@Eccles I have multiple points to raise in reference to your recent post. First is that you're trying to autohit and capturing my character without my consent; not cool. Second is that there are a pair of people incredibly close to Amos, including a 6'8" 300lb character shaking him down, and Scoob's mando whom is currently holding a blaster underneath Amos' jaw. Amos has also been seated behind a table this entire time.

I'm not opposed to a shot going off, but there's simply no way for it to be anything other than a warning shot in Amos' direction.

Hey @SlagathorTheUnknown, I understand where you're coming from..

I'd like to point out that if anyone in the galaxy is able to make that shot, then it'd be Preef Callo. He's the first level 4 character in this timeline and gunslinger of legendary skill and reputation. When he claims the room and basically tells everyone that he's robbing them -because make no mistake that's what's happening- then you shut up and pray you get out of there alive.

Your character has instead -from Preef's pov- disrespected him by addressing everyone in the room in dialogue during this time and been a disruptive presence to the authority he claims over the room. It's not in the character to use warning shots -he only uses stun when expressly told- and would kill just to send a message. This is a character that made HoloNet broadcasts just to livestream him executing Hutt Lordas.

In my post I've made sure that your char can survive and we can have a fun thread where you're nursed to health and eventually set free. There will be no lasting damage to your character and that's because I don't want to be a dick OOCly. If I approach it completely IC I would've shot and killed more characters based on this and most importantly this.

Now I'm even more confused. Preef isn't taking over running the auction? What else did he mean by, "This auction is mine now"?

That line made led me to believe that his demand that those around the room produce credits ("You have your credits on you, or I will kill you") was him only wanting serious bidders, and his subsequent "nobody leaves without their credits on the floor" as wanting payment at the time of collecting one's auction winnings. Amos only addressed the room to respond to Malon's Hutt, and then specifically Preef to ask about what was assumed to be an ongoing auction. In fact, his addressing Preef about the auction that was presumed to be continuing is Amos respecting that Preef is running the show now. The other thing I'll say on that topic is that, given that others have been interacting with/talking to Amos, it would be a disservice to those other writers for me not to respond.

Although it's clear to me that we have different ideas as to what was actually going on in the thread, I'll concede that this is your character. My concern is more that you've written an autohit on my character, through multiple PCs and a table, without any ooc discussion, hence why I've suggested it be resolved as a warning shot instead. This is not a pvp thread, yet your post took away multiple creative controls given to pvpers; within reason, the ability to determine if an attack hits, and if so, the damage/effects.

Staff clarification: There was no autohit written in Preef's post. The situation and skill difference just mean Preef's not likely to miss.

The people near you aren't in the way enough to stop Preef shooting Amos. This is a character who got rank 4 with basically one skill, that being gunslinging with pistols. Shooting between people and avoiding a table is within his skill set.

Preef is within his rights to decide to shoot anyone in the room he believes is disrespecting his orders/authority/etc.

The IC wording of the attempt, and the OOC note that followed, made me think it was an autohit. Please forgive my confusion. Tea, I appreciate you looking into this.
