Upper levels, Axxila

Chapter 1:

Son of the princely Altaris family, Jaikus was born on the Outer Rim world of Axxila during the Force Eternal Era. Like most children of noble birth, Jaikus was scion to a life of excess, surrounded by the glittering skyscrapers and opulent wealth that permeated the upper echelons of Axxilan society - a lifestyle that stood in sharp contrast to the crime and poverty-stricken masses of the ecumenopolis world. Surrounded by a large and loving family, Jaikus was raised within the confines of his family estate - enjoying a happy and wantless childhood. As a youth, the Axxilan developed a thrill-seeking and adventurous nature - often manifesting in frequent voyagers into the Lower Levels with his siblings.

Despite the happy life they led, there existed a far darker reality behind closed doors. For generations, the Altaris family had served as loyal members of the Sith Eternal cult. Their immense wealth and influence on Axxila - including their ties to its organized crime syndicate - were utilized as tools to funnel credits to and further the goals of the Order while operating within the civilized Galaxy. As a result, Jaikus was indoctrinated into the ideology of the Sith from birth - instilled with a sense of loyalty to the Eternal and its vision for the Galaxy.

Even still, as the second-youngest child, Jaikus was spared from the heavy responsibilities carried by his older siblings - given his low position on the line of succession to the family title and enterprise. This fact, combined with his frequent excursions beyond the gilded surface of his homeworld, allowed Jaikus to develop a far more down-to-earth and realistic view of the world - at least when compared to many of his noble counterparts. By virtue of his birth, Jaikus was gifted with the finest private education that credits could afford - indulging a keen intelligence and thirst for knowledge - particularly on matters of ancient Sith history and archaeology - that had developed within the Axxilan since early childhood. It was largely believed that he would serve within Axxila’s corrupt bureaucracy - spreading the influence of his family while patiently awaiting the return of the Sith.

This was, however, was radically altered upon the discovery of Jaikus’ Force sensitivity - first within his family in living memory. Manifesting in the Axxilan’s early teens, Jaikus was thus immediately loaded onto a shuttle and sent into the Unknown Regions - separated from his family in order to begin his training as an Acolyte and proper member of the Sith. A poor soldier, Jaikus instead found his niche within the realms of intelligence and intrigue - conducting acts of sabotage and political assassination on behalf of the Eternal. His exploits eventually led to the Axxilan’s promotion to Champion.

Despite his success and growing strength, Jaikus was helpless to prevent the day that tragedy befell his family. Upon the Sith’s return to the civilized Galaxy, Axxila was thrust into a bitter Civil war - noble families split between supporting the Sith and joining the Free Worlds Alliance. As loyal members of the Eternal, the Altaris family poured their own wealth and resources into the conflict - fighting bitterly to bring the planet to heel. While eventually successful, their victory did not come without a cost. Having expended a great deal of their wealth and private security during the fighting, the Altaris’ were left vulnerable when pro-FWA rebels - armed and funded by rivaling noble families - invaded their family estate. It was during this struggle that both of Jaikus’ parents and his siblings - save for one - were murdered in cold blood, while their remaining wealth and assets were seized by rival families within the Axxilan aristocracy.

Despite his continued service within the Sith and years of mourning, Jaikus never allowed himself to forget the tragedy that befell his family - nor the price of their blind, fanatical loyalty. It forever wounded the Axxilan’s own faith in the Sith Eternal - and instilled him with a growing sense of loyalty solely to himself and the people that he held most dear. A point of view that would come to influence many of Jaikus’ hard choices over the coming years.

Pantora, Outer Rim

Ferrin Sipal was born on the Outer Rim Moon of Pantora, during the Force Eternal Era. Coming from a modest family of bankers, Ferrin’s youngest years were relatively idyllic and uneventful - surrounded by his multitudes of siblings and extended family, separated from the wars that consumed the rest of the Galaxy. At a young age, he was granted the golden facial tattoos in the tradition of most Pantorans - signifying his familial clan. Unfortunately, Ferrin’s idyllic childhood did not last.

He was only ten years old when Pirates under the Hutt Banner tore through his small city - taking hostages back to sell as slaves in Syndicate territory. Ferrin and most of his family were taken during the raid, separated onto different transports and stolen from their home on Pantora. It was the last time Ferrin saw any of his siblings or parents, and has left the Pantoran to wonder if they are alive or in chains.

Before Ferrin could be sold into slavery, the transport that had taken him from Pantora was intercepted by a Jedi convoy - conducting an anti-slavery sting. It was during this time that Ferrin’s Force Sensitivity was discovered by the Jedi who’d freed them. Without a guardian or family to return to, Ferrin was taken back to the Jedi Temple - inducted into the Jedi Order to begin his training.

Years have passed since Ferrin was brought to the Jedi temple, and recently evacuated from Yavin during the Sith attack. While he has since continued his training as a Padawan, his past has never quite left him. Ferrin harbors a deep resentment towards the Hutts and any who are involved in the slave trade, and hopes to one way pinpoint the whereabouts of his family.

Zayn Talis was born on the Core-World of Corellia during the Force Eternal Era, growing up within Coronet City’s poorer districts. The youngest of three older brothers, Zayn had a modest but happy childhood - spending the majority of his upbringing living within the two-bedroom apartment that his family called home. While their father worked on one of the planet’s many shipyards, Zayn and his siblings helped to care for their mother, an accident early in the boy's life leaving her paralyzed from the waist down.

From a young age, Zayn developed a passion for mechanics - often spending hours on end tinkering with whatever spare parts or junk tech he could get his hands on. Perhaps the crowning achievement of his tinkering was an old BG-series found by one of his brothers, which by some miracle or luck Zayn managed to get working again - remaining a companion to the boy to this day.

It wasn’t until the age of thirteen that Zayn began to manifest his latent Force Sensitivity - the newfound abilities coming as a complete shock to the rest of his family. Despite their surprise, Zayn’s family were fully supportive of the boy - presenting Zayn with the opportunity to join the Order. Seeing it as a chance to leave Corellia and gain a better understanding of his new abilities, Zayn eventually decided to join the Jedi Order.

Bidding his family goodbye, he soon found himself at the Jedi Temple on Yavin IV, and has since spent the past several years dedicating himself fully to his training.

The Seeds of Influence

The future of the Sith Order remains uncertain. Suffering exile from Imperial Territory, the Order has been stripped of its former assets and vast influence across the Galaxy - forced to regroup and lick their wounds. With enemies on all fronts, they must now work to rebuild from the ground up - or continue to flounder into obscurity.

Secure within the reclaimed Fortress Vader, Darth Tempest has resolved to take action. Sending missives and issuing commands to her remaining followers, the Dark Lord has devised a series of missions to spread Sith influence into strategic positions across the Galaxy. Once complete, these holdings will provide the Sith Order with a steady stream of income and resources, and will enable further expansion into the future.

Similar missives have been sent across the Dark HoloNet and underworld channels, inviting mercenaries and independent agents to assist the Order for profit.

Mission #1 — Into The Viper's Nest - Vulpter [Ask]

Eclipsed only by Blackwell and Czerka, Arakyd Industries is one of the most powerful Droid Manufacturers in the Galaxy - famous for their production of the Viper-series probes, among others. In need of discreet business partners, it is beyond time that the Sith Order works to expand its influence into the megacorporation. A regional manager - Alaric Namos - has been identified as sympathetic to our cause.

By any means necessary, remove his superiors and pave the way for Namos’ ascension to the Board of Directors. Success will ensure our own voice within the management of Arakyd, capable of funneling resources to our cause.

Mission #2 — Head In The Clouds - Bespin [Ask]

Despite its strategic value, Bespin has suffered heavily since the outbreak of the Imperial-ISC conflict. A brief blockade by the Consortium caused the sale of Tibanna and markets to plummet, contributing to the chaos of Imperial withdrawal from government. Dozens of companies were driven out of business, and in their place have arisen multiple criminal gangs - eager to siphon the Tibanna and sell it in defiance of Galactic Senate sanctions.

The Sith are encouraged to make their break into the Tibanna market - ensuring a steady supply of this resource for years to come. Whether through legitimate means or by seizing control of the illicit market, the method does not matter. It is heavily encouraged to keep any connection to the Sith Order a closely guarded secret.

Mission #3 — A Little Rusty, But It'll Do - Amorris Drive Yards [Ask]

For centuries, the Amorris Drive Yards have been a hotbed of illicit shipbuilding within the Galaxy. The recent collapse of the Free Worlds Alliance has only further eroded oversight within the region - opening the door for the Sith Order to expand its influence into the asteroid belt. Located at the far edge of the system, Sith and their allies are encouraged to locate an abandoned droid factory - built into one of the barren planetoids. Previously operated by Hoar Chall Engineering, the bulk of the facility is subterranean - expanding into a network of tunnels and caverns that have been converted for Droid production.

Curiously, the factory is still operated by CIS-aged battle droids who failed to shut down after the Clone Wars, and continue to protect against 'Republic tyranny' over a century later.

Whether through technological prowess or brute force, bring the facility and its ‘defenders’ until Sith control, so production might continue under our oversight.

Tanaab, Inner Rim

Andros Sahin was born on the Inner Rim World of Tanaab during the Force Eternal era, growing up within an agricultural village in the countryside. The son of an Orcolan father and Mirialan mother, Andros was raised within a multicultural household - enjoying a peaceful and happy childhood alongside his older siblings. From a young age, Sahin developed a love of the outdoors - something he maintains to this day.

While the other members of his family pursued the family tradition or agriculture or military careers with the FWA, Sahin was identified as Force-sensitive at a young age. The discovery came as a complete surprise to the other members of his family, as the only one amongst them to manifest such abilities.

Albeit with heavy reluctance, Sahin’s family eventually agreed to sent the boy to the Jedi - knowing it was the best opportunity for their son to understand his abilities and make the most of them. Joining the Jedi at a young age, Sahin eagerly threw himself into his new life on Yavin - dedicated to the training and philosophies of the Order - while making sparse visits back to Tanaab.

Years have passed, and Sahin has since risen to the rank of Padawan - continuing to train and serve the Order throughout the course of the war.

Concord Dawn, Mandalorian Space

Raya Kryze was born on the planet of Concord Dawn during the Force Eternal Era. The daughter of a proud Mandalorian, Raya had a largely uneventful childhood within the small settlement that her family called home. Like the rest of her kin, she was raised to conform to the traditions and religion of her people, and still maintained a strict adherence to those principles. Growing up, Raya developed an affinity as a pilot - growing into a passion for flying and repairing the Fang-class starfighters frequently used by her people.

Alongside her brother Beau, Raya operated as a Journeyman Protector on Concord Dawn for a time - serving as a member of the lawmen that patrolled their home star system. Her uneventful life changed during an unexpected outbreak of the AMS virus devasted her settlement and left her and her brother homeless - forced to seek out work elsewhere.

Since leaving Concord Dawn, Raya has served as a Bounty Hunter and Mandalorian warrior - frequently finding work throughout the galaxy. Despite her travels, Raya still keeps in close contact with her brother and frequently returns to Mandalorian space - still maintaining a loyalty to her Clan and people above all else.

Jayna Thorne was born on the Inner Rim world of Thyferra during the Force Eternal Era. The daughter of infamous President Emryc Thorne and his husband Jaikus Thorne, Jayna was raised at the peak of luxury. Alongside her twin brother Ezra, she had never known a day’s struggle in her entire life - used to the privileged, pampered upbringing afforded by her parents wealth and social status.

Seemingly since birth, Jayna has been surrounded by the highest echelons of society. Her social circles have always consisted of royalty, the children of diplomats and those of celebrities - and she had never made any attempt to escape from her bubble. As the daughter of the President, Jayna is accustomed to people attempting to befriend her strictly due to her name - and has gradually developed a somewhat cold, closed off personality towards strangers. Vahliri Kahtal was born on the Mid Rim planet of Indupar, during the Force Eternal Era. The only daughter of an Induparan noblewoman and her Annfyn Paramour, Vahliri spent the formative years raised alongside her three older brothers - growing up within the waterside villa that her family had called home for generations.

Surrounded by all the wealth indicative of her heritage, Vahliri experienced a sheltered and exceptionally privileged childhood - educated by private tutors and groomed from a young age to assume the role of the traditional noble. Unsatisfied with the predetermined course of her life and desiring her own freedom, Vahliri gradually began to develop a rebellious streak as she grew into a teenager, one that - combined with the half-Annfyn’s pugnacious temperament - often put her in open conflict with her mother.

As a result, for much of her childhood, Vahliri secluded herself within the confines of her familial estate. It was during this period of seclusion that the girl discovered her own latent Force Sensitivity - a ‘condition’ kept secret from everyone but her immediate family, out of fear of the scandal that it might cause.

Despite keeping her abilities a closely-guarded secret, Vahliri saw her Force sensitivity as an opportunity to achieve the freedom she had always desired. As tensions only continued to escalate with her mother, a plan was developed for the half-Annfyn to be shipped off to the Sith Academy on Dromund Kaas. While hesitant, Vahliri’s mother eventually agreed to the proposal - seeing it as the best opportunity for the advancement of her offspring, while more importantly removing her rebellious and destructive daughter from causing scandal amongst court politics.

For years now, Vahliri has lived under the tutelage of the Sith Empire - working diligently to train her latent Force abilities as she sets out on the path to advance through the ranks of the Order.

VAHLIRI KAHTAL'S SITH ROBES

Custom designed by Vahliri Kahtal, this set of red-and-black robes were made to be worn during her official duties as a Sith Champion - incorporating her own stylistic preferences and designed to allow for maximum maneuverability.

The robes are woven from blended durasilks with a complete armorweave underlay - utilizing high-quality materials while not compromising on protection from shrapnel and other unpowered weaponry. They are fitted with a segmented, armorplast cuirass over the chest and abdomen - as well as additional plating on the lower legs - for ablation, and with the capacity to be replaced when needed. Durasteel vambraces protect the tops of the hands and forearms, while rancor-leather gloves cover the hands. A utility belt is typically worn with the robes.

The accompanying half-cape and hood are woven from the same material and trimmed in ur-Kittât script, serving purely aesthetic - rather than functional - purposes.

EZTech ("EasyTech") is a startup corporation founded by Ezra Thorne, son of ISC President Emryc Thorne and Atlos founder Jaikus Thorne. EZTech is very new in the industry and specializes in innovative solutions for public use. The unique factor is that EZTech is marketed as a pro Jedi company with Ezra Thorne, its founder, as a Jedi himself.

The vast amount of the proceeds of this company will go to the Jedi Order, the second chunk to pay for R&D and employees and lastly, Ezra Thorne will give himself a modest, fixed base salary.

History

EZTech was founded when Ezra Thorne decided that he was not suited to be a Jedi in the traditional sense. Inspired by how the Empire had reinvented itself, he sought to do the same by contributing to the Jedi Order and bringing it positive support through means that would resonate with citizens across the galaxy. His hope is that EZTech becomes a known Jedi brand and raises awareness of the group to elevate its status across worlds.

EZTech was founded using assets from Ezra's trust fund. He will not be taking it through an investment series to an IPO and plans to maintain it as a privately owned company for as long as possible. This ensures that he has full and ultimate say over the company and its direction.

EZTech products will be designed for everyday use and focused on innovation and modernization.

Hailing from the picturesque world of Naboo, Cyrus was born into the prestigious House of Veruna. The first years of life were happy and carefree - surrounded by his family, courtiers and all the privileges of their royal pedigree. As one could expect, Cyrus was afforded the finest education and tutors that credits could afford, cultivating a voracious appetite for learning that would follow him throughout his life.

Fate, however, would not be kind to the House of Veruna.

The unexpected death of his mother shattered the unity of his family unit - and only served to precede the string of disasters that were to follow. Wrought with grief, the frequent gambling and eventual mistresses of his father had driven their branch of the family to the brink of poverty, leaving Cyrus and his siblings with only the modest, lakeside home they had inherited through their mother.

While his cousins graced the royal court of Theed and vied for political office, Cyrus and his immediate family were sequestered to the far edges of aristocratic circles - largely ignored for the shame they’d brought onto the Veruna name. It was this very loss in station - incompatible with his own sense of self-worth - that drove Cyrus’ resentment towards his father, breaking down what little remained of their relationship.

Left to his own devices, Cyrus made sport out of rebellion and quarreling with his father at every opportunity. The discovery of his own Force Sensitivity - manifesting as visions and seizures beyond his own control - was kept a closely-guarded secret, and drove him to collect any information he could regarding the histories of the Sith and Jedi.

Cyrus’ life would drastically change following his age of majority. Following a speeder accident that had been ‘mysteriously’ swept under the rug, Cyrus’ father arranged for his rebellious son to be educated on the Consortium capital of Christophsis, with none-too-discreet instructions not to return to Naboo.

Seizing his fate into his own hands, Cyrus commended the family transport and charted his own course away from Consortium space. Searching the galaxy in self-imposed exile, he eventually came across the hidden Sith Order of his studies.

Seeing an opportunity to rise above the disgraced status of his family, Cyrus charted his course of Umbara and hasn’t looked back since.

Gladiatorial Arena, Rattatak

Hatched during the Force Eternal Era, Zakkar Tesis was born amidst the smoldering craters and lava plains of Barab I - though he has no recollection of his ‘homeworld’. At a young age, the youngling was poached from the protection of his nest and clan, taken captive by a band of Rattataki raiders who had arrived on the Reptilian world.

Some of Zakkar’s earliest memories are of service to his new masters - used for menial labor and admired due to his exotic appearance.
As the Barabel grew, however, his captors came to realize that the youngling was far move useful as a contender within numerous gladiatorial arenas of Rattatak. Forced into child fighting rings, Zakkar had his first proper match in the pits at the age of 16. Superior size and resilience physiology afforded the Barabel multiple successes, generating a steady stream of income for his masters.

For years, Zakkar’s life revolves around the Pits. Success was rewarded with the finest luxuries that Rattatak had to offer - access every vice and pleasure he could dream of. Failure left its mark in the multiple scars that marked his body. Even as his planet changed regimes and governments, the gladiatorial culture of Rattatak was never truly forgotten - and Zakkar saw little opportunity for change in his circumstances.

Change, however, would come for the young Barabel.

Completely unaware of his latent Force-sensitivity, Zakkar would first manifest his abilities during his time in the arena - capturing the attention of a Sith Champion observing from the stands. Hours later, Zakkar was informed that his masters had been ‘persuaded’ to sell his freedom to the mysterious Sith, though the Barabel never heard from the Rattataki ever again. He was given a choice - to blindly make his own way through the Galaxy, or to refine the gift he barely understood.

It was no choice at all.

A T L O S (short for "Atlos Labratories") is an intergalactic conglomerate run by the heirs to House Nalju on Serenno. The company operates primarily in starship manufacturing, as the Naljus are known as famous shipwrights, but has also branched out into military-grade weaponry, armor, and cloning technology.

Currently, NalTech is smaller than competitors such as Kuat Drive Yards (KDY) and Blackwell Technologies (BT). This is owed to a lack of access to larger shipyards, such as those found on Kuat and Fondor, and a recent corporate scandal that saw hopeful competitors stage a corporate takeover of the company, executing its previous chair and most of his family. However, the company has recently set its sights on expanding its ventures and horizons.

History

Nalju Technologies was initially formed during the High Republic Era as Nalju Steel by Meraxes Nalju, then the head of a small merchant family on Serenno. Through a series of questionable deals with the Serenno government, Meraxes was able to corner the planet's durasteel industry and drive his competitors out of business. As the company grew, Meraxes put his training as a shipwright to use, evolving the company into a ship manufacturer that used newly acquired durasteel to produce protective fighters for the Serenno Defense Forces.

During the Great Hyperspace Disaster, Serenno contracted Meraxes' corporation to further fortify the planet's defenses against potential attacks by the Nihil marauders. These contracts grossly enriched the Nalju merchant clan, who rebranded themselves as House Nalju and were officially recognized by the Count of Serenno as the planet's newest noble family for their contributions to its defense. Likewise, Nalju Steel rebranded itself into NalTech and began expanding into a variety of military technologies.

Centuries later, Nalju Technologies sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems when Serenno fell under the leadership of Count Dooku, secretly Darth Tyrannus. The company created a subsidiary to assist the Trade Federation and Commerce Guilds in the production of battle droids for the Separatist war effort. When Dooku lost the Clone Wars, NalTech narrowly avoided destruction under the new Galactic Empire by agreeing to manufacture arms and ships for the newly crowned Emperor Palpatine.

NalTech was one of many arms corporations who sold to both sides of the First Order-Resistance conflict. And when Palpatine was defeated again, they sought to fill a gap left in the galactic economy by the Kaminoans by investigating cloning technology, though this subsidiary never quite took off and officially was closed down before the emergence of a new Sith Empire from the Unknown Regions.
Structure

Nalju Technologies produces arms and equipment for smaller planetary militias under its own name. Its products are mostly designed for planetary defense forces rather than average citizens. It also possesses a number of subsidiaries with their own unique structures for more specialized projects, though the Chair of NalTech's board can pool resources and join them for projects if necessary.

Subsidiaries

NalTomation (short for "Nalju Automation") was formed during the Clone Wars and deals mainly in droid technology, including battle droids for small planetary militias and legal droid upgrades that can assist in customizing its droid projects. It also has a limited line of protocol droids and astromechs.

NalShips (short for "Nalju Shipwrights") was the first subsidiary of the original Nalju Steel and mainly produces customized starships. Though it originally was formed to create starfighters and other small ordinance ships for planetary navies, these days, it mainly takes custom orders for wealthy and private individuals looking to travel the galaxy in style.

NR&D (short for "Nalju Research & Development) is the science division of Nalju Technologies, responsible for researching all of its major technological products. The mega-corporation's failed cloning subsidiary was folded into this division sometime after the Battle of Exegol, though research into cloning continues under wraps at NR&D.

Nalju Technologies also has a small subsidiary that handles the shipping of its products through freighters and the occasional smuggler when necessary.
