A modernistic variant of the old Theta-class shuttle flew over the moon. Not much was there, aside from some minor foliage. The trail of the vessel that had crash-landed was clearly visible, having carved through the landscape. Not knowing what to expect, the party kept flying, following the trail carved into the muck. The trail led them to the vessel, barely visible after being overgrown with gunk and vines. The front was still visible, suggesting the ship was a Dreadnaught or Assault Frigate Mk I, but it was unable to tell from here. The shuttle landed a few hundred yards away from the hulk, and the crew disembarked.

Statement: Alright, meatbags. You know how this goes. Find the logs, destroy the infested ship, and don't die. Query: Any questions?

The Core fleet warped into the orbit of Danteel, fifteen ships of all shapes and sizes began form a blockade of the planet. the fighting begins o become fierce between both sides, the fleet admiral concerned for the invasion as a hole order the early and immediate drop of all ground forces. every ship is alerted, Gaius Wakes up to his favorite sound in the world, the Drop Siren. Putting on his Armour he attaches his weapons ans grabs his helmet, leaving his quarters he walks into his squads barracks, " Listen up ,Listen up!" The entire room stands at parade rest as Gaius walks from the quarterdeck, "First Wave gents, we will establish a beach head so fleet and ferry supplies with out ground interference, get in take out there start artillery and wait for the Back up, for those of you that have just joined us from the pinnacle of education that is the Fleet academy, welcome to Blue Wing." Gaius led his squad out of the room and joined the rest of the battalion in running to the drop ships.

"A Sergent now, who's but did you kiss send him my way," Gaius laughed with his brother, "no butt kissing just hard work, you schould try it.", Damien playfully punched his brother as he moved to go to his own squads drop ship, "Always wanted to be a hero like you, but my lip s arent the proper size for ass kissing.", Gaius rolled his eyes as he stepped over the threshold to his drop ship, "you want to be a hero, here is your chance, see you in the citadel." The hatch closed, Gaius felt the ship detach from a hard dock.

Gaius awoke , leaning over in his chair, the noise from the annoying robotic lieutenant was ringing in his ears, he was only going to be called a meat bag so many more times for he snapped, it not like it would be murder, it was just a droid. " Aye sir! Lets go people, it show time, remember the briefing, don't let the little shits touch you, we are here for the log, and to blow the ship, stick to the group, I want all sectors of fire covered." Gaius took the box he was sitting on and pushed into the middle of the team, kicking the side it opened to show all manner of light producing products, "Glow rods, flash bangs, flashlights, they hate all light as long as you stay lit they cant burrow into you." Gaius turned around and picked up his helmet, securing it tightly he grabbed a few glow rods and placed them through some of the loose metal loops on his Armour.

Shaun sat in the back, towards the cockpit with his head down, praying. He had just graduated from the Galactic Alliance Military Academy, and was on his first live OP. He had the butterflies like crazy. But he was calm on the outside. Once the shuttle landed, the men started to file out. He stood up, staring into his helmet. All he could see was the reflection of himself.

He turned the helmet and slid it on his head, securing it. He then pushed in a button on his chest plate, illuminating his armor. He read into the briefing, and figured it would be best to already be prepared. He then pushed a button on his helmet, and a bar flipped over, producing a light beam. He then reached down to his right, and picked up his shotgun by the pump.

He made his way down the ramp, joining the rest of the men. He wasn't the only Lieutenant on the mission. Lt. HK-51-20 was also along for the ride, so he figured he'd let 51-20 run the show.

Siryn's Call broke from hyperspace, what he was met with was a small forested moon; most like any other. His eyes scanned it over, his hands working over a few commands within the cockpit as he readied a radio transmission to the Republic squad he was to meet up with. His eyes looked over a monitor that read off various life forms and minerals that for the most part laid dormant on the planet.

"Traask Nadill, reporting.."

The monitor he had just been looking at chimed out that it had found an unnatural metal located in what appeared to be the Northwest quadrant of the small moon. Huffing in a deep breath he turned to a different monitor, his hands working over the yoke to take the ship in for landing near the frigate. His eyes gazed over information on the drochs; nasty little bastards from what the file said.

"..I'll be landing momentarily."

His ship began a rapid descent through the moons atmosphere, his autopilot taking over and bringing him almost directly above the downed ship. Looking outward the larger frigate looked like hell, a good portion of it was still in tact, but there was no telling what could have gotten out or into the metallic behemoth. Putting his personalized light freighter into manual he looked for a clear place to land, wanting to be close to the bulk of the shipwreck in case they had to make a quick escape.

25 meters out from the frigate was a clearing just big enough for his ship to clear. Lowering down slowly it was like second nature for the smuggler, he had always been a natural born pilot.. It had just come to him just like most other skills; he was a lucky son of a bitch, that's for sure. With a light tap on the dense forest floor he began the shutdown procedure for the ship, turning off all unnecessary systems before rising from his more than broken in seat. His legs carried him to the cargo hold where he began his quick search for the necessary equipment; first grabbing his carbine. The EE-3 was more than modified, the wooden stock supplying it with greater accuracy, especially combined with the electronic scope; it was deadly accurate to almost 200 meters. He'd quickly strap a UV Light to the bottom of the weapon and grab a satchel of glow sticks as well as backup UV lights; better safe than sorry.

"En route to the main hull."

His cold voice reached out to any open frequencies that were on the ground. Should anyone respond; the squad; he'd save it and be sure to keep in contact should he have to. Their primary goal was to retrieve the ship logs, then to detonate the hunk of metal and get the hell outta there. Assuring the Rancor skin duster he so casually wore was securely fastened he tightened any loose gear before venturing off of his ship; the loading ramp closing behind him. Hammering in a few commands into his wrist-gaunt would activate the ships security then finally kill off all the major systems. It was time to earn his paycheck..

The group walked from the shuttle ramp into the clearing they had landed in. No. 20 stepped out first, having equipped his arm attachment slots with old-fashioned Baragwin Flamethrowers. Nothing would roast these bugs better then them, and although flamethrowers were considered "terror weapons" in this day and age, this was a special occasion. The color of No. 20's photoreceptors shifted from ice blue to a glowing purple, indicating that they were now projecting ultraviolet light. Grabbing a few stun grenades, he placed them in his compartments, along with extremely high-power flash mines. However, he left his Droid Disintegrator in the shuttle, as ion weapons did nothing against drochs. Instead, his secondary rifle was an old E-11, still considered a decent rifle even in this late age.

The group began to walk towards the spot of the hulk, and as they did, No. 20 began to start asking questions.

Query: So what do you meatbags do in your spare time? Statement: I am only asking this question because I have nothing to do, and well, we won't be getting to this hulk anytime soon.

"I just got out of the Academy, Lieutenant. And as far as spending my spare time, I'm usually cleaning my gun or gear, reading in the library, or resting. Because God knows we get a lot of sleep," Shaun said with a chuckle. As he spoke, he heard a voice from outside the group break through the comms.

"Ah. Mr. Nadill. How nice of you to join us. I'm sure you're up to speed on our OP here. It's quite, buggy," he said with a devilish grin. "We will meet you at the hull," he said ending communications with Traask until they got to the hull.

Gaius joined the rest of the team as they exited the shuttle, once again the droid called them all meatbags, to avoid shooting him in the back, Gaius focused on his question, which was hard to answer as he didn't do much when he had time off. " This is my Spare time Sir, Got pulled off my well deserved leave for this, aint live grand." Gaius continued to move forward, checking the surroundings with his scanner, there was no sign of civilization other then the three ships in the area, the life readings were extremely high, which meant the drouch could have a unlimited amount of hosts if they did not take care of this problem. Gaius looked at the boot Lieutenant as he proudly displayed that he had just got out of the academy, just another metal chaser put in charge to get his men killed.

"Sir." Gaius brings his scanner to the view of the droid, to show him the layout of the crash sight, he then overlays his recent life form readings, "They have begun to spread, the sun has been keeping them back, but if we don't take care of this now, it will only be a matter of time." Of all the missions he had go on this had to be one of the worste, but as long as everyone got home in one piece, he had nothing to complain about.

Traask looked up at the sky as he came in contact with the downed frigate, it towered over him as he expected it to. His eyes however were focused on the lone sun that orbited the small moon. Looking at his wrist-gaunt he began making minor calculations, luckily the ship was downed on the north side of the moon; it prolonged the sun's exposure on the ship.

"We don't have much time, that sun by calculations gives us 4 hours before we're in darkness."

He broadcasted this to the Alliance squad he knew was quickly moving in. His life scanner picked up there movement from down the path, but it was what was around him that was going crazy. There must have been hundreds, maybe thousands of lifeforms in the area; he was simply hoping it wasn't all droch that his scanner was picking up. Moving closer to the hull his hand traced over the dense durasteel that made up the framework of the ship.

[THOUGHT]"...Maybe it's better to just blow this bastard up as opposed to try and save some nonsense information.."[THOUGHT]

The thought had procured within his mind during the hyperjump here, it was only now that the thought was becoming more evident. Shaking it away, that's not how he'd get his credits. Slapping a square block of thermite to the side of the cargo hold he slid the charge into it. The amount of explosive he was using was enough to atomize anything within a 2 meter radius. More than enough to put a hole in the side of the frigate.

Walking three meters away from the charge he looked to his wrist attachment, with the press of a button the blast would put a hole in the side of the ship big enough for two men to walk in comfortably. Anything two meters inward on the blast would be immediately vaporized; essentially clearing a path for them. Traask waited for the Alliance soldiers to come on either side of him before hitting the activator. The blast was almost deafening; a wave of energy coming out at the squad appearing as if it would vaporize all of them just as it had the dense metal. It would be an amazing sight though, the wave of energy stopping just feet from them and leaving them unharmed; any closer and they'd of all been lost.

Traask's eyes went over the large hole in the side of the ship, still keeping his distance from the entryway; the drochs could assault any of them at this time; but luckily they were in the sunlight. Inside of the ship they wouldn't be so fortunate; the power had shut down and left the entire frigate dark.

"...we looking for survivors?"

His voice spoke as if he expected nothing to be inside; but there was no telling if someone could have stowed away. Their answer would decide whether he'd look for anyone, in truth he'd only look if their was pay in it; he wasn't here to help the alliance but thicken his wallet.

No. 20 was impressed. The mercenary's use of heavy explosives to gain entry to the ship almost brought a tear to his photoreceptors. As all HK-51 units inherited the base programming of HK-47, he inherited his predecessor unit's love for mass destruction and killing, though the GA technicians' modifications gave him too strong of a sense of loyalty to Alliance personnel to try anything on them.

Statement: I am impressed with your usage of explosives, mercenary meatbag. The massive tearing of metal almost makes me want to sob...

Stepping into the large, dark crevice opened by Traask's explosives, No. 20 waved the squad in.

Plan: Alright, meatbags, here's how we're going to handle this: The mercenary meatbag and I will search this hulk for survivors. Observation: This vessel, judging by the exterior design, is either an Assault Frigate Mk I or Dreadnaught. Upload their internal design to the holoprojector on your armor. This will allow us to determine our positions in the vessel. While me and this meatbag search for survivors, you two go and retrieve the data those back at base want. it should be accessible via the bridge computer.

Secondary Statement: Also, if you run across any Drochs, your armor should be strong enough to prevent them from boring into your meaty flesh. The smaller ones you can crush, but kill the larger ones with a blaster rifle.

Just then, a small droch, a couple inches in length, came into view, No. 20 stepped over and crushed the insect underneath its foot, leaving the greenish goop inside the creature stuck on the bottom plate of its foot.

Query: Are there any questions at the moment? This could be the last time I see some of you alive again.
