DESCRIPTION​

Before the Mandalorian and Jedi war the Mandalore of millennia ago were conquerors. During this time a young Commando lead and assault on a small world out in the Rim territories and brought it under Mandalorian rule. The planet was rich in mineral resources and used a strange alloy for much of their weapon tech. The curious metal was durable but had an odd effect when used for the basis of a Vibroweapon, due to the intense vibrations the alloy would heat and glow. But despite getting to a near white hot state it was not enough to compromise the integrity of the alloy. The Commando was rewarded for her efforts with the founding of her own clan, the Andro clan. She had taken one of the weapons for herself and it became a symbol of her leadership of the clan much in the way that the Darksaber had for the title of Mandalore. Over the millennia the blade was chipped and eventually shattered. Try though they might, the forgers of the Andro clan could not identify the alloy the blade was made of. They instead opted to pattern weld it with the material they were most familiar with Beskar. The improved heat resistance of the Mandalorian Steel meant that the blade no longer glowed in it's entirety when vibrating, but the new aesthetic was very much enjoyed by the then clan leader none the less.
