ATTENTION REPUBLIC: Under New Administration

Hey all.

So after events in this thread, you may have noticed that, IC'ly, the Chancellor is just a little... Er, crispy.

How'd this happen? About a month ago, the previous Chancellor [moi! >:3] resigned. The Staff searched for a replacement, while the previous Chancellor was being a giant lazy furball and twiddled his thumbs in a corner. After we found and selected a candidate, Bac and I discussed how to get rid of the current Chancellor from an IC standpoint, and decided that this was the best way to do it.

With the previous Chancellor removed from power, that, IC'ly, opens the door to our new Chancellor. You all know and love her: It's MatronAdena!

She'll be in charge of the Republic from here on out. IC'ly, her character won't take control for a bit longer since it'd take bit for what's left of the Senate to vote and what-have-you. OOC'ly, though, she's got full control of the Republic and all of its branches.

From an IC perspective, this means two things:

1) The Republic is going to be running around like a headless chicken for a few days, with no real top-down leadership.
2) News about the assassination attempt will travel to the Republic Military forces on Ando, who will have to react appropriately to the loss of the Chancellor. Or they can laugh and cheer over the crispification of yet another eeeevil furry.

So, that's basically everything. Adena is your new supreme overlord, shower her with sacrifices and tribute, etc etc.

Anywho, let's give a warm welcome to Adena, the new Republic faction leader!

I will say I'll be taking this time " as well as have been taking time" to review things, and set ups and all that, and planning out a few things to change up and alter, positions to fill, or to vacate and establish better communication lines within the faction, and with allied factions.

I'll lay it out more completely in a day or two while the " assassination chaos" plays out.

With that I will also be " temporarily" stripping command posts for military, and intelligence branches " including solag, s-13 " WHILE things are patched up... and balanced, thus keeping wildcards to a minimum.

Will, and Boli's command at prime is unchanged as that is admin appointed, to put an end to these things so we can push on.

again, this time of chaos is a " temporary" lull as we use this time to get our affairs in order, and again PLEASE get a hold of me if you need anything or need to suggest something, or have questions. It's VITAL people are on the same page.

anyhow, as I said major major reform coming down the pipe that should clean ALOT of the messes up and open communications better, streamline some branches, and create other positions and all that. I'll be presenting the idea perhaps tonight after I fine tune it and run it by a few to get a general feel for it.
