Jalir T'lol's organized crime ring has dispersed and dissipated. T'lol, paranoid to the last, didn't form much leadership in his organization out of fear that they would use their position to form a coup. Between Jalir's capture at the hands of the bounty hunter Kliedden Rexx and the brawler Poffo Sauvage, his failure to build leadership throughout his "empire," and the chaos on Coruscant centering around terrorist attacks at Sector Rangers Headquarters, the associates and hoods that worked for T'lol fled to all parts of the galaxy. Bounties for several of them were posted on the HoloNet bounty boards throughout the known worlds.

Poffo and Klied found themselves chasing one of those known bounties. Treeno Tairo was a Rodian spice dealer that used T'lol's pit fighting events as a backdrop to sell illicit spice. Of course, T'lol provided the protection and took a significant cut. When the first round of bounties started to pop up on the bounty boards, Tairo's name was near the top. Poffo and Klied followed a lead to a rough cantina in The Skids neighborhood of Tyrena on Corellia. Poffo entered in his normal attire- black leather pants and leather vest with a tight white t-shirt underneath. His large, over-the-top sunglasses were topped with a bandana that covered his head. The blurgg blaster he took from one of T'lol's goons was attached at his hip, but Poffo's most efficient and deadly weapons were the brass knuckles he had tucked into his pockets.

Poffo walked in and scanned the dark bar. The sunglasses didn't help, so he took them off as he took a seat with his back to the wall. He had no sight of his target, nor did anyone seem to be particularly alarmed by his presence. Poffo raised the comlink on his wrist to mouth and said to Klied, "I don't see nothing of interest, brother. Maybe another dead end. Just looks like my kind of place, yeah. Why don't you come on in and enjoy the nightlife? You need to loosen up a little anyway, yeah."

The Corellian countryside was pleasant enough for Klied. He thought back to many good memories of hunts there as he absently brushed the golden fur of his dire-cat jacket. But of course their current quarry had led them to the city. That was something he was still getting used to. The bounty hunter stood in a dingy alley, watching the residents of the Skids milling up and down the street outside with obvious disdain. He was fairly certain every single person in Tyrena was talking at once, and it was driving him insane. Why couldn't more targets go hiding in the wild? Why did they always opt to try blending into the crowd.

He got a transmission from his partner telling him he'd had no luck in spotting their mark. Klied and Poffo had been making themselves busy hunting down Jalir T'lol's associates ever since leaving Coruscant. This Treeno Tairo hadn't proven to be as interesting as his last target, but the job needed doing. They still needed to get Poffo initiated after all. Klied was just hoping the slippery Rodian would offer something that resembled a real challenge. T'lol had set the bar fairly high. But Poffo was encouraging him to come inside and loosen up. Klied just sighed and made his way inside the cantina.

He ordered his usual Dorian Quill before finding his partner and sitting down across from him, immediately brooding over his drink. "This guy's a spice dealer right?" He asked Poffo, clearly more interested in tracking their quarry than enjoying himself. "Maybe we should start tailing the local dealers, see if we can find his trail that way..." He took a sip of his drink and scanned over the cantina's patrons. No Rodians that he could see, but the Skids were full of shifty types. Any number of them could be involved in business below the board. Hell, most of them probably were.

The sound of the hyperdrive cutting out brought Aska out of her sleep, her eyes slowly opening to reveal the pounding behind them. Accepting the contract from Boola to smuggle spices to Coruscant seemed a mistake as she pushed herself up, blindly reaching beside her for the pack of cigarras that were carelessly tossed on the floor. The Rodian woman had loaned her a small freighter and a droid pilot for the task in exchange for a heavy cut of the profits as a means for Aska to ‘pay back’ the credits she had ‘stolen’ from her by capturing Kiriena and then proceeding to shoot up her bar on Nar Shaddaa. Not satisfied with the arrangement, Aska attempted for what seemed like hours to pick the lock of the safe containing the narcotics but to no avail. She did, however, find the Rodian’s liquor stash and the trip soon became bearable.

Emerging into the cockpit of the vessel, Aska took a drag off her cigarra as she stared out the view port to the circling world below.

”Kayto, that isn’t Coruscant,” she stated though in pain from her throbbing headache. Not seeing much of the galaxy, she was almost delighted to be returning to a familiar world after the escapade on Onderon but below was a world of greenery though a few cities could be seen glowing on it’s surface.

”It is not, Mistress. Had you been conscious for my Master’s transmission, you would be aware of the change of plans,” the droid replied as it handled the freighter’s controls. It reached out with it’s metallic finger and activated the comm, the holo soon snapping to life with Boola’s face.

”She lives… Did you enjoy yourself?” Boola scolded as she crossed her arms. Aska smirked in response but chose to remain silent. ”Kayto, pour out the remaining liquor on board. I need my employee able to function,” she continued. Though she spoke to the droid, she never moved her glare from Aska.

”Yes, Master. I shall do so immediately,” Standing from the chair, the droid departed to follow out his command.

”Woah woah, can’t I just have one or two more drinks to curb this hangover?” Aska pleaded but Kayto ignored her and was soon gone.

”You have a problem, girl,”

”Yea,” Aska grunted. ”I’m getting sober and it’s awful,”

”Look, we had to change course. Coruscant has been attacked and it’s no longer safe for you to deliver the spices to my client until things cool down,” Boola finally seemed to relax, if only slightly. It was what she said, however, that bought Aska’s full attention.

”Attacked? By who?”

”It’s still unclear. And it’s not important. You still owe me credits so I’ve come up with a different assignment until the capital cools down,”

”Of course you have,” Aska groaned as she leaned back in the co-pilots chair, taking a haul off her cigarra. ”What am I doing now?”

”I had a contact on Coruscant that also owes me a lot of money. He, unfortunately, isn’t as useful as you. His name is Denny Kutanios. A twi’lek gambler that was working as a front for some small time organization in the lower levels. Some bounty hunter managed to capture the head of the group and they splintered. I’ve lost contact with Denny but my sources say he is in hiding on Corellia, the world below you,”

”Corellia, huh? Sounds lovely,” Aska said with sarcasm. ”So I’m just chasing after some gambling debt of yours?”

”You would think so, but no. Denny was shipping weapons for me to this organization. He completed the delivery and then disappeared. Bring me his body or the ten thousand credits he owes me. It makes no difference. I’m transmitting you the information my contact on the surface has provided me. He seems to be hiding in an area known as ‘The Skids’ which is part of the city Tyrena. You should start there,”

”Aye aye, boss,” Aska said with a cocky salute before reaching out to cut the transmission before being interrupted.

”And Aska,” Boola began with a stern glare. ”Please stay sober for once,” With that, the hologram dissipated into nothing and Aska was left alone in the cockpit.

”Bitch…”

Poffo leaned back, put his sunglasses back on, and extended his arms along the back of the semi-circle booth like the cool customer he was. He looked at Klied across the table from him and chuckled. "Damn, Famed Bounty Hunter, slow down...Enjoy life. Why be in such a hurry?" He looked up and smiled in a come-on sort of way to the waitress who asked him for a refill on his big stein of beer. He of course would love a refill, and followed the request with terms like "sweetheart" and the like. He looked back at his partner. "You know, the best way to spook the hoods is to act suspicious, yeah. You know what's suspicious? Tailing the hoods. I got a better idea. It's a great one. Gets us what we need and might even get us what we desire, yeah."

The waitress came back with his beer and flirted with Poffo as she put the drink down on the table. She sauntered back to the bar and to wait on other tables. She knew how to earn a tip with her hips, and she was racking them up. "These hoods, they ain't going anywhere unless we run 'em out of town, ya dig? Why chase the hoods when we can get the hoods to come to us? Instead of working hard, let's play hard, yeah...play hard and the spice dealers will come to us."

Klied looked as serious as ever. Always the professional. Always business. "Besides, you need to lighten up, yeah. All work and no play makes Klied a boring-ass partner. Get drunk. Laugh. Pick up strange women. In passing, ask where you can find a hookup for a real good time. They'll know what you mean. I know these seedy joints. Believe me, the dealers will be coming out of the woodwork for your business, yeah. Comin' out like cockroaches when the lights flip back on. Easy-pickins. And if Tairo isn't one of the cockroaches, one of the cockroaches will know where he is. Trust me...this is my kind of dive."

Klied turned his eyes back to the bar while Poffo flirted with the waitress. Socializing was about the last thing he wanted to do. In all honesty he found chatting up strangers far more terrifying than any life threatening situation he had been in. Alcohol certainly had a way of loosening him up, but, well...

"The last time I got drunk I got in a shootout..." He told Poffo bluntly once the waitress had walked off. "Also pretty sure I killed a guy..." He said thoughtfully as he glanced up at the ceiling. At any rate it wasn't something he was eager to repeat. If they got into too much trouble it could just as easily spook their quarry. Klied didn't agree with Poffo's assessment that following the local dealers would scare them away. Mainly because he was quite confident he could do so without being seen. He had hunted animals with far better senses and never been spotted after all. But for the time being he decided to let his partner play things his way. Poffo was more experienced with how things worked in the city after all. He slammed back the rest of his glass and placed it upside down on the table before standing up.

"Alright, we'll try it your way Mr. Macho. But you're paying for any damages." He may not have been great with people but he did know where his talents did lie. He would make his way over to one corner of the cantina where a few spacers were playing a game of darts. "Looking for someone to make you all look like amateurs?" He asked with a smirk, drawing some scowls and a few chuckles. The hunter extended a hand to be given some darts while the other reached for his wallet. "I'll put down fifty credits saying I can score higher than every single one of you." That got a good laugh, though perhaps his unusual attire helped with that. Klied took it in stride, he'd be the one laughing soon enough. One cocky looking twi'lek stepped forward to accept the challenge.

"Alright cave man, I'll take you up on that offer." He said, and handed Klied the darts. The hunter's smile just grew. He turned to look at some of the patrons that had taken an interest. Among them some women. He winked at one of them, though she just rolled her eyes and turned back to her friends. The hunter paused awkwardly for a moment then prepared to begin the game.

”This sector is rather… unsettling,” Kayto complained as he waddled along behind Aska. Adorning her usual dark green leather jacket with the fabric hood pulled up over the back half of her head, the occasional drop of rain could be felt on the front half of her scalp as she walked at a steady yet casual pace through the street, a cigarra hanging from her lip. Stopping from time to time to pull the tracking fob from her pocket and assess how close her mark was, she turned to face the mechanical companion.

”If I remember correctly, I told you to stay on the ship,” she groaned. The indicator light of the fob was blinking in a much more rapid succession now. She was close…

”You did. And I told you my Master wants me to keep a close eye on you and protect her interests, primarily your sobriety,” Rolling her eyes, Aska took another drag from her cigarra and pointed the tracking fob to a few businesses lining the street. As she did this, she finally found what she wanted. The red light lit up solid as she pointed it directly at a cantina, music echoing out into the street ahead. ”Is Denny located in that establishment?” Kayto asked as he peaked over Aska’s shoulder at the fob.

”I think he is,” Aska replied as she stuffed the fob back into her pocket. Taking one last pull from her cigarra she proceeded to drop it to the ground before softly pressing her foot down on the ember. ”Droids aren’t usually welcome in places like this, Kayto. Stay near the entrance for now and if there are droid servers inside, try and blend in while I look around,” Aska ordered as she moved into the cantina. She had a job to do but if she could shake the droid for a moment, she was definitely getting a drink…

Once inside and away from the rain, Aska reached back with both hands and lowered the hood as she canned the crowd. It wasn’t an overly busy establishment at the moment but the night was young. She needed to locate Kutanios quickly before the bar filled up with the seedier night life. Plus she still needed to figure out how she was going to separate him from any allies he may be partying with… Moving in towards the bar, Aska came to a stop and leaned on the sticky counter with a grimace before pulling back. It didn’t take long before a young human man came to her service.

”What’re ya after?”

”Baraguin Ale,” Aska ordered. ”And a game or two of pazaak if that happens here,”

”No pazaak here tonight. That’s tomorrow. Few guys in the corner shooting darts if that’s something you’d be into,” The bartender replied as he filled her pint, nodding in the direction of the rear of the bar. Glancing over her shoulder, Aska spotted Kayto watching disapprovingly as the drink was placed in front of her. Smirking, she casually crossed her arms and leaned back on to the bar before flipping off her babysitter and then looked over to the dart game. Sure enough, there he was… As well as a face she wasn’t expecting to see so soon…

”Thanks. I’ll start a tab,” Aska said to the bartender before grabbing the glass and slowly making her way towards the group. Keeping her distance, Aska leaned on the wall and waited for her old friend to take notice of her.

Klied surprised Poffo. The brawler was, of course, correct in his assessment that it would be better to get the low-rung spice dealers to come to them rather than vice versa, but that was only part of the reason that Poffo offered this strategy. Klied needed to loosen up, and Sauvage was pleased to see that he quickly found a game of skill, one he would probably be pretty good. Maybe he'd be savvy enough to hustle them with some purposefully poor outings before cranking up the heat.

Poffo wouldn't watch long enough to find out. The ladies down here at the Skids...and being called a lady would be quite generous for most of them, were fast and loose. Many of them were strung out and addicts that would do anything for anyone to get a few credits for their next hit. There were many men that visited the Skids just to find women like that for a cheap time. Poffo had seen it happen a million times in the trashy dives on Coruscant, and he hated it. Poffo couldn't bring himself to take advantage of a woman like that. Besides, they were usually a "four" or lower on the one to ten hotness scale, and Poffo needed at least a 5.5.

So that settled it. Poffo was looking for a woman in control of faculties that was least a five and a half. A solid seven had just torn into some unlucky stud at the bar, presumably a boyfriend. She was older than he was. She looked to be in her late 30's. The guy a strapping young 20-something. She looked like she had money. Poffo figured she was married to some businessman who didn't have time to romance her the way she wanted to be romance. So, she would live dangerously down here at the skids and find a young man fit and dangerous. They were in high supply. Poffo watched with great interest as she tossed the rest of her drink in his face and started to storm away. Poffo hailed her as she was trying to get past his table. "Hey, little lady...You, alright?"

She wheeled around and said, "You shut up. Mind your damn business."

She turned and a took a few steps, but stopped when Poffo said, "Minding is what I'll do. I just figured you might be interested in making that guy feel the sting of jealousy, yeah. But, I'll just shut up and mind my business."

The lady looked at the door then back to the young stag at the bar who was looking at her. She finally slid into the booth and planted a long, hard kiss on Poffo. It happened so fast, it confused Poffo for a moment, but he embraced it. As quickly as she dove in for the kiss, she backed out, stood up, and slapped Sauvage hard across the face. She yelled, "How dare you!" Then she turned back to the guy she was trying to make jealous and yelled to him, "Are you going to let him get away with that?"

Poffo wagged his fingers at the lady and said, "That was a dirty, dirty trick. You're going to get that boy hurt, yeah. Yeah, he stands to get hurt real bad if he tries to defend your honor."

The lady smiled and put a hand on her hip. Poffo looked over at the guy and he was starting to walk over. With a sigh, Sauvage found his waitress and yelled out, "Waitress! I need a shot of your strongest. And maybe some room!"

For all his confidence the twi'lek wasn't particularly good at darts. Klied would be hesitant to even call him middling. The bounty hunter finished off all of his points before his opponent even got under two hundred. He didn't even have to put in all that much effort, which meant the other assembled spacers were still quite eager to go up against him. While the twi'lek wasn't so cocky any more his friends had a great time laughing at his expense. The alien now down fifty credits just cursed in some foreign language and went to sit down at his table while a Duros stepped up and offered to play next.

With a smile Klied let his new opponent go first, meanwhile he'd step back and take a quick look around the cantina. He was pleasantly surprised to spot Aska of all people leaning on a wall not to far away. With an amused chuckle he set down his own darts and approached her. "Well isn't it a small galaxy?" He asked as he offered a hand for a shake. "What the hell are you doing here?" He hadn't seen Aska since their little adventure on Nar Shaddaa some months back. He figured he still owed her a thank you for getting him into bounty hunting.

Unfortunately they wouldn't have much time to talk before an overexaggerated "How dare you!" Drew his attention back to his partner sitting across the cantina. Apparently he wasn't as good with women as he would have Klied believe. "God dammit..." He muttered in annoyance. Wasn't it Poffo that had been worried about spooking their quarry? A bar fight was the last thing they needed.

Watching in silence as Klied continued to dominate the holodart board against her mark, Denny, Aska smirked as she sipped on her pint. Perhaps if the Twi'lek had known he was being challenged by a sharp shot he would have reconsidered the endeavor. Alas, he proved an over confident fool more concerned with trying to make some quick credits and wound up only lightening his pockets. As he handed Klied his payment, the consideration of introducing herself for a quick game crossed her mind but an eager Duros looking for an opportunity to collect from Denny's failure beat her to the punch. It didn't matter, however, as Klied soon spotted her and made his way over.

"Small galaxy, no doubt. I'm surprised you're here at all. I was under the impression you preferred a cave over a cantina," Aska joked as she shook Klied's extended hand. It had been some time since the two encountered one another at Deskar's but she found his company enjoyable. Perhaps he even could be able to lend a hand in her assignment. "Work, unfortunately. I was supposed to be bringing a shipment to Coruscant but I guess thing's are a bit... erratic at the capital," Aska responded before taking a swig of her now nearly empty pint. "My employer rerouted me to collect a debt of her's. That Twi'lek you just walked all over? I'm here to bring him back to Nar Shaddaa," Motioning to the barkeep for another drink, the young man nodded in acknowledgment before Aska turned her attention back to Klied though she casually watched as Denny sunk into a booth in dismay behind a mountain of a man speaking to a woman who definitely stood out of the grimy crowd of the bar. "So what bring's you here? You end up making that 'career switch' we discussed?" Aska queried but the atmosphere of the cantina quickly shifted as a loud slap echoed from the table that contained the monstrous human and his female companion.

"How dare you?!" The words cut through the sounds of music and chatter of the bar, silencing the murmuring voices of the crowd.

"God dammit,"

"Oh, that pile of bantha shit is a friend of yours I take it?" Aska joked, though she was soon interrupted by someone tugging the empty pint glass from her hand. Looking at what she anticipated to be a rather rude server, Aska came face to face with Kayto.

"I'm afraid the keg has run dry, Mistress," the droid spoke sternly. "This isn't developing into an ideal situation for capture of our target. I calculate we have a one in thirty six chance of collecting Kutanois if things here erupt into violence," he continued in a whispered tone.

"I've faced worse odds. Cover the door and make sure he doesn't make a break for it. I want to see how this plays out," Aska whispered over her shoulder to the droid who nodded and walked off. Leaning back over to Klied, Aska gently nudged his ribs with her elbow. "Twenty credits says your pal knocks him out in under ten seconds,"

The youngster stormed his way over, but his walking slowed the closer he approached. Poffo was sitting in a darkened area of the bar, and as the young man got closer, he started to see exactly what he was up against. Unfortunately for him, he was committed and passed the point of no return with out tucking his tail and turning yellow. Poffo leaned back once more in the booth trying to seem as nonthreatening as possible. He had no beef with this guy. His cougar girlfriend was trying to get him beat up for one reason or another. Maybe she liked the attention. Maybe she liked drama. Maybe he deserved it. Poffo didn't care, and he preferred a challenge anyway. This guy didn't appear to be it.

The man finally got to the table and Poffo watched his heart drop out of his stomach. He was a brave one though. "You coming on to my girl, stranger?"

Sauvage turned his head to look at the woman who was now sporting a sadistic smile on her face. "Girl?" He flipped his gaze back to the man. "I'm not sure we're talking about the same feminine entity here, you dig what I'm saying? That there is a fully grown woman, a little long in the tooth for the likes of you anyway, yeah."

The waitress arrived with the shot that Poffo asked for and slid it in front of him. She looked at the situation and said, "No fighting in here." She looked at Poffo and her eyes narrowed. "You look like a couple of tough guys, but we have five guys working here whose job it is to take care of brutes like you. Take it outside." She was including the kid to help him save face, but she was looking and directing the comments at Poffo.

Poffo nodded. He took the shot of liquor and slid it over in front of the young man. "Here you go. I don't know what it is, but if you keep up with this track brother, you're going to need it."

To Poffo's surprise, the man took the shot of liquid courage and downed it quickly. "Alright. We doing this outside then?"

Poffo patted the seat next to him. "Why don't you sit down right here. Let's talk this through. I don't think this has to end with me scraping my knuckles and you getting busted up all over." Poffo draped one hand over the man's shoulder and with the other, he plopped it down hard into a fist right in front of the young man. He jumped. "Oooh, yeah, look at these poor knuckles." Sure enough, they were calloused with the most recent scrapes scabbing over. "We can agree that we don't need to open scrapes back up and start bleeding again, yeah?" Poffo took that calloused, scraped-up hand to remove his sunglasses. He squeezed the shoulder of the man hard and pulled him close so that the two were eye to eye. "And surely we can agree that you don't have to end up like the poor Melbu that was on the receiving end of these fists." He clucked his tongue twice. "Poor soul, he faired a lot worse than my knuckles yeah."

The man swallowed hard and squirmed under the squeeze of his shoulder. "I need another drink." Poffo motioned for the waitress to bring another. "I don't have any choice. There's a code, right? Man to man, there's a code? And she's great in the sa...you know what I mean. That'll get cut off for sure."

The brawler nodded in agreement and let go of the shoulder. "Maybe we could help each other out, yeah." The other shot came in and he slid it over in front of the man who threw it back quickly. "You're from around here right? You know people that know people if I had to guess? A real man of the town, in the know."

He nodded.

"Listen, brother. I'm not from around here. I'm from Curoscant, and I have no contacts to get what I need. I fight for a living, yeah, but I think we can help each other out. What's your name?"

"Colt Gates," he said before looking back at Poffo. "Help each other how?"

"My profession puts me in a lot of pain, yeah. I need some, uh...medicinal...help to ease, it, you dig?"

"You mean spice?"

Poffo shushed him. "Don't talk so loud. It iiiiiiis what it iiiiiiiiis. I heard there's a new certain...Dr. Feelgood...If you will, that can fill my prescription. He's a Rodian that goes by Tairo."

Colt nodded. "Yeah, yeah. I mean, I don't know him directly because he hasn't be on-world very long, but I can tell you where to go. What do I get out of it? You can't just say that you don't pound my face. I can't just walk away."

"Right, right," Poffo said. "You tell me how I can get in touch with Tairo, then you stand up, give a straight right hand to the jaw, and you take your little cougar cat to pound city, yeah."

"You'll let me hit you?" he asked. "And you won't hit me back?"

Poffo leaned in real close and stared intensely at Colt. "If you don't, I guarantee you that I will bust your brains, yeah."

Colt sighed and nodded. "You can get hooked up with the Rodian in speeder lot K-01 after dark when the pit fights start." Colt stood up, and gave a hard right hand to the left cheek of Sauvage. Sauvage sold it well and slumped into the booth as if he was knocked out. Colt walked over to his older lady friend who seemed mightily impressed. She laid into him harder than she did Sauvage and groped him in ways that got him all worked up. They left the bar arm in arm as Poffo pretended to come to. He smirked and ordered another beer.

Klied smirked at Aska's joke. From what little interaction he had had with her before he knew that like him she enjoyed the action of their shared profession. He certainly wouldn't mind hanging around with her more often. What was more, her connections might prove useful to him and his partner, which made him inclined to assist her with her current business. Before they could discuss that anymore however they were interrupted by the woman and Poffo making a scene.

At first Klied thought they were heading straight into another fight, given Poffo's usual demeanor. But surprisingly enough the brawler wrapped an arm around the young kid and started conversing with him instead. That was new. He crossed his arms and watched the two talking for a moment before turning back to Aska, who had just made a joke at his partner's expense. The bounty hunter just grinned. "He's a bit of an acquired taste..." He explained. While his fellow hunter exchanged a quiet word with what he assumed was her droid he looked back at Poffo. He may have been a brawler but he was no idiot. And it was likely Aska hadn't realized that. "Sure I'll take that bet." He said to her slyly, moments before the kid 'knocked out' his partner with a single punch and went back to his girlfriend. I thought you didn't throw fights Poffo? He thought to himself with amusement.

Turning back to Aska wryly he extended his palm expectantly. "But he has his moments." He said, and gestured for her to hand over the promised credits. "Don't worry, I'll pay you back by helping you bring in your mark. Not that I think this is a guy that requires two hunters to bring down." He smiled. "And yes the career switch went very smoothly, aside from a few blaster wounds and broken bones."

Aska's jaw dropped as the young man swung at the gigantic partner of Klied's. She thought that this was, without a doubt, the last thing that boy would do before Muscle Mountain stood and turned him inside out. Clenching her fists in anticipation of the brawl, she quickly realized she had lost her bet with Klied. As the boy walked away with his arm around the aristocratic woman he accompanied, Aska's fists relaxed as her arms began to hang limply at her sides. Grimacing, she dug into her pocket and dropped the credit's into Klied's out stretched hand.

"That was orbak shit and you know it," Aska complained but she still managed to force a slight smirk. She lost the bet but it was her own fault for putting money on the reaction of a man she didn't know. It seemed Muscle Mountain had more control than she had originally surmised and she respected that. "Your help?" Aska laughed. "With that sleemo?" Motioning to the table that Denny had been sitting at, she turned her attention to her target only to realise that he had left the bar during the commotion. "What the..." Without any warning, Aska departed Klied and rushed over to Kayto who had resumed his position by the entrance. "Droid! Where did he go?!" she hissed under her breathe.

"I'm afraid I have no clue, Mistress. I was watching the door as you instructed. Were you not the one who was assigned to watch and capture the Twi'lek?" Droids always were meant to be mono-tone and emotionless. Kayto, however, had a tone that oozed with an 'I told you so' attitude. And he was right. Aska made an incredibly rookie move taking her eyes off Denny and now they were right back where they had started...

Returning to Klied, Aska hung her head slightly in defeat. "I messed up,"

The waitress gave Poffo a sly smile and shook her head. Sauvage gave her a wink back. She responded with a smiling eye roll and checking on other tables. The brawler stood up and located Klied who...why, you clever devil...Klied was getting chummy with a member of the fairer sex. At least, she appeared to be. The lighting was bad, but Poffo was torn between thinking she was hot, sort of boyish, or a degenerate. Being that this was the Skids, there was a solid chance that she was all three.

Poffo stood and rubbed his bearded jaw where he had taken the kid's best shot. Skinny arms. Still stung a little bit. Sauvage made his way over to Klied and the girl that he was trying to pick up, or at least appeared to be. "Ooooooh, yeaaaaah, brother! Going for gold! I like it, I like it a lot, yeah!" Poffo, not opposed to making an ass of himself made several flourishes with his fingers and would bend his knees slightly as he talked sometimes for dramatic effect. "Far be it from me to ruin the mood, yeah, but I got some good news. No, I got some outstanding news. In fact, I would say that the news that I have is magical, yeah. It will turn that little puck to credits. I know where and when to find our mark." Poffo looked at Aska and was very clearly checking her out and giving her a long look over up and down. You know- as if not introducing himself was rude enough. He nodded and turned back to Klied. "Though I understand completely if you want me to take care of our business-business solo while you work on....uh, some stress relief, yeah," Poffo said, patting Klied on the shoulder with a wink.

Klied chuckled softly at Aska's protest before pocketing the credits. He was about to make a reply but it seemed their conversation had allowed her target time to slip away. Aska walked away to speak with her droid once more before returning with a defeated expression. But once again before Klied could say anything his partner burst in in his usual manner.

Poffo's 'introduction' actually left Klied speechless and mouth agape. He glanced at Aska, then back to Poffo. The more the brawler spoke, the more uncomfortable the bounty hunter became, until he was practically red in the face with embarrassment. When Poffo finally finished speaking and placed a hand on his shoulder Klied didn't immediately respond, instead taking a moment to fully comprehend what had just happened before speaking.

Looking at the floor he raised a hand to scratch his head. "Uh... Aska, this is my partner Poffo Sauvage. Poffo, Aska Ryun." He cleared his throat as he looked back at the brawler. "She's a bounty hunter as well. The one I told you about. Who convinced me to join the Guild?" He wasn't exactly sure how Aska would respond to what Poffo had just said, but he had an idea...

As Poffo closed the distance between himself and the pair near the bar, Aska felt the hairs on her neck stand on end. She watched as he eyed her up and down during his advance and prepared herself for some sort of trashy statement, the likes of which she was typically used to from some of the desperate men that would occupy Deskar's back on Nar Shaddaa. Still, no matter how many times she found herself confronted with some sort of degenerate with an inflated opinion of himself and a sleazy comment to accompany their approach, she never once found them welcome. This was no different. The way the man gave her a slow once over was enough to make her stomach turn and she had to force herself to keep from delivering a swift kick to his groin. From personal experience, it didn't matter how large the man was. Hit him where it hurts and he turns into a babbling baby,

"Look at me like that again and I'll gladly gouge your eyes out with a spoon before I feed them to you, sleemo," Aska spat plainly with her hand settled firmly on the butt of her SE-45. While Poffo was a large man by any standards, she had killed larger for less. Hell, the only reason she decided to show any restraint was the fact that he was Klied's companion and he at least had proven to be a decent character in a galaxy of slime. Turning her attention back to the more familiar man, Aska's stare evidently shown irritation by his partner's introduction. "Of all the people in the galaxy, you pick him?" Shaking her head disapprovingly, she turned her stare back to Poffo but evidently continued to speak to Klied. "A Gommorean would be more suitable. Easier to look at, too," Her stare still iced over, Aska spit at Poffo's feet.

"I've stepped back from joining the guild for the time being," Aska finally allowed herself to respond to Klied's introduction. "Our little escapade on Nar Shaddaa has me between a rock and hard place and I've unfortunately got to settle things between Boola and I before I consider moving ahead with that endeavor,"

The brawler grinned as the chick reached and gripped her hand cannon on her hip. Then she spit at his feet. He had already taken a shot to the jaw, so a little spit-shine on his boots was the least of his worries. Most men would back up, but Poffo knew that the last thing you wanted to do with someone who was clearly willing to escalate to blasters- and likely had you outgunned- was to create more distance. No, Poffo wouldn't budge. Plus, he didn't want to give her the satisfaction of thinking she had scared him off. She started rambling about personal problems on Nar Shaddaa, leaving an open question to Klied. Still, shots were fired at him (verbal ones at least) and Poffo had a horrible time not having the last word.

"Before my main man Klied gets back to working his bachelor magic, yeah, let me let you in on the secret of secrets," Poffo said. "You may think you're really hot stuff. You may think that you're hotter than a crate of Sansanna on a stolen pirate ship. But here's the rub, sweetie pie...the fact of the matter iiiiiiiiiii-yus, you ain't my type. Dig it" Poffo waggled his finger at her. "So let me put your mind at ease, sweetheart. I'm here only to support the home team, yeah!"

And with that, he grabbed Klied's shoulder and gave it a hearty shake.

Klied sighed and rubbed his eyes as Poffo continued to speak. As much as he appreciated the brawler having his back in violent situations, he also tended to have a knack for causing them. But no one would be helped by these two beating the crap out of each other, so it was better he try to resolve things now. He looked at Aska.

"Like I said, acquired taste," He started. "But he's good in a fight and reliable. Keeps to his word and does what he says he's gonna do. You and I both know people like that are hard to come by in this line of work." He looked to Poffo as he shrugged the man's hand off his shoulder. "Doesn't mean he can't be a bit of an ass sometimes." He said with a smirk before turning back to Aska. "Look, so long as we're all working on this rock why don't we try working together? I'll show you what I mean. We've both got marks we can help each other bring down. What do you say?"

It might not have been the best idea but having fought with each of them Klied knew that both Poffo and Aska were skilled hunters. One could only imagine how effective the three of them would be working together. Preventing them from shooting each other would be a nice bonus as well.

With every word that oozed out of the Sauvage's mouth, Aska's own lips began to turn downward into a disgusted grimace. It was quite typical of men to have an ego the size of an old Imperial battle station, but this over-inflated imbecile was quickly working his way to the top of her 'Most Vile' list. Still, she wasn't here for a fight and as much as she wanted to show this fool that no amount of muscle could stop a blaster bolt from burning a hole through his jugular, she had bigger fish to fry.

"A 'bit' of an ass is an understatement, pal," Aska replied to Klied and while she was doing her best to show her old friend some respect, she found it hard to disguise the repugnance she felt as it stoked the anger she harbored. However, Klied's offer of teaming up broke her train of thought temporarily. Taking a moment to mull it over, she knew that this was an opportunity that she shouldn't pass up. Denny's file made mention that he was about as slippery as they come and while she had no idea of what caused the Twi'lek to flee the bar, she still needed to either track him down or collect the credits he owed Boola. Perhaps helping Klied and the over-inflated Gungan could prove useful. "The last time we were together, things got a bit out of hand. You think you and that giant imbecile are ready for a repeat?" Aska finally allowed herself to joke, smirking slightly as she spoke. "Tell me about your target,"

Poffo was not at all surprised that Klied was going to skip out on an opportunity to let loose a little bit. Sauvage just shook his head and coughed, interrupting before Klied could answer. "First of all, as far Mr. Macho being an acquired taste, I would say if you don't like Mr. Macho, you should acquire some taste, yeah." Not his cleverest line, but he was a few drinks into the night. You can't expect him to be on top of his game all night. "And as for you," he said pointing at Klied. "All work and no play sucks. It makes Klied a very boring dude, yeah."

He looked back at this girl who was trying her best to ignore him. He really didn't give a damn. "As for OUR target," he said motioning between himself and Klied, "His name is Treeno Tairo, and he's a two-bit spice dealer, yeah. He's no trouble at all." Poffo patted the back of his hand against Klied's arm. "C'mon, we don't need woman trouble. Drama we don't need, brother."

Klied was about to answer Aska's question when Poffo started being, well, Poffo again. The hunter could only shrug at the accusation of being boring. "What do you want from me? I was raised in the jungle. Hunting things is my version of playing." He recognized that in her own way Aska was trying to extend an olive branch as well. At least he thought she was. But Poffo didn't seem interested in an alliance. Again he was forced to wonder if he was making a mistake trying to convince the two of them to work together.

"She's no trouble at all Poffo." Klied insisted. Then he glanced towards the woman as he thought back to what had happened the night the two had met. "I mean... She kinda is actually, but the good kind." He looked back at his partner. "Just humor me will you? You won't regret it. Either of you." He insisted once more, looking in Aska's direction again. Being the negotiator certainly wasn't a position he was used to. Unless the negotiating was being done at gunpoint. At the very least he hoped his partner would pick up that he considered Aska a valuable potential ally, and that he would consider his opinion sound.
