BIOGRAPHY

K-2L9, like all KX Series droids from the time of the Galactic Empire, was constructed by Arakyd Industries on the world of Vulpter in the year 14BBY. Serving the Empire for the duration of it’s reign over the galaxy, the droid unit was issued a shut down order after the defeat of the Imperial Remnant on the world of Jakku and was eventually salvaged and stored away by pirates that had secured an old and abandoned Imperial cruiser on the edge of known space. As the years passed, the defunct droid was auctioned off between multiple parties before finally coming into possession of the Rodian enforcer named Boola, who operated for a small time criminal organization by the name of the Y’toub Outlaws. After reactivation approximately 130 years after being shut down, the droid had it’s memory scanned for any useful information before undergoing massive rehabilitation and updating of the systems it held within it’s programming. Now serving Boola as a Security detail as well as a pilot, K-2L9 frequently finds himself assigned to assisting the young bounty hunter Aska Ryun, though the droid sees the task more along the lines of babysitting her and trying to keep the young woman out of trouble.
