Not exactly. GMitis is when the FL becomes inactive and disappears. I stepped down, because I realized I have become very busy and don't have the time that I wished I had for the faction. I've seen it in the past in other sites where factions have crumbled because a leader never has time to lead the faction but stubbornly refuses to step down. I care about the Chiss Ascendancy, so I don't want to harm my faction, so I made the logical choice to step down from my position. Black Noise I think is a wonderful choice and will do well, maybe even doing better than I was. Good luck, Black Noise. I'm still here, so I'll help wherever needed.

The only real "curse" when it comes to FLs have been with the Jedi but, now that GABA has been in the position for, what, 6 months now? That curse seems to be gone. I wouldn't call Weiss having served for months and then stepping down on his own accord due to time commitments a curse. ;)

I'd say it's more of a mix. The box that denotes faction leadership is golden, but the color of the user's name is orange.
