Biography
Born on Denon to a small family, Amelia did not have a wealthy upbringing like many of the upper-class elites that dominated the beautiful planet. Instead, her mother was a beggar, and her father a worker in the trade-port, paid too little for too much work. Evicted five times in six months at the age of three, she got used to moving, and it barely became a change at all when she had few possessions left at all.

Everything changed at nine. Her mother fell ill and became bedridden with a seemingly incurable disease which only caused her pain and suffering, begging Amelia to let her go an uncountable number of times, but she was resilient and would not give up hope for her mother to simply get better, with the magic that is whispered about by the children, but even then that was just a rumour. Her mother's passing was inevitable, and at the age of 14, she fell into one last slumber.

Amelia had become estranged with her father a year earlier and only saw him once a month at the civil office, when they collected their dole. Life carried on this way for the next few years, with Amelia sleeping rough and taking work where she could, no matter how dark or illegal...

Her life-changing moment came at 17, when her father was shot and killed by a smuggler in the ports - twice to the chest, instantaneous. Amelia had broken down crying, falling to her knees in the middle of the street when she recieved the news. Then, she had ran, ran as far as she could, as fast as she could. She just wanted to get away from it all.

Once alone in an abandoned warehouse, she screamed, tears decorating her face and leaving pure white streaks along her muddy cheeks. As she knelt there, fury and despair raging inside of her, to her surprise, the items around her had begun to rattle and shake, some falling off shelves and a glass jar shattering. It had only lasted a moment, but it was enough to draw the attention of someone who had previously gone unnoticed to Amelia - clad in rags just as she was, and a rough beard covering the lower portion of his face. He had approached Amelia from the opposite end of the warehouse, where he had been hiding. The rough man explained to her that he wasn't there to hurt her, and they got to talking.

The man explained that the universe is a terrible place, and its actions are sometimes beautiful, and sometimes horrific; it is not the purpose of the life that resides within it to simply wait for miracles to happen, but to make their own - to create their own paradise - and that he was a small part in a machine whose parts were turning to create such a place. He, in fact, had been in that very abandoned warehouse to collect a crate supplies for his group. The 'Galactic Alliance', he had called it, and fielded the question of whether Amelia was interested in joining. After everything that she had been through in the past few years, it was hard for her to say no.

For the next few months, Amelia got to know the man’s rebel cell quite well, doing supply runs of everything from emergency food supplies to ammunition. From time to time she would be able to make something shake or move slightly with her mind; something which shook her to the bone every time, and her skills seemed to improve, albeit slowly, over her time with the squad. She formed some great friendships with them, and even rescued a some from a couple of sticky situations here and there.

Eventually, word got around about a girl who was able to move objects with her mind, and that was when a woman in a long robe turned up to ask her to leave the family she had only recently found behind, to join the Jedi.

Personality
Amelia has a vibrant personality, lighting up a room with her smile and bringing out the best in everyone during hard times. An optimist throughout, she is always looking on the bright side of things, with high aspirations for the future. In addition to this, she is confident, not wanting to back down from any confrontation, something which will ultimately come back around, as she fails to see when a situation is irredeemable.

As a result of taking care of her parents growing up, Amelia can be very empatheic towards her friends and actually cares for their wellbeing, not want to see them suffer the same pain she saw in not only her parents, but others in her community aswell.

Amelia was raised to keep her promises, no matter how absurd, as she was taught that you shouldn't make it if you have no intention of honouring it. Conversely, she can be very devious, looking out for technicalitites and loopholes in order to get her own way and circumvent people's expectations of her.

The young Jedi can be quirky and awkward sometimes, appearing to be somewhat obsessed with HoloNet personalities such as Tomaz Nederland, but she embraces who she is and won't change for the world. Once people get to know her better, she opens up and exposes the amazing person she is on the inside who will love and care for her friends and always be there for them, until death do them part.

Does the same on my end to. It's not anything wrong with the link itself (tested it in my workshop and seems fine) so might be a weird interaction with the other code somehow. :thinking:

The bio just ends where she became a Rebel, can you add a couple lines or so about how she became a Jedi Padawan? It's probably that same person who met her at the end of her bio that would bring her to the Jedi, but still. Doesn't need to be anything really elaborate or anything, the bio just ends on how she joined the GA. Once you do that minor edit I'll be happy to approve.

How about the your character shows that's she's a dedicated member to the Rebel cause and then the other person sees her potential as a Jedi and takes her there, or something along those lines. The Jedi are more careful than to let potential members join too quickly, especially if they haven't proven themselves to their cause yet.
