Assault on Al'doleem

Although the Sith's ancient enemy has returned, one of the Jedi Padawans was captured. Having given up the location of multiple Rebel bases, the time to strike down these terrorists has arrived. Sith Lord Varyn Rask is leading an assault to bring these bases under the control of the Empire. An outpost on the beautiful moon of Al'doleem will be the first target of Imperial vengeance. Although the Rebels have evacuated the base, it is time to seize control of whatever they've left behind. Expect resistance from any stragglers in the area.

OOC Intent​

This is something between missions and battles for the Old Empire to seize control of Al'doleem. Although the Alliance has already mostly evacuated the bases, anyone who is interested in defending is welcome to do so. This is open to any members of the Old Empire, and members of the Imperial Republica who are considering defecting or interested in a little bit of revenge. These threads require each person to post within 48 hours (or to follow PvP rules if combat commences).

The Assault​

1. [OPEN/PVP] Forward Advance: The first Imperial units have set down on the planet and are securing a perimeter around the former Rebel base. Ensure that no traps have been set along the approach vector that would prevent our vehicles from moving in on the remains of the base. @Valar Dohaeris @Vian Windrider - Full

2. [OPEN/PVP] No Escapees: In the event that the terrorists still have members at the base and are still preparing to flee, your team has been tasked with maneuvering anti-aircraft guns into position. This will allow you to gun down any transports or fighters that attempt to flee the main assault. @Wes Thul Drast @Doz Noth

3. [OPEN/PVP] First Steps: You are the tip of the spear that will cut through the heart of these terrorists. Begin clearing out any occupants of the base that you can find. If there are survivors, attempt to capture them alive, but not at the risk of your own lives. @Varyn Rask @Artarion Sekt - Full

4. [OPEN/PVP] For the Empire: Reports suggest that a small pocket of terrorists have taken up positions in a small outpost not far from the main base. Move against them and eliminate them. Captives are not necessary. Exterminate the traitors with extreme prejudice.@Qsan Torobah @Sythe - Full
