Trident Alley Crossing, Coruscant Lower Levels / Underbelly, Local Time - 21:47 PM

Coruscant underbelly has always been a fascinating place to visit, for the pure amount of seediness and unsavory characters instills a certain aura of excitement and unpredictability. Valentine has accordingly fed on these emotional highs, granting focus and stability. It had been several weeks since the New Imperial Order banished the Sith from their ranks, forcing all remaining members to scatter into the voids of darkness. Despite the apparent struggles, Valentine had full confidence in their new Dark Lord and so began his journey of helping her rebuild the Order.

As
Valentine was not present during the ill-fated meeting on Junction, he still retained his bled saber however many others did not. And so when an opportunity to rebuild armaments was afforded, the champion didn't hesitate in taking it. Another joy would be of course to work with another child of the dark side; Valentine heard stories of this acolyte, but never had a chance to meet her. Venturing off world, he was garbed in his distinct white colored Sith Robes, eyes peering beneath the porcelain mask. He relayed coordinates to his accomplice, while he slowly walked through a desolate alleyway until reaching what appeared as an empty vendor stall.

Reaching underneath the cart,
Valentine removed a large black duffel bag and unzipped it quietly. Fingers pulled out what appeared as a silver dagger, gloved fingertips tracing over the edge of the weapon and softly grazed against the tip, seeing how sharp it had been made. "Nice.." He spoke quietly, for the few moments longer, simply admired the craftsmanship.

It was not that Nova minded solitude, but the recent weeks had been...interesting for sure. The schism had done what was necessary for the Sith to grow, yet their Order was scattered and in pieces and a lot of work needed to be done. The last meeting with Cyu was still vividly in her head, yet such rather delightful tasks would probably not cross her schedule now that everything was different...

As Nova hadn't been at the summit on Junction, simply because she hadn't had a ship and had received the call too late, she hadn't lost her own lightsaber, but the majority of them unfortunately had. To say that Nova usually inhibited even the slightest altruistical traits was a lie, but the truth was that they had received orders she knew better than to ignore them. New lightsabers were needed sooner or later and she was convinced they'd run into some idiot Jedi somewhere.

Sith weren't good when it came to cooperations, but now that they were freed of being the Empire's lap dogs, there were still things that worked better through cooperation and so she wasn't all pessimistic about this Champion named Valentine that was with her on the lower levels on Coruscant.

She wasn't too bad with new people, but the fact that he wore a mask irritated her. Those who wear masks usually had something to hide and she had no idea what it was. "Stop that", she silently snapped at her companion as she spotted him taking a dagger and admiring the weapon as if they weren't on a secret mission and had to stay low.

"We need to get going". She was about to start moving again when something shiny caught her attention though. She glanced around and realized no one was watching them for now, so she, too, squatted down and reached for it. As she pulled out something looking like a grenade, a smirk tugged at her lips as she let it vanish into the pockets of her robes before she got back up. "Hmm..okay good call", she admitted reluctantly, but a little amused before she really started moving again.

"Any ideas where we could run into our prey?", she asked him after a moment, her voice lowered to a whisper as she didn't want anyone to eavesdrop while they were moving through the dark, shady alleys. It was actually a fitting place to be in, but the scent that lingered in the air simply wasn't pleasant. She didn't even want to find out what reeked like that, but she tried to avoid breathing in more than necessary.

Valentine remained unaffected as Nova snapped at him, chuckling lightly before slowly putting the dagger away into its scabbard on his belt. "My apologies....years of blacksmithing on Korriban has lend me to admire crafted weaponry more so than others.." He said, while taking out another dagger from the duffel bag and handing it handle first towards Nora. "Here, I had one made for you as well. The absence of a red glow will serve us better, allow us to use the shadows to our advantage."

Valentine
moved slowly towards the edge of the alleyway, bringing up what appeared as a small navipad and a loaded map onto it. The holgram pinged with a few alerts, "I prepared an algorithm code to detect current waves of police activity, I'm sure our Jedi friends should arrive at one of those locations soon enough. Which one do you think seems the closest?" He asked.

Unknown to them, one Coruscant Police Guard was sneaking up on them from behind and before either of them knew, a pistol was trained onto Nova's back.

"Hey! What are you doing with those weapons?!"

Blacksmithing on KoKorriban? She accepted the other dagger with a nod before a little smirk crossed her lips. "I had no idea you were a craftsman" she then replied, voice still lowered before the duo began moving again. He was right about the dagger though. Such a simple tool was much less dramatic and wouldn't even give them away as what they were.

"Oh...that should come in handy" she remarked at his comment, realizing that he was apparently not only an ex-smith but also a capable coder, which surprised her rather positively. She still wasn't sure whether they'd be lucky enough to run into a group of Jedi they could ambush easily, as they usually moved in packs, didn't they?

There was suddenly a tingling sensation on her neck that unsettled her, and as she spun around, they were already facing a police officer who was apparently eager to bust some criminals. If this hadn't been Coruscant, she wouldn't have waited a second to find a cruelly agonizing way to kill them, but given the precarious position the Sith found themselves in, even she knew they couldn't allow missteps.

She raised her hands as she turned until hazel eyes were locked with the sole guard, a soft, devilish smirk playing around her lips as she realized that he was indeed alone. There was no other living presence nearby and so without further ado, she reached out with the Force and caught him in a quick stasis that gave her enough time to move out of the line of fire and disarm him by a quick blow directed at his elbow.

The blaster dropped down and she pulled in right into her hands with the Force before flicking the switch on the blaster and firing a stunbolt and the surprised guard who then dropped to the ground. She wasted no time before pulling out the dagger and slitting his throat with a triumphant smirk on her lips. The hot, crimson blood erupted from the wound and ran down the tips of her fingers before she pushed herself back to her feet. She then left the motionless body behind and nodded towards the next alley. "We should get going". Maybe he wasn't alone and as there was a risk for reinforcement, she rather wanted to move to the first possible location. "Why don't we take the spot to the east?" she suggested with a glance back at the map, shrugging as she actually didn't care where they'd go first.
