"I knew it." Muttered the Rodian. "You two are agents of the Empire, aren't you? Look...I think you mean well, but I don't want to get caught in the crossfire of your war. Did you see what Onderon did to the academy on Dromund Kaas? I do not want to see my family and friend's homes, school- anything -get destroyed for who we stand with." The Rodian looked from his councilmembers to who all seemed to agree with him.

"We appreciate what you have done, but can you offer our people peace if we join you?" Everyone's gaze was on the two Sith. "Yes." Malus said simply. "How?" Inquired Mythra. "Unknown to the galaxy, your allegiance will be. Many masks, I have, yes. Many more the Empire has." It was a simple, yet intuitive piece of input. They would all know what that meant. As far as military protection went, the troops would come in smaller bits, platoon by platoon maybe, disguised as simple pirates or mercenaries. But, they would all be on confidential assignments to serve the Empire on Ambria.

"Then we will have a vote; All in favor?" Mythra rose her hand along with three other councilmen- including the Rodian, albeit embarrassedly. "It looks like we have a majority. It has been a pleasure." Mythra excused the two. Malus knew there was still much work to be done. First off, they needed a discreet way to ship the Imperials over without drawing any attention. That would be hard with the planets that sat in between Ambria and the rest of the Empire. These things would have to discussed and actually taken out to see if the plans work.

As expected, the Rodian was being an issue with their alignment, but the cat was out of the bag either way. She began to feel worry that all was at a loss just because of this slimy politician, but she had other plans if things got handsy.

Malus then answered her intentions for her as he and Mythra spoke. “Either way. The Empire will protect you. Our people will make great strides to have trade and diplomacy in this planet. I myself think the resources here will be of great use. Your planet will most certainly not be forgotten.” Cassandra stated. She didn’t really mind whether the planet was publicly Sith or not, just that she could gain access to it and expand her political and economic grip, making sure her ambitions are fed as well as any objectives of knowledge and Inquisition could be aided via the planet.

Something that continued to bother Malus that he hadn't let anyone notice, was his disdain for Cassandra's push to make the planet openly Sith affiliated. Logistically speaking, it was a bad idea. Onderon was obviously not afraid to strike back at the Empire and Ambria was far too deindustrialized, populated, or strong enough to deal with something like that. Pride would Cassandra's downfall if left unchecked, but that was why Malus was with her.

Patience, Cassandra. Temper yourself. Secret forever, this will not be, yes. Wait for the right time we should. Onderon is our target. The target of Onderon, we should not be. It was a simple explanation, but hopefully it got through to Cassandra. The Untamed and Delta squad was going to pay for their insolence. The destruction of the academy did not go unnoticed, and taking this planet would allow them to strike back with equal force. Cassian Graves did not deserve to gloat of his petty triumph. Destroying a military base was one thing, but leveling a school to nothing but rubble was something else entirely.

Malus still liked to believe that there was honor amongst the Sith.

Cassandra was frustrated. A secret planet would just let the FWA walk straight in, and they could be immediately betrayed if Mythra felt like it or the damn Rodian wanted to be a problem. If the FWA tries to walk into this planet then they could suade Mythra and she may betray us, especially with that idiot of a Rodian breathing down her neck. The time won't be for a while until we strike at Onderon itself. I have ambitions on other worlds and systems... Think about the peace the Sith and Republic are trying to establish. Let that go through in the higher-ups..

If she were to try to petition for a counter-attack, the Sith negotiations with the Republic might be hampered since they still have ties with the FWA. Patience with this was true indeed, but they needed aggressive diplomacy, not hiding in the shadows in cases where they can be countered.

The deals have already been set. Let's stop arguing and move on

Malus found Cassandra's lack of faith disturbing. This whole operation was his idea, but Cassandra seemed to think it was hers. But, Malus had to remind himself that this wouldn't have been possible if Cassandra hadn't assisted him. She spoke true, however, about the FWA. If the council felt pressured to leave the Sith, Malus and Cassandra would simply become the council themselves. If removing Mythra and her Rodian friend meant another planet to serve the Empire, then it would be worth it.

The Rodian, no longer a problem he will be. Mythra, use her we shall. Sway the minds of others, I have practiced. This was followed by a small grin and a slight chuckle from Malus. Ambitions on other worlds? Help, may I? To return the favor, hrm? The little Sith reminded himself to be grateful for Cassandra's sacrifice to join him here. He would do the same for her elsewhere if the time warranted. However, his focus changed to Mythra, who had come to join the two.

"We have discussed whether or not we will go public as affiliating ourselves with the Empire." Malus could immediately sense her distraught. She did not want to go public- but she would. Those puppet strings were still attached and before Mythra could say another word, Malus had already invaded her mind, influencing her to think twice about what she was about to say.
"We...we...we decided...to...to openly join the...the Empire. Yes. We have decided to openly join the Empire." The second time Mythra spoke was with much more confidence than the hesitancy she had originally spoken with.

"Glad, we are. Prosperous, your planet shall become, hrm?" Malus congratulated the Twi'lek. Cassandra, take care of her council, we shall. Become her advisors, we could. Take this planet from under her nose, yes?

Cassandra had both the same and different motives in mind. Ambition burned through her ideas but also she emphasized loyalty to the extreme. Any divergence from loyalty and Sith Doctrine would mean answering to the Inquisitors whether anyone liked it or not.

You have earned my respect. If I have any further missions I of course will invite you to them if it is permitted. The seeds of submission have been planted now... she thought as Mythra would directly speak to them. She had succeeded with Malus on the manipulation of the political body on Ambria. This excited her as she gained confidence in her own abilities. Whether there would be doubt to push her against it, Malus would remove the doubt and push towards joining the Empire, exactly as planned. Anyone opposed to the idea would likely meet with the ISB after this to be weeded out.

Mythra is the perfect suspectible puppet. Let her do the work for us especially once she is completely under our influence and doctrine. The council will be sorted out of any of the non-hecklers. I can assure you that...

The deed was most certainly done none. The majority of the work was now to be done by the seeds they planted mentally.

Ambria now belonged to the Sith Empire and Malus felt nothing but pride. The two Sith had persuaded and gained quite the foothold on the Sith-historical planet. Now that Mythra would have no problem with the Empire on her planet, Malus could search for the last remenants of Darth Bane, namely his lightsaber.

Perhaps there was a great mystery that could be uncovered through finding the kyber crystal within the saber. Malus wasn't sure, but he was keen on finding the ancient relic of the Sith nonetheless. And with Cassandra, that was now possible. Now much more was possible. Ambria was a backwater planet that wouldn't draw much suspicion from Onderon, but when the time was right, Cassian Grave would be forced to witness the bombing of his own home.
