Hello my new friends,

I have some experience with play-by-post rps but I love Star Wars, Old Republic stuff especially, so when I found this site I was overjoyed and joined immediately. I especially like setting so far back, makes it feel special and a halfway different world from the movies. I am very happy to get started here. I am a sophomore at university, so something like this is far more feasible than a dice rolling adventure. I really hope to be an active and creative member of this community. I cannot wait to get started! I think i'll start with a Chiss Jedi, (I wonder where the Ascendancy stands in all of this, or if it even exists, I have some reading to do!) In short I am glad to have found all of you!

If you need any help or anything, you should have gotten a welcome PM with lots of helpful info.

Just so you are aware while our timeline does have some similarties with the Old Republica era, it's not quite the same. As you look through the story and lore you'll see how they differ.

And as for your last question about the Chiss: In canon Chiss lose their force-sensitivity as they go into adult hood, and only have once force power (precognition). The Ascendancy does exist, but the greater galaxy is unaware of it. There is a link to more information regarding their force abilities in the Approved Species list.

I think I already met you over in Discord, but thanks for the welcome. I have decided to make a Givin instead. Question, How underground resistance fighter-y are the Galactic alliance? Do they have a stable control of any worlds, I ask because I want more than just military role play. And I'm well aware that this isn't like The Old Republic, I only meant the ancient setting.

It's pretty underground resistance fightery. There's cells and everything, in addition to a more formal military (although it's wouldn't be as big as the Mandos or Empires)

And the atlas map, (planets covered in blue) are ones that the GA have (stable) control over.
