Arkanians seek Senator Lyrra Adasca's resignation after she announced the sedition of their homeworld

During the most recent meeting of the New Republic Senate, Senator Lyrra Adasca of Arkania had announced that her homeworld would be leaving the Republic and would become neutral. With this, she thought that her planet would be away from the conflicts. Unfortunately, it seems that she forgot to warn her own people about it!
As soon as this news arrived in her homeworld, the people of Arkania felt outraged with her decision. Protests spread across the cities seeking to convince the government that the planet shouldn’t leave the Republic in this dire moment. According to our sources, they accuse Lyrra of being a traitor of Democracy and that the people of Arkanian don’t want to be cowards like her.
In an official statement of the Arkanian Dominion, they called the people to remain calm and that they weren’t informed of Lyrra's desire of leaving the Republic. They also said that they don’t support this idea and want the Senator to return immediately to answer for her actions. It seems that someone will be in trouble!
While the statement calmed down part of the population, some radical protesters had targeted properties owned by Lyrra and her family in the capital of Adascopolis. Among the damage there are paintings calling her a coward and other offensive words that we aren’t allowed to reproduce there.
