a glimpse of them, the Vratix's head just above the human's. As her friend started to talk strategy Izel stepped back into the hall, crossing her arms and clicking her mandibles as she considered. Nara had a point. The two of them could easily overpower the guards there, but a frontal assault would alert Pieslice, giving them time to destroy evidence.

"What about the apartment's window?" She asked in response to Nara's suggestion of finding a back entrance. "I can get us up, and they certainly won't expect an attack to come from there." They were several floors up after all. Not that it would prove any difficulty for an insectoid.

"That.... is a fantastic idea, Izel Thral," Nara whispered, beaming at her friend. She'd never have thought of the window... though she didn't quite have the same skills at scaling walls than Izel did. "If we can find a window that's big enough for... oh. Oh you meant climb up from the bottom, right?" she said, suddenly feeling quite stupid.

I'm gonna stick to laying computer hacking traps for idiots. This level of subterfuge is clearly beyond me lately.

On the (presumed) way down, Nara looked at her friend. "So... Pieslice. What's the bets on who they are? Shut-in human nerd? Pantoran teenage girl? Preef Callo's secret niece?" she suggested, all running through her mind as possible options. Really, it could've been anyone in there, but Nara was pretty sure it'd be some sleazy Twi'lek dude hunched over a computer. It just fit in her mind.

"How will this like... work? Do I have to climb on you?" Nara asked, looking at her friend's body. "Uh... I know I'm built like a stick but you sure you're okay with that?" She didn't want to admit it, but the thought of getting pulled up several stories of Coruscanti slum building while clutching onto a powerful Vratix was pushing her 'scared shitless' buttons pretty hard.

Izel was glad Nara agreed with the plan. To her it seemed the easiest way to avoid detection. When planning humanoids typically only thought about ways to stop other humanoids, it's what gave her something of an advantage. As they made their way back down to the bottom of the apartment complex Nara began to speculate what their bounty might look like, drawing an amused chitter from the Vratix.

"With our luck? I'm going to say they're a Besalisk." She replied. "And we're getting thrown right back out that window the second we climb in." Izel didn't really care all that much what Pieslice was. Although given their moniker she figured they were most likely either one of the larger aliens... Or one that liked to eat a lot.

As they stepped back out into the dingy street Izel turned and craned her neck back to look up above them. Pieslice's apartment was on the eighth floor. A good ways up, but not too far. Although from Nara's words it sounded like the human wasn't too eager to make the climb regardless. Izel looked down at her, antennae twitching slightly. Sensing an opportunity for revenge after that stunt she was made to pull at the station she crossed her arms and leaned forward, her voice taking on a sly tone. "Oh I don't mind at all." She said. "You don't think I'd let you fall do you? What reason could I possibly have to let that happen?"

She held the face for a good long moment before chittering in that insectoid laugh of hers and standing up straight again. "Come on," She said in a much lighter tone. "Tiny thing like you, I'll barely notice you're there. Just be ready to move quickly once we get to the apartment. Pieslice will probably try to make a run for it when they see a giant insect on their window." Izel would wait for Nara to climb on. And as she said it was no great burden. As a Jedi that was no stranger to combat she kept in good shape, and her friend was light to begin with. Because she preferred the use of the Force it probably wasn't a trait she commonly displayed, but the Vratix were a naturally strong species. Izel would fall down on all six limbs as she climbed, though for her the sensation was little different from how she had been walking all day. The tug of gravity was a bit stronger, but no threat to her. Progress would be slow but steady, so as to avoid Nara having too much trouble hanging on. Some of the civilians below would look up at them strangely, others pointing and shouting, but most appeared to ignore them. As they passed a few of the other windows the tenants would look far more confused, one Rodian woman jumping and letting out a frightened yelp as Izel crawled over her window. The Vratix ignored them all. They were just about to Pieslice's apartment...

"It's not you that I'm worried about," Nara replied, biting her lip as she shivered. She trusted that Izel wouldn't let her fall, but climbing a building on the back of a Vratix was not how she planned to be spending her afternoon, really.

As she climbed on, clutching onto Izel's back for dear life, Nara closed her eyes tight. "Just... it was all for a good cause, right?" she asked, holding onto her friend tightly. She felt the heft and movement of Izel's body as she started to climb, feeling the tug of gravity on herself. Pushing her to fall. Hoping she slid off. Nara focused on controlling her breathing.

don't look down don't look down don't look down don't look down don't look down

Her eyes opened as she heard yelping and muffled alarm. She saw into so many apartments, so many snapshots of life. People staring. People cooking. People living. She looked up, seeing the scale of the building and regretted her decision. They had to be close, right?

As Izel climbed up to the window, Nara knew they had the right one. It was tinted, but there was no mistaking the presence of computer equipment. What looked like server racks and holo-displays bathed the apartment in a strange half-light. There was a stir... a small one. A vague, tiny silhouette that jerked around, alarmed.

Someone's seen us.

"Hang on!" she yelled to Izel, thinking fast. She pulled her arm back and shoved her fist forward, drawing on the Force quickly. She pushed hard, a smack of energy hitting the window and smashing it, raining shards right into the apartment. Not the most subtle entrance but it'd have to do. No doubt the guards would be coming.

"Now!" she yelled, reaching for her saber.

Izel's antennae twitched and she glanced over her shoulder at Nara's words. "Just... it was all for a good cause, right?" She was saying. The Vratix was a little surprised by just how genuinely frightened her friend seemed. Given some of the things they got up to back during their time together in the Order, it seemed almost ridiculous that this of all things would put her on edge.

"Oh come now Nara," The Jedi master said in a kinder tone, not teasing like before. "I've seen you fight zombies, cultists and Sith lords. You're really telling me you're scared of heights? If you ever found yourself in a situation like that you could just use the Force to ease your fall. And there are plenty of things around here you could grab onto if you needed to." She didn't say much more then that, worried that her attempts at encouragement weren't really helping all that much. Some people just had natural phobias that required more than a few words to overcome.

As they reached the right window Izel tried to peer inside, to catch a glimpse of their quarry. She caught sight of some movement, but it was too small. For all she knew, in this area it could have been rats. Nara's intuition seemed to tell her otherwise though, as she pressed her palm against the glass and unleashed a powerful push that broke right through. The suddenness of the move and the recoil from the blast caused Izel to rear back, her upper body leaning away from the building and leaving Nara's legs to dangle in the open air for a moment. The Vratix reflexively raised her arms to shield her eyes from the glass, then clicked out a curse in her native tongue as her hands went down to clutch Nara's arm and make sure she didn't fall off.

As Nara shouted "Now!" Izel would leap into the apartment, hitting the ground awkwardly and leaving both women to tumble over from the momentum. The Vratix was quick to recover, jumping back to her feet as she saw something small in the corner of her vision again. She took up her pike in both hands, prepared for a fight, but her attention was turned to the door as it started to slide open, one guard already waiting to come in, cocking his blaster rifle.

Thinking fast Izel reached out with one hand, summoning the Force and forcing the automated door to slide shut again. As she held it there she rushed forward and ignited her pike, jamming the glowing yellow blade into the console and melting it, hopefully sealing the guards out for a time. The Vratix then turned back around, scanning the cluttered apartment for their prey. That was one escape route dealt with for the time being, but if this slicer was worth their salt they'd likely have another ready. "Did you see him?" Izel shouted to Nara as she remained by the door. Where were they? Had they ran into the bedroom or something?

Nara regretted her hasty decision instantly as Izel pulled back, leaving Nara's legs to dangle over the open air above a sheer drop to the bottom of the level holy shiiiiiiiiit

It took all her resolve not to scream as she broke the one rule and looked down. Instantly, her vision dizzied as she saw the horrible majesty of the Coruscanti underworld below them. Far below them. Her heart thumped audibly against her chest as every single muscle in her arms clenched onto Izel tightly, hoping beyond hope they'd be fine.

Luckily, Izel launched them both in. As they did, Nara tumbled off her friend's body and stood, silently thanking the Force that she was on some sort of solid ground. As Izel dealt with the door and sealed the guards out for a time, Nara pelted through the apartment, looking for Pieslice. Everywhere she looked, computer equipment was piled high. Old datapads. Portable computer sets. Racks and racks of dataservers with very shoddy cooling, forming a cold mist around ankle height. As Nara stepped through it carefully, she noticed an open hatch.

Carefully, she knelt down as she heard the guards outside hammering on the sealed door. She took her lightstick from her belt, head upside down as she looked inside. The beam of light cut through the dark, showing a slim vent. Reminded her of the tunnels that ran through Nar Shaddaa. As she peered, something shifted. Her light slashed through the dark, seeing two green eyestalks, glaring at her.

They disappeared, followed by some skittering.

"It's in tunnels beneath the floor! Stop him!"
Nara yelled through the apartment. Holding the lightstick in her mouth, she pulled out her blaster and set it to the best 'painful stun' setting she had, before gently sliding herself inside. The vent was quite tight, but she'd always been built for this.

Stop him before he reaches whatever exit there is here. I just need one good shot, or for Izel to just wrench the floor off. Something.

Hearing Nara call out that their quarry was beneath the floor Izel rushed forward. She paced around the center of the room, antennae twitching as she tried to sense where Pieslice was beneath her. Slowly she turned her pike over in her hands, pointing the blade down at the floor and raising it up slightly, preparing to strike. Then she pinpointed their location. Whatever Pieslice was they were a small thing, and likely would be able to outrun Nara in the cramped ducts were they not stopped. Luckily Nara had backup.

Izel plunged her pike down, piercing the floor at her feet and cutting through the metal tunnel beneath. Nara would be treated to the bright glow of the yellow saber, and see the silhouette of a tiny alien standing on two legs. The Vratix had come just inches short of skewering Pieslice, and they yelped in fright as they fell back on their rear end. The lightsaber blade continued in a horizontal line, slicing completely through the duct before disappearing again.

Above Izel withdrew her pike and reached out with one hand, grunting with effort as she again summoned the Force and started to pull the entire duct up from the floor where it had been cut. Now if Pieslice recovered and tried to keep running they would find themselves right back in their own apartment. Before Izel could do any more however her Force sense alerted her to a danger, and she ducked to the side as a blaster bolt whizzed past her left shoulder. Turning around again she raised her lightsaber and fell into her Form III stance as another blaster bolt was fired at her. The guards had managed to open the door, and were now shooting at her from the threshold.

"It's getting crowded up here!" She shouted in warning, hoping Nara would be able to hear her. She had no doubt the guards had alerted other members of their gang the moment their little raid started. They were now on a time limit to grab their target and get out of here before they were swarmed by the KnowOnes.

Nara held on for dear life as she felt the entire vent shift and groan, metal wrenched against metal, lifted from the floor. Beneath her, the vent started to angle upwards where Izel had lifted it, creasing and stressing the metal. Looking up, she saw the small silhouette of Pieslice himself, frozen in fear for a half-second before trying to leap for freedom. Blaster ready, Nara aimed and squeezed the trigger.

The blast smacked Pieslice right in his tiny back as he tried to lift himself out, sending him spinning and smacking across the apartment, hitting a rack of disks and datapads. Computer equipment tumbled down around Izel and the door, lending everything just a hint more chaos.

"Grab that little shit!" Nara yelled as she crawled hurriedly back, pushing her blaster back into the holster. Time to go with the advantage. As she climbed back into server room, she grabbed her saber and ignited it, ready. Hopefully they'd grab Pieslice and get out. If the worst came to the worst, she had a weapon that'd outmatch some blasters.

Still... all this tech. All this info.

She looked around greedily, biting her lip as she heard the hisses, bangs and clatters of blaster fire.

Screw it.

Nara grabbed the nearest drive from the server, wrenched it out as quick as she could. Hopefully, there might be something useful on there. With that, she ran into the other room, just narrowly avoiding a shot to the chest.

"Window?!" Nara yelled to Izel, holding the saber defensively, knocking back a blaster bolt as it thundered towards her.

As she continued to hold the guards at bay Izel heard a stun blast and a yelp as something smacked into the wall behind her, causing a small avalanche of poorly organized discs and other tech. "Grab that little shit!" She heard Nara's muffled voice from the vent, and glanced over her shoulder. After a few moments of searching she spotted their target, lying unconscious amongst the mess. A Zilkin of all things... She never would have guessed.

Seeing as it looked like it was time to go, Izel quickly pressed her palm forward. Using the Force she flung several dozen of the fallen discs towards their attackers, pelting the men and causing them to briefly take cover outside the room. Izel used that opportunity to grab the Zilkin and pick him up.

"Oh! I get it!" The Vratix suddenly blurted out. "Pieslice! Because he's a tiny slicer!" She looked at Nara. "You know, like a tiny slice of pie? No?" She shrugged and stuffed the unconscious alien into her satchel before joining her friend at the window. "We're going to have to go down express, unless you think you can keep them from filling me with holes?" Izel asked Nara as she climbed up on the sill. The moment they departed the guards would be firing on them for the window. The Vratix could slide down more haphazardly, no doubt threatening her friend with a heart attack in the process, or she could move more methodically and Nara would need to defend her during the descent. Whatever her friend decided, Izel would begin moving at her direction.

Nara sliced another blast back as Izel came up with her sudden contemplation on criminal naming conventions. Giving her a look of astonishment, Nara shook her head. "Izel?! Is now the time?!" she yelled as she waited, looking between the window and the thugs that were hiding from scattered disks.

It was a tough decision. Go quicker and safer from attack, but heading down the building? Or go slower, less quickly... but then potentially get shot. It took a half-second of clear thinking and another shot fired at them for Nara to decide.

"QUICK! GO QUICK!" Nara yelled. With a shove of her hand, she sent out a heavy shove and pulse through the Force towards the door and the rest of the room. It wouldn't be enough to shove anyone back too much, but it sent everything in the room into chaos. Datapads and screens flew from desks and tables, computer systems slipped from shelves in a wrenched torrent of sparks and crashes.

With their exit partly obscured by the chaos, Nara jumped and flung herself onto her friend's back. Her limbs clamped down on Izel's insect body, closing her eyes tight. "Gogogogogogogo!!!" Nara squealed, hoping she wouldn't have to actually look again.

Izel nodded in reply to Nara's request. Express it was. "Hang on!" She called as the human clung to her, heaving herself out the window again. This time instead of carefully clinging to the wall and slowly climbing down, she relied on the hook-claws on her forearms. Whipping her body around once outside the window, she dug them into the glass and allowed her body to simply slide down the surface at a much faster pace, creating a terrible screeching effect from the contact. She hissed to herself at the discomfort it caused, but this allowed for a much faster and theoretically safer descent. Above them the guards came to the window and fired down, but they were lousy shots, and the two Jedi were already escaping their range.

They managed to get halfway down the building before things took a turn for the worse. Out of nowhere Izel's Force sense suddenly flared up in a completely unfamiliar way. The Vratix gasped and reflexively clutched her chest as she felt a horrific stab of pain. Her vision was for a split second overtaken by the blurred image of a Zeltron on her knees, screaming in agony. When the image disappeared and Izel regained control of her senses, she found herself falling through the open air.

Fortunately the fall was a short one. Unfortunately the fall was broken as she and Nara slammed into the windshield of a souped-up sky car, painted with wild vibrant colors and blasting intense music. The Twi'lek driver immediately panicked and lost control of the vehicle, swinging from one side of the sky lane to the next and threatening to collide with other cars. Izel was oblivious to this, peeling herself off the windshield with a groan before gasping in realization. "Nykoria?" She muttered mostly to herself, and looking over her shoulder at Nara to see if she had felt the same thing... Or if she was even still conscious after that spectacular turn of events.

Nara felt the shake through Izel's body as she slid down the side. She felt the wind whip through her hair. She heard the whoosh of the wind, the screech of the metal and the shouting from above them. She didn't see anything, eyes wrenched shut out of fear it'd all go wrong.

Which it did.

At the same time as Izel, Nara's head burst with pain felt through the Force. Scattershot images fired through her mind of a Zeltron screaming, burning out any other thought from her mind. By the time she regained any sense of self, they were falling.

The shock of the impact smacked Nara off Izel's back, sending her tumbling over the windshield, head smacking against the toughened, clear material. Her body sprawled out across the top, saved from the fate of sliding off by the ridiculous modifications the Twi'lek had made, the raised vents stopping her from slipping right off the back. Her head lolled back, eyes closed, blood seeping from a gash on her forehead. The sudden, shared vision and the impact of the fall had left her unconscious.

Izel could only gasp in surprise and terror as she realized Nara had slipped off of her, unconscious body sliding across the surface of the vehicle and threatening to fall to what would almost certainly be her death. The Vratix scrambled to try and get after her, but she had barely faired any better from the fall. Her head was spinning, her vision blurred, her whole body ached, and the Force was screaming and chaotic all around and within her being. The revelation that Kori was alive, and very clearly in serious danger, couldn't have come at a worse time.

Thankfully the modifications made to the sky car were enough to catch Nara's body, and Izel was on her just a moment later. Using her legs to cling safely to the vehicle she reached out and pressed her palm on the human's injured head. The Vratix sighed with relief upon confirming that she wasn't dead. But her attention was called away as the driver side window rolled down and the Twi'lek poked his head out to yell at her.

"What the hell are you doing?" He shouted indignantly. Izel whipped back around to look at him with a venomous glare.

"What the hell are you doing?" she snapped back, any sympathy gone in the moment of having to process not one but two of her closest friends in the gravest of danger. "Keep your eyes on the lane before you get us killed! Get to a hospital now!" The Twi'lek thankfully was cowed by her words, and immediately leaned back in the car and rolled up his window. With that problem seemingly dealt with Izel again focused on Nara, trying to use the Force to heal her. Given her own state of injury and mind it was no easy task, concentrating was next to impossible in these circumstances. But she had to succeed. She had no way of knowing if they were out of the fire yet. If Pieslice was as valuable to the KnowOnes as the bounty suggested he was, they might be sending more gangsters after them.

The panicky Twi'lek retreated to the car, taking a little more control of it. As much control as one could with an unconscious human, an angry Vratix and one small annoyance. At least the driving straightened up a little bit more.
With the effort from Izel, the Force aided Nara's natural abilities and bodily-healing. It wasn't as targeted and directed as it could've been in the right circumstances, but it was enough. After a few rough, staggered seconds, Nara awoke with a pained gasp. Her vision swayed, head pounding and throbbing with pain. Her hand instantly moved to her wound, pushing against it to try and stop the bleeding.

Her eyes weren't focused, her vision swimming in the air before her. Slowly, a rough and ragged Izel shape formed in front of her. "Izel?" she asked, her voice groggy and barely audible over the whizz of the traffic around them. Slowly, the realisation of what had happened hit her.

"Kori!" she gasped even louder, trying to sit up. It was a bad idea. She winced hard, clutched her head as the colour drained from her cheeks. "Need to land..." Even in her state, Nara knew that being driven through the skyways of Coruscant was probably a very bad idea. She needed to get off there, she needed to lie down and she needed some bacta on her head. Or a shot of adrenaline. Or both.

"Kori..." she muttered again, looking at the fuzzy Izel shape in front of her. "Still got... Slice... pie?"

Izel held on to Nara as they remained atop the skycar, partially to keep her from sliding off and partially to keep her from moving too much until she had regained her senses. "Right." The Vratix agreed with her friend with a nod as she requested they landed. It had been a foolish, spur of the moment idea to try and get to a hospital like this in the first place. Stomping her foot on the roof of the vehicle she called to the driver again. "Put us down!" Inside the Twi'lek rolled his eyes.

"Go this way, go that way, keep your eyes on the lane, what am I a chauffeur?" He mumbled to himself angrily as he easily brought the car down to land not far from a bus stop. "Get out of here! And good riddance, ya oversized pest!" He rolled down the window to shout as Izel helped Nara onto the flat ground.

"You have my apologies for the inconvenience." Izel said with a slight bow of her head as she turned to face the driver. She glanced at the damage they had done to the windshield and cringed, reaching into her pocket to pull out some credits. "And the damages..." She added as she tossed him the money. "Please contact the Jedi Order and tell them that Master Thral owes you. They should cover the repair costs." The Twi'lek looked placated, if only slightly.

"Yeah... okay..." He replied in a more subdued tone as he rolled up the window and departed, blasting the music from his stereo once more. Izel turned back to Nara as she dizzily brought up their tiny captive.

"Yes," She started as she looked down to reach in her satchel. "He's right... Where is he!?" The Vratix desperately scanned the ground, only to spot the Zilkin trying to make an escape down a thin alley. The Jedi reached a hand out and summoned the Force, snatching the little alien by the feet and dragging him back towards them as he clawed pointlessly at the ground and uttered a string of horrible curses. "Will you just give it up already?" She asked the slicer with a frustrated huff. "Can't you see my friend and I are hurt? We don't have the energy for this nonsense." She would then turn her attention to Nara. "Do you think you could call the police? I'd do it myself but... Well there are rumors going about that I'm a pain to deal with..."

Nara blinked and slowly returned to some level of cognitive function, clutching onto her cut forehead as the pain throbbed in sickly waves. She could tell they were descending though, down from the chaos of the Coruscanti skyways and onto the safety of the ground. Well.. the relative safety of the ground. As Izel dealt with their tiny problem, Nara climbed off the car and reached into her bag, hoping that her bacta patches hadn't fallen out.

With a fresh new patch on her forehead, stopping her from bleeding anymore, Nara stared over at Pieslice as Izel dragged him back. Watching him scrabble and yell, limbs hung helplessly far from the ground. "Squirmy little shit, ain't he?" Nara asked Izel, her voice still a little dreamy and drifting.

"Yeah, I'll call into their switchboard, see if I can..." she started to say, before an idea occurred to her. In her bag, sealed away where she stored chits and cards, was some information that might be of use. "Actually... I know someone in the Rangers. Don't ask," Nara added quickly, expecting some questions on that front. It took all of five seconds to find the card she was looking for, pulling out her communicator.

Turning away from Izel and pipsqueak Pieslice, Nara keyed in the details and waited.

"Hello, Lieutenant Velt? It's Nara. Listen, I'm with a friend and we might've just had a little breakthrough of our own. And a little problem you might be able to help us with..."

As Nara got on her comlink, Izel lifted up their tiny slicer and shoved his squirming form back into her bag. He had a lot of fight in him for such a small thing, but this time she'd be watching him like a hawk. There'd be no more tricks. "Stop it." She said in an almost scolding tone as she pressed down on the satchel's flap. That's when she heard Nara talking about the Sector Rangers all of the sudden and looked back to her.

"Oh?" She started curiously. "Been a while since I've dealt with one of them, in my experience they usually try to avoid our type." Thinking back Raxus Secundus was the last time Izel had worked with a Sector Ranger, back when she was still a Knight. And what a disaster that had been. Rangers and Jedi just didn't seem to mix in her opinion, it was probably better that they worked independently. Of course, the Council wanted them to cooperate, and she had learned better than to challenge their will too much. Besides, if this Ranger was a friend of Nara's how bad could they be?

Izel looked down again as a small hand was trying to reach out of the satchel and promptly smacked it before turning back to Nara. "Well let's get going then. Anything to get this little sleemo off our hands..." The trouble he'd given them would be worth the fifty thousand credits. A substantial donation for Knight Zathria's Mercy Ships Initiative. With her mission here complete hopefully Izel would have some time to relax with an old friend before getting back to business.
