Alita hails from a line of Imperial officers, so her family has suffered ups and downs of its affiliation with the Empire. However, the Cranes have remained loyal generation after generation, with each descendant always in some form of military service. Alita graduated from the esteemed Ziost Military Academy, which has since been relocated to Raxus. Her specialty lies in subterfuge, diplomacy and foreign affairs.

Alita was largely unaffected by the Empire and Sith split, as her role was always Imperial. Since war efforts have kicked up, she has had a renewed sense of ambition to move up the Imperial ranks.
