Shattered Order - Chapter 1: The Promise

The Jedi and the rest of the free galaxy have had a varied past, though the Jedi have only mainly interacted with the Sector Rangers. Both the Free Worlds and the Jedi have been devastated by Sith attacks, leaving the Jedi battered and bruised. The Jedi see themselves as servants of the Force and life itself, and thus it is important that they maintain their alliance with the free peoples of the galaxy.

The Jedi have taken up a plan on helping strengthen their allies and believe it is time to define the clear terms of their alliance for both the Governments and the Orders to be aware of, this is their only hope if they wish to stop the growing threat of the Sith. So a team of Jedi Diplomats, Healers, and Scholars have taken to the heart of the Free Worlds to provide aide and strengthen their bonds.
________

1. An Official Introduction: The Jedi, lead by Council Member Oren Zapan and Jedi Master Maxims Tionson have ventured to Chandrilia to meet with the Senate Members of the Free World's Alliance, officially introducing the Jedi Order to the Alliance in proper and provide any answers to the questions that the Senate may have for them. Their goal is to ultimately define the terms of their partnership.

Assigned: @Oren Zapan and @Maxims Tionson (No further Jedi) - Open to All Senate Members

2. Turbulent Negotiations: [Ask or Open] A Group of Jedi Diplomats have been sent to the planet of Bestine, where ancient feuds between Quarren and Mon Calamari have boiled over into disputes between two large fishing companies. Threats of piracy is being waged against one and an other, and the Free World Alliance could use the help in preventing it from spilling into something violent.

3. Free of Charge: Uba IV is home to the Ubese People, located near the edge of the Free World Alliance border, it can take time for supplies and medical aide to be provided to the people. A strange sickness is plaguing the people, leaving them bed riddled. The people have historically been skeptical of Jedi, and aiding them would require an understanding of their past. Provide healing to the sick, but first you'll need to convince the Chief Physician to let you.

BIOGRAPHY

Acceptance, yet no peace.

In the Unknown Regions of Space, the cults of the Dark Side lingered in the shadows, gathering on planets forgotten from the greater galaxy. Here the foundations of the strong came to rule, here the next generation of future Sith were born. Davin Crik was one of those children, a child of a lesser Darkside Cult, his life had been predestined to serve the Eternal from birth.

At an early age Davin would be sent to one of the many training grounds of the then Eternal Cult, training and learning the ways of the dark side, gathering tid bits of information from the knowledge that remained within the collective. Here he learned to use the force, and to fight with a lightsaber. He felt the grueling pains of early life as an acolyte, where the strong ruled over the weak, and one's own life was not a guarantee.

It was during this time that Davin had come to learn the weakness of many of his fellow students, they had become slaves to their emotions and it ate them alive. It was clear that the force was a corruptive element that ate away at those who used it with little thought. Davin saw himself above mindless aggression and instead aimed to be more calculating in his tactics. He sought knowledge and stronger powers, and with it he'd aim to rise to power one day.

His time in the Acolyte academies had garnered the attention of many different faces, many simply wishing to use the boy as a tool in their own powerbase. Though there would only be one victor in acquiring his skills, Darth Ceryx. Davin would depart for Bakura, ready to begin his official life in the Sith.

Race Information
Race Name: - Tel

Race Characteristics: - The Tel, also known as Elves or Fae in certain regions of the world are one of the newest races to dwell in the known world. They are a mysterious and zealous bunch with a complex and strange history. Many different ethnic groups exist to this day, with varying cultures and ideas--and in their short time have come to dominate and influence even the culture of man. They are sharp with arcane arts, and have created a high form of culture that dominates the Eastern Portion of the World.

Race Age Standards: - ~2000 Years

Region: Elves can be found in certain regions of the world.

Ethnic Groups:
  • Cantir: Once brothers and sisters of the original Tel, the Cantir were religious zealots that had left the place of origin, rejecting the belief that they were the children of dragons. They isolated themselves along a narrow island, in which they were slowly morphed and changed. Their island is controlled by warring dynasties, and have been locked in an isolationist civil war for hundreds of years. Known as the Dark Fae, Dark Elves, Dark-Tel.
  • Sumir: The original Tel, they were elves of golden skin and tall stature. Believed to be the children of the dragon god, and destined rulers of the known world. They have had huge swaths of land and culture that influences almost all of the known eastern Hemisphere. It is said that the biggest cities in the West are merely the size of the God Emperor's private estate. Commonly known as High-Elves, High-Tel, God-Elves, Fae.
  • Solir: The Solir were direct descendants of the Solir, they rejected the God Dragon and believed that they were the children of The Lady of the Sun. They had a mass exodus from the Tel heartland and arrived in the jungles of Ye-peng, where they fought with the inhabitants and enslaved the races of men for thousands of years. Believed to be blessed by the Lady of the Sun, their skins are hues of red and orange, with vibrant warm hair that matches the humid and blazing heat of the world around them. Known as the Sunset Elves.
  • Gelir: Not much is known about this race of Tel, with some claiming that they are merely stories told by the old men. It is said that they are peaceful elves that live in the deep frozen beyond, their castles made of pure ice and snow, it is claimed that to exist in such a land would be impossible, but the Tel here are quite kind and warm. It would be unheard of to see them away from the frigid frozen wastelands. Known as the Snow-Tel or Snow-Elves.
  • Marir: Another race of Tel, that is shrouded in mystery, and don't seem to follow similar pantheons or customs and cultures as the Cantir, Sumir, and Solir Elves. These elves are believed to be the kin of the Sumir prophet Tang-Ye and his followers, who under what some would consider complete madness had convinced his following to enter the sea after receiving words in his dreams. Believed to have died, and never seen again for thousands of years--a strange set of Tel would emerge. Mostly found around coasts, they claim to live in the nations under the sea, though plenty cause havoc as pirates and smugglers along the known world's seas.

All sentient and quite sharp, some of them can be found in cities and towns, but there are many who will not tolerate their beings. The Sith Order, formerly known as the Sith Eternal, was reformed when The Eternal claimed the title of Dark Lord of the Sith.

But first, a look into the far past to understand the present. After the death of Darth Sidious, the spirits of the ancient Sith, and most of the cultists at the Battle of Exegol, the remnants of the Sith stood watch over the sacred sites of the ancient Sith. Determined to ensure the memory of the Sith were not forgotten and the code of the Sith was spread once again, they bided their time, absorbing likeminded religious groups and yearning to destroy those who had murdered their gods.

qyjE6aS.png
The organization known today as the Eternal Legion was born millennia ago from the Jedi Order. Before the Jedi Exiles became the first Sith Lords, the seeds of the Eternal Legion were sown. A Jedi Knight by the name of Xendor gained a following that believed the study of the dark side of the Force was a necessity, leading to the First Great Schism of the Jedi Order.

Founding a new Jedi Academy of his own to focus on studying the darker side of the Force, his followers became known as the Legions of Lettow. The Jedi Order and the Legions faced one another in open combat that ultimately led to the death of Xendor and what appeared to be the destruction of the Legions.

While the original Legions of Lettow have been all but forgotten by the histories of the galaxy, the truth is that their principles and people lived on in exile. For thousands of years, the Legions of Lettow had made their home deep within the Unknown Region, and little is known about this period of time.

What is known is that their principles evolved during this time, and what had begun as an interest in studying the dark side transformed into the realization that the dark side of the Force was the natural state of the Force.

The Legions of Lettow continued their isolation until some would say that fate intervened. For 7,000 years since the Hundred-Years Darkness the dark side seemed to favor the Sith Lords as its champion in their struggle against the Jedi, but with the destruction of Darth Sidious and the death of all the past spirits of the Sith Lords, the dark side required a new champion.

Leading the Legions of Lettow from the isolation of the Unknown Region and raising them up to be the new champions of darkness fell to the Eternal. The figure known as the Eternal is shrouded in as much mystery as the Sith Lord of the same name from ancient days. Some even say it is an avatar of the dark side itself.

When it appeared on the doorstep of the Legions of Lettow after the final death of the Sith, every member of the Legions recognized its strength in the dark side. It provided them their first access to the teachings of the Sith and taught them how to build lightsabers of their own and become warriors of the darkness. Three decades later it appeared again and led the Legions through the Unknown Region to the remnants of the Sith Eternal who now took for themselves the name “Guardians of the Eternal.”

The Legions of Lettow were rechristened the “Eternal Legions” and together with the Guardians of the Eternal formed the new Sith Eternal.

As the two sects intermixed with one another, it was discovered that the Eternal’s appearance to both groups had been equally as mysterious with neither sect knowing its origin or intention. They only knew that it carried with it a darkness and authority that surpassed anything that had been seen since the death of the Sith, and it was obsessed with finding the original Mask of the Eternal.

Eventually, the Sith Eternal was discovered by the galaxy at large and could not survive in the state it was currently in. Instead of running and cowering, The Eternal decided to claim the mantel of the Dark Lord of the Sith. With this new title, he reformed the Sith Order, returning the Sith to older, more aggressive traditions before declaring war on the Jedi Order.

View of the Dark Side

tumblr_o0196s5TVc1rfwqxjo1_500.gifv
Most Sith could tell you that the galaxy is built on an endless cycle. Life prospers through its days and eventually dies, and the subsequent decay feeds new life. In nature, a critical piece of this balance is the predator that devour the weak and manages the population in order to allow life as a whole to flourish. This cycle - this balance as some would call it - is immutably driven forward by the Force.

At the core of their belief system, the Sith have what many would define as a corrupted view of the Force. Most notably, they believe that the Dark Side of the Force is the Force's natural state. This truth is manifested by the ease with which the Force may be accessed through powerful emotion. While Jedi condemn this path as "quick" and "easy" the Sith argue that this is the Force laying a path over which Force sensitives can more easily tread. Even those with little to no training may still be able to access the Force through a powerful set of emotions based purely on instinct whereas use of the Force while empty of emotion is far more difficult because it defies the nature of the Force itself.

They believe that Force sensitivity, and specifically the Force's natural state (the dark side of the Force), is a mechanism evolved by the Force to ensure that the natural cycle of the galaxy is continued even in the face of civilizations that spring up. Unlike non-sentient life, sentients build societies that can promote stagnation. To the Sith, war and death are necessary forces to allow new ideas and life to grow and evolve.

It is the role of the Sith - and all Force users - to act as the Force's equalizers. Like a predator in the wild that hunts without remorse, those touched with the Force must tear down static societies through even extreme measures. Mass destruction opens the door for the growth of new life and ideas. Societies can be rebuilt under Sith rule and develop into a far more advanced culture than they ever could have under their previous social restraints.

Rule of the Strong

fc80c01e41cdca89841dd0f6bc8bd723048d98cc.gif
The “Rule of the Strong" was termed by one of the original Dark Lord's of the Sith. It is an ancient axiom that is as simple as it sounds: only the strongest Sith is worthy of ruling over the rest.

But the Rule is about more than just strength alone. How Sith gain their strength is equally important. The Rule teaches that Sith must look inward for their power. Friends, family, and loved ones were tools to be used, but such connections were frowned upon otherwise as the most powerful Sith exalted the self above all others.

Furthermore, the Rule teaches to embrace passion and jealousy, to covet what other more powerful Sith have—which leads to conflicts within the Sith Order. While the death of other members of the Order may seem counter intuitive to the outsider, the Sith's beliefs in purging the old to make room for the new leaves little room to doubt the practice.

Lastly, the Rule dictates that Force-sensitives will always rule over those without the Force. As a result, Sith always hold authority over non-Force-sensitives. Even high ranking officers of non-Force-sensitive status have no ability to reign in Sith of lower ranks. Sith are permitted to punish their subordinates however they see fit. This ensures that they are always respected and treated as superior.

Sith Acolyte
A Sith Acolyte is a Force-sensitive who has completed the basics of their training and has been chosen to continue their journey towards becoming a true Sith. They usually have basic control over their Sith skills—the Force and their martial abilities—but have potential that could be drawn out with further experience. Note: this rank is optional for player characters.

Sith Marauder
A Sith Marauder (formerly Legionnaire/Guardian) is a Force-sensitive who has completed their training as an Acolyte and has gained the right to be recognized as a full-fledged Sith. They are the dark equivalent of the Jedi Knights of old, fully capable of using their martial and Force skills in combat to a highly effective degree.

Sith Lord
A Sith Lord (formerly Warden of the Dark Side) is a Force-sensitive who has become a master of the dark side of the Force. Lords of the Sith are by no means ordinary Force-sensitives. Their Force power and martial skills are usually unrivaled and they are feared and respected for this very reason. At this rank, an individual may take a Darth name for themselves.

The Dark Council
A Dark Council member (formerly Champion of the Dark Side) are Sith Lords given undisputed leadership over a Sphere of Influence within the Ordere. Positions include, but are not limited to;
  • Military
  • Ancient Knowledge
  • Philosophy
  • Technology
Members of the Dark Council wield considerable power within the faction and are able to lead without question. They can command Sith Lords with impunity and can only have their commands overruled by the Dark Lord. Within their sphere of influence, each councilor need not explain themselves to their fellow council members.

The Dark Lord of the Sith / The Eternal
As tradition dictates, The Dark Lord of the Sith is one of the most powerful Dark Side users in the Galaxy. As a role held by the most powerful, The Dark Lord is to be considered the de facto leader of Sith Order. The current Dark Lord is also The Eternal.

BIOGRAPHY
The life of a droid is one of servitude, and compliance. For BWT-2424 no memories of his former occupations or services exist within his programmed memory banks--though his service record within the Blackwell archives states he was purchased as a refurbished IG-89 Bounty Droid, during a contract deal between Blackwell and Holowan Mechanicals.

Assigned with the operational identifier of 2424, this droid was assigned and re-programmed for loyalty to the Blackwell corporate team and business. His personality and data metrics are stored with the history of Blackwell corporate policies, rulings, and various forms of economic policy and law from major government institutions that Blackwell does business in.

With an expertise in operational compliance, 2424 was assigned to the Intercompany Auditing Team, which sends units to observe and aide on the field contracts and jobs--in which the units analyze and study the efficiency of Blackwell Corporate Policy being followed by operators and other employees. With his homicidal programming, and a knack for combat efficiency, 2424 is a prime enforcer of company policy across the stars.

Personality
Like most droids, 2424 can be pretty annoying to most organics. His personality matrix is somewhat stunted, and he has a hard time reading sarcasm from organics that he deals with. Programmed with the upmost loyalty to Blackwell, he will do anything they require, and will often praise the company any chance he can get.

With an extensive knowledge in compliance, government regulations, and business practices, 2424 is always looking for slip ups among organic operators within the business. He will often criticize practices or spout regulatory information to those around him, to justify his actions. 2424 takes personal enjoyment and satisfaction when bringing compliance of Blackwell corporate policy--some may say a little too much.
