I am just going to go out there and say it. You are legitimately a grade A asshole whose only purpose of roleplaying is to piss people off. I don't care who your buddies are in admin roles and screw it I get banned I get banned. You leave the site for months then just immediately turn up and start trying to push everyone around and wreck what they have done in your absence. Firstly, I didn't do anything OOCly that was wrong. Varek reacted as he would bud. You made a power play and it failed. That's the game you chose to play, the gamble YOU made, ultimate power vs. death. That thread should be put in the past but I understand being a bit butthurt, since it failed.

As far as this goes, BN said he didn't want the Immortals to stay as Sith-lite and I said I'd do that. If Nite refuted the role that's on him and BN. Don't go gettin' mad at me because your buddy lost his role for whatever reason.

Insofar as inactivty goes, yeah, I have spurts of it like anyone else. Mine had personal notifications threads to go with it when my activity died between post-concussive effects from martial arts and the likes I had a -reason- not to be around. I, at no point, left for months. And no, you won't get banned because I'm friends with admins because, hey, guess what, not everyone is out to get you. If you get banned it's for acting like what you're yelling at me for doing brah.

I don't work to undermine your plans, I could give two shits less if your little cult dies tomorrow or works out awesome. Your character died because he insulted the Empress in front of her oldest defender. Also, if you wanna bitch about me not doing things for the Sith, you might wanna do more research. I've done more for that faction than almost anyone else. So before you step to complain about my lack of contribution, you should probably look into it a bit more. Ask Sree, ask Xeno, ask Arc, ask Corden, hell, ask Bac. I may go inactive from time to time, but when I'm around shit gets done.

So yeah, if you wanna cry, take that shit somewhere else. I've got a subfaction to fix.

Just for the record, i didn't refute the role, I wouldn't have started near tirelessly worked on ideas and revamps for the horrible writing of the immortals, as well as ideas for the black feather, expanding history, and making entering the Immortals user friendly and fun for new members as an option, if i didn't want the role, as well as already made the character. BN is faction leader, he made it clear he was gonna drop me for you. I told him he was FL, and that I could not physically stop him if he did. I wanted the immortals to be more than just another haunting ground for older members to crush new Jedi-GA entrants in pre-dispositioned battle royales.

Though, it doesn't REALLY matter, this is a Star wars roleplaying site, if I got all butt-hurt about something like this like i did with my first sith it would only prove that i have not grown or learned at all since that time earlier last year. I Still have a Grand Marshal position to look forward to, and I can officially say my character was the former High Immortal, which creates a nice little story as to why that came to pass, and can be roleplayed out.

No biggie.

it's nothing new having people with the attitude "it's mine cuz you has and i wants it" around here.

hell, ooc bs is what this site is built on. my opinion is that people should consider the storylines they might be ruining versus the stories they want to start and work collaboratively together on them so that everyone can tell the best story that they can tell. but it's like there's an active minority who are still stuck in the "can't tag me cuz everything proof shield" and "screw you i wanna do this" mentality that i used to see on neopets in 2000... when i was like 10.

basically it's at a point where the only way to protect the integrity of your own stories is to role play either alone, or with a very very small group of people. i for one am here to tell stories, and when there is no story to be told (whether that's due to inactivity, people having issues, blatant disregard for politeness, or simply immaturity/ignorance/stupidity) then i simply cease to entertain it. writing a story is worth my time, navigating the social politics of a star wars role playing form isn't.

my point is this, of course we all know there's a separation between ooc and ic, but the fact is, that separation is context sensitive and compromises should always be reached so that everyone can tell the best possible stories they can. basically, separate bad things oocly and icly, but encourage good ooc/ic blurring. i don't even know what's going on here, but there's some points in the macro of the discussion i wanted to reply to.

ps: because people have a tendency to get butthurt, i like mars i consider myself to be on friendly terms with him and i think he considers himself to be on friendly terms with me. it's a shame that annoying stuff has happened whenever we've tried to write together (i blame military academy). lol.

This could've been handled with more tact. Don't make an announcement and right away replace that person. It's pretty rude to Nite. A plot to overthrow or some IC means of this would have been much more interesting and engaging than having Nite be publicly undermined like this. Please don't do this in the future and 100% think about a decision before an announcement is thrown up.

EDIT: Any butt hurts or untactful moves can be blamed on me. Lupe, by trying to bring Nite in, was doing what he thought best for the Chiss. It is not that I think Nite couldn't revamp the Chiss, it's that I want Mars doing it, and until recently I did not know Mars was still active around here.
