Siris stood in the rain, his cloak and armor soaked from the constant barrage of water. A storm raged in the sky, thunder and lightning erupting between the clouds and striking down onto the city. He stood on a massive landing pad, one directly hanging off the side of a skyscraper that pierced the sky. The only thing beneath the landing pad was air for hundreds of feet down before turning into solid ground.

Siris stood on the center of the landing pad, his hand gripping his deactivated lightsaber tightly as he waited for his opponent. The only entrance towards the landing pad was a small door built into the wall. It would reveal a small open bridge that was connected to the landing pad. He kept his eyes on the door, ready to begin.

Kal wandered out onto the landing platform, eyes locked on his opponent as he approached. His mind reached out to the Exile, touching whatever he sensed and drawing the Force to himself against the darkness. His saber hilts were gripped in either hand, unignited as he approached. He let the Force gather in his left arm as he approached, igniting the hilt in his right hand and letting it point toward the ground.

The beating rain pounded down as the Jedi awaited the attack of his opponent. Cracks of lightning lit up the night sky as the water matted his hair to his forehead. Kal kept his senses open, "listening" for ripples in the Force that might indicate a first strike from his opponent as he drew near, stopping five meters from the Exile in challenge.

When the Jedi stepped onto the platform and took a few steps onto it, Siris ignited one blade of his lightsaber. It came to life and portrayed a crimson light over the Exile. As Kal passed the ten meter mark, the exile moved. Siris's first steps were at a leisurely pace but it turned into a sudden dash and with the help of the force, he would close the distance rapidly between him and Kal.

Before the end of the dash, Siris kept his left hand to the side of his torso and opened his palm to send out a small force blast to try and Kal momentarily lose his footing. The saber in Siris's right hand came in from Kal's left, the blade coming directly for his shoulder and slashing diagonally down to his right hip.

Kal saw the man begin to charge and wasted no time in meeting him. He felt a swelling of the Force and surrounded himself in a slight protective buffer, letting the push dissipate slightly on contact and knocking him back as he leaned forward to keep his balance. Even so, his feet slid back along the ground, though Kal was sure to stay away from the edge. His left blade activated in an instant, rising upwards to block the diagonal slash perpendicularly.

His other blade swung with a flick of Kal's wrist to cleave through his opponent's left side and stop at his sternum, taking advantage of the Exile's forward momentum to keep him from dodging away. Even if he tried a last minute push, the tip of Kal's blade should still manage to find purchase in his opponent before the Jedi was pushed aside. Meanwhile, Kal's feet weren't idle as he stepped to his own right, looking to get on his opponent's left while simultaneously putting himself further away from the edge of the platform.

Siris expected the block, his saber clashing against Kal's about half of an arm's length extended along the trajectory. He also spotted the quick cleave that was coming to his exposed left flank. But Siris felt Kal's movement and he followed suit. He flowed with his movements, using the water gathered on the pad to help Siris slide his left leg around him and follow Kal. It put him in the same position as before, slightly on the left flank of him.

It would provide enough space for his left hand to summon another force push, firing it towards the blade, attempting to throw it off course and evade the cleave. During the push, Siris would bring his blade back slightly away from the Jedi's and twirl it counterclockwise, letting it spin under his arm and freeing it from Kal's blade. He brought the saber and positioned it diagonally across his torso.

Kal saw his opponent slide to the side, unleashing another blast at Kal's wrist. It knocked the saber's trajectory off, but Kal was undeterred as he maneuvered to keep the Exile in front of him. As the man pulled back and maneuvered his blade into a defensive position, Kal pressed the attack.

His left saber clashed down in a vertical chopping action from where it was over his shoulder, specifically with the intention of striking his opponent's blade and pinning it close to the Exile's body while his right blade maneuvered around from having been knocked away and slashed vertically upward where it would - theoretically - join the other two blades after having carved a bloody and burned path through the Exile's entire lower body.

Even though Siris got a quick moment to breathe and get out of the terrible position, Kal pressed his attack. He brought his right saber up vertically and his left saber down vertically, wanting them to join in the middle of Siris's torso. He thought he was closed in but an idea came to him. Siris did a quick sidestep to the right, coming out of the vertical attacks.

He activated his right blade as he twirled his weapon counterclockwise again, and let his blade collide with Kal's. With Kal throwing his power in the downward strike, it would be hard to change it's course instantly and all Siris had to do was put a little power into the blade and direct it into his other blade. If the Kal's blade connected, he would push down with his saber, wanting to force them to the ground and render them useless for now. If he succeeded, it would make Kal move with his momentum and slightly bend him over and put him into an exposed position.

If the blade remained on top, Siris would slide his blade up Kal's before slashing it up vertically towards Kal's open body. With Kal's blade on the ground, it would be hard for him to try and bring the blades back to try and deflect it.

Kal's opponent rapidly changed the direction of his blade, moving to layer it on top of Kal's. The Jedi's left blade was forced down, but Kal was not so easily overcome. He was balanced enough and not throwing his entire body behind the blow, preventing him from stumbling off balance when the blade was pulled away, though his arm did continue downward with his opponent's blade swinging atop.

His right blade continued up and as it passed through where it should have made first contact with his enemy's body, Kal hit the switch on his right blade and the saber flashed off, in an example of Trakata. This let Kal's arm continue its "swing" upward without the blade. He waited until it passed the two sabers and then reactivated it, where it should pierce the Exile's stomach and carve its way through his upper body. Even if it missed striking the Exile (whose blade would be unable to defend due to the fact that it was caught up with Kal's other blade), the blade would then be positioned to catch any strike from the Exile at his own body as Kal primarily used his wrist to continue the upward strike so that the bottom of the blade would protect anything not covered by his left blade.

Siris was in trouble, his blade was caught up in Kal's and he misjudged Kal's power, thinking he put more force into his left chop. The saber passed his shoulder and as Siris began to lead it downward, still hoping that somehow the blades would clash. But Kal turned off his right saber and shattered Siris's hopes as it cleared the other two sabers and continued upwards.

He was in a bad position, Kal could just turn it on and it would instantly impale Siris. So, he just went off instinct. As Kal's right saber turned on, shooting out towards Siris, he tilted right while lifting his lightsaber up so it would collide with Kal's and negate some of the damage at least. Siris's blade did collide and it directed Kal's blade to the side of his torso. The blade grazed Siris, a burning sensation spreading through him from the small wound and almost making Siris grunt out in pain.

Siris dashed to the right, attempting to escape the prison of Kal's blades. If he got out, he would be about 2 meters to the left of Kal with his weapon raised to be able to counter or attack.

Kal saw his blade dig into his opponent's flesh and for a moment, he thought this might have been the end, but even as the thought crossed his mind, he realized that this one was quick. Very quick.

He spun away in the nick of time, taking a burn that would no doubt weigh on him with time, but at present left him alive and kicking. Kal followed suit, stepping back an additional two meters in the opposite direction as he waited for his opponent to strike again, both sabers grasped firmly in hand with the right at his right side pointed toward the ground and the left diagonally in front of him. You're faster than you look, he commented.

Siris kept his eyes locked on Kal as he did the same and put ground between them. The Exile shut off one of his blades, returning the weapon to a normal lightsaber. He held the other blade in front of him defensively, his blade at a 60-degree angle. He began to let the force build up in his arm as well, wanting to be prepared when the fight started again.

The storm raged on behind Siris, lightning creating a light show in the black sky. "You're smarter than you look." He replied while patiently waiting for Kal. He needed to conserve his energy and leaping to Kal everytime wouldn't help that.

Kal watched as his enemy took a step back, leaving the initiative once more in the Jedi's hands. He could feel the Force swelling in his enemy and made sure he was prepared to mount a proper defense when the time came.

Without further warning, Kal darted forward and to his own right, sending his left blade swinging from his own right to left at his opponent's left side at waist height as he pivoted on his left foot to face his opponent's side. The Force built in his right hand even as he swung, but he held for the moment, right blade currently extinguished but the hilt still grasped firmly in hand. @LeavingOrbit

Siris stepped diagonally to his right, moving him closer to Kal's left side and matching his movements. He pivoted on his right foot to face Kal's left. At the same time he stepped, Siris brought his blade down to meet Kals, it now vertical against Kal's blade as it prevented the attack from reaching his waist. He activated the bottom blade as he deflected, it snapping to life with a hiss.

He flicked the bottom blade to Kal's left foot, aimed at cutting the foot in half. With the sudden resistance from Kal's blade, it helped swing the bottom blade faster. Since they were close, it would be a fast a strike. If it landed, it would easily cut off mobility from Kal and turn this fight around.

His other left hand remained close to his chest, the force gathered in it and ready to counter or attack when the time came.

Kal felt his saber strike his opponent only for the resistance to be gone moments later. The blade swept forward and he felt the unmistakable burn of a blade passing through his foot. It seemed he had been so caught up in his own attack that he had neglected the counter from his opponent.

There was a payoff to that, though, as he felt his blade sink into his opponent and cleave him in two. His leg gave out from under him as he burned through his opponent, and he was left in the agonizing state of footlessness, but alive. Time to find a prosthetic, then.
