Imperial Archives

The Imperial Archives is a behemoth database compiled over the centuries. Recently, a surge of data has been added to the database since the Sith Insurrection that brought the Sith back to power. While many Sith are able to read files in the Archives, if they have the clearance, only Crusaders and above are allowed to submit articles. Files on Ubiqtorate are kept on a separate closed server in another location.

Individuals ranked Crusaders or above may submit an article in the Imperial Archives. Articles can be objective or subjective, and can have a range of topics. When possible, back up speculations or articles with as much factual information as possible. If the article is comprised of purely speculations, a denotation of "[Speculation]" must be added to the title. While NPC authors can be used, archival submitters must still control a PC of Crusader rank or above and needs to provide a brief abstract about the NPC author(s). Individuals with Imperial Armed Forces PCs may submit articles that do not pertain to the Sith regardless of rank. Similar to the Jedi Order's archives:

Data entered into the Archives may be in either IC or OOC format. However, as there are more complete sources of out-of-character information such as Wookieepedia, information presented from an in-character perspective is preferred.

The article type is whether it is an Article (factual), Speculation, Log (such as an entry about a battle or personal entry), and OOC (out of character information). At this time, there is no restrictions on subject matters; if a problem arises, a notice will be posted to this thread.

The Sith echelon holds the right to reject archival submissions and request alterations or edits be made. Writers may submit the article in the Imperial Archives board. Any alterations or edits needed will be told to the writer. Rejections will be archived, and a notice given to the writer (along with a link to the article for their own records).
