BIOGRAPHY
Although born on the Togruta homeworld of Shili, Asaara has never truly seen her home. While still an infant, the young girl's village suffered a disastrous and largely fatal accident. A fire of unknown origins had set the village and the grasslands surrounding it ablaze, consuming it faster than the villagers could combat it. The entirety of the village, and many of its residents, perished. Asaara, no more than a few months old, had been trapped inside of her family's abode and was unable to be saved prior to the village's evacuation.
Whether by chance or by the mysterious benevolence of the Force, Asaara miraculously survived. As the home collapsed from the damage of the fire, the young Togruta was fortunate enough to be covered almost entirely by stone debris that spared her life.
The day after the fire, a travelling Jedi on a mission to curry favour with the native Togruta and assist with the relief effort, discovered the infantile Asaara buried beneath the rubble. As he held the child in his arms he noticed several things: small areas of burns on her body, a connection with the Force, and a most peculiar ornament adorning the girl's montrals: a chain with an oddly familiar crystal. After a brief inquiry with the handful of survivors from Asaara's village, it was all but confirmed that her parents hadn't survived. The Jedi was permitted to take the Force-sensitive child back to Ajan Kloss with him, where she has spent the rest of her life since her precious couple of months on her homeworld that she doesn't even remember. The temple is her home, as is Ajan Kloss, and it is all she has ever known.
Little does Asaara know, although any Padawan or Jedi worth their salt very well knows, the crystal she wears is indeed a pallid kyber crystal. How or why Asaara, and by extension her family, came into possession of the ashen crystal is a mystery that has as of yet remained unsolved. Some few interpret it as a sign that the girl is meant to become a Jedi, while others perceive it to be a simple matter of chance. Perhaps time will tell.

PERSONALITY
Asaara is very soft-spoken and polite, always ensuring that both ordinary people and members of the Jedi are address with the proper honourifics. The girl also has a reputation for being extremely kind, caring more about others' feelings and well being more than her own. These traits in particular lead others to perceive her as meek or timid, as the kindness and concern for others can make her almost unable to respond or act for fear of offending them. When Asaara finally manages to muster the courage to speak and interact with others, she has a penchant for being friendly, caring, warm, and optimistic.
Moreover, Asaara has frequently demonstrated a finely attuned perception of people's mental and emotional states. She has a knack for being able to inherently sense the feelings of others with some reliable accuracy, whether someone might be worried, disappointed, angry, or in pain. As a consequence, this enables her some capability of determining somebody's motives or driving force to behave or act a certain way. However, while Asaara may carry herself with a certain kind of grace and flowery personality, she has shown that she is a capable enough fighter. Though far from being a professional with her vibroblade, she has displayed a certain aptitude with it given her life spent at the temple.
Finally, in the few instances Asaara becomes a close enough friend with somebody, or cares a lot for a person in particular, she has been known to give that person a nickname that is important to her.
