Hello all! So with our change in leadership, it is my mission to try and make this faction as different and exciting to as many people as possible. And one of the best ways I can think of, is this: defining how and why the GAR is different from the Jedi and SBZ/Sith in a good way, rather than just saying "we are badass troopers with guns HOOORAH."

Before I continue, I would like to tag the Republic AFL in charge of the GAR (@Calixis ) and invite him to add on to this as he sees fit.

Although the GAR will indeed have mission packs like most factions, and can oppose invasions, etc, it should be stated that the general principle behind the GAR where you as an rper are concerned is Spec Ops units. Although, IC wise, the GAR is this massive NATO style organization, you the member of the GAR would be a cut above, serving as a black ops/spec ops operative.

That being said, you as a GAR member are permitted to 'do your own digging' as it were, if mission packs do not interest you. If you see an opportunity to get on with your spec ops self, and drop in to sow some havoc against enemies of the Republic, then partner up with a fellow GAR player, or a few (minimum of two rpers. Yourself and someone else), let me know privately via pm, and let's get make things happen!

Please see the following to get the gist of what you can do as a Member of the GAR:

You can...

• Come up with ideas of special operations you and at least one other GAR member would like to engage in (an example being to infiltrate an SBZ compound and steal battle plans)
• Get with me privately to set up whatever plotline you come up with.
• These types of missions would be subject to any rules pertaining to pvp, Manaan Rules, and espionage rules, namely setup threads, etc. So please review them before concocting a plot.
