Kalanda had spent a lifetime away from the ties of her past. The events of Ilum had shaken the young woman to her core, caused her to flee as far as she could from that which tormented her so deeply. But that was years ago. She wasn't that young scared woman any longer, no, she had grown past that. The chains of the old life which had so throughly torn into her being, haunted her waking her waking hours had been broken. In its place, she had found a freedom she never dreamed of. It was for that reason alone she would seek to make amends of her past, try and fix the wrongs she had done. She still walked in the dark, it's influence would never be lost on her, but she wasn't Sith; nor would she ever be. It was for that reason she had come here, to a world beyond her sight, beyond her dreams. It was a world inhabited by two people whom she had nothing but hate for. Nothing but loathing. But that was so long ago, the fires of hate had long since cooled, and now it merely burned like a small collection of embers. She bore these two no ill any longer, which was entirely why she had come here.

With her ship touching down several dozen meters away, Kalanda strode down the ramp, her plain robes flapping in the breeze as nightfall was laying seige to this backwater world. The force had guided her hand to this place, and the Ichor had served as her compass. Sakadi still lived, though she had taken the path of exile, and Kalanda had a sneak suspicion that Mid would be here as well. She took in a breath, hand extended as she conjured forth a blade and sheathed it in the empty scabbard at her side. There was a chance this meeting might not go over well, so she best be prepared. Not attempting to hide her aura, Kalanda would begin her walk, curious where the end of this road would lead her. This had been a long time coming.

Eriana pursed her lips as she read the handwritten note of her mother for the third time. In summary, their parents weren't going to be home anytime soon. It meant that she was in charge now, although she doubted that her younger sister, Kalanda, would agree with that. At least Taral wouldn't cause any trouble; he was fast asleep at this late hour.

After placing the note back on the table, the young girl leaned back on the sofa. What was she going to do with all this freedom? Perhaps she could finally take a look at her mother's music sheets, or whatever her father was hiding in the attic. Yeah, perhaps that would be a good thing to start with. The white-haired girl rose to her feet and turned, only to see her younger sister nonchalantly walk to the kitchen.

Eriana's brow furrowed as she watched Kalanda trudge past her. Feeling obliged to say something, she spoke up. "Kalanda, what are you going to do?" she asked with a hint of annoyance present in her voice. She knew that look. Her sister was up to something. Kalanda, however, didn't answer. With a pout, she followed the red-skinned girl to the kitchen.

"Kalanda?" Eriana tilted her head slightly ajar as she observed her younger sister climb on a chair to reach the upper cupboard. "Daddy hides the cookie jar here." Kalanda stated, without paying attention to her visibly frustrated sister. Standing on her toes to reach deep within the cabinet, Kalanda pulled out a small jar. Just as Eriana was about to protest, however, she felt a slight pull at her sleeve. It was Taral, who was still half asleep.

"Where are mommy and daddy?" the little boy asked his two older sisters. Eriana was the one to respond, mainly because the cookie jar kept Kalanda occupied. "They'll be home soon." It was a quick lie to put Taral at ease. "Why?" she added, a little confused as to why Taral would come downstairs this late in the evening. "because there are bright lights outside" he explained, seemingly just as confused as Eriana.

At the mention of the lights, both Kalanda and Eriana froze. A single glance at the window confirmed Taral's observation. But it was worse than that. The thing that illuminated the field in front of their house was a spacecraft, the kind of vehicle her father and mother had mentioned in their stories. The children had never seen a spaceship before, but they immediately recognized it. But what scared them, was the cloaked figure who with every step got closer to their home.

"You did lock the door.... right?" Kalanda's voice was shivering as she spoke, and with good reason. Their parents weren't here to protect them and no one except for their neighbors ever visited them. So what brought this stranger to their homestead? And more importantly, with what intentions?

Kalanda moved forward, her senses alert for a sudden attack, after all they had not parted on the best of terms. She reached out with her senses, trying to see if perhaps Kados and Sakadi waited nearby, perhaps in the house up head, but she could not sense them nearby. Her magick had certainly lead her here though, surely they couldn't have gotten far. What did make her curios though, was sensing three presenses within the dwelling, all of which she could feel in the force. It seemed promising, though ideas began to circulate in Kalanda's mind. Who could be here? Surely the pair didn't....procreate did they? Kalanda's face twitched in disgust of the mere idea, and she decided then to never think of this again. She continued onward, her senses as keen as ever, as she neared the home, picking up the faint sounds of talking. Sounded like....children?

Kalanda came to a halt outside of the residence, as she looked about once more, knowing just how bad it would be if the pair arrived to find her potentially invading their home with...offspring present. It would be most lamentable. But would standing outside the house do her any better? Probably not, if anything she'd just terrify the children, which again would undo all the good will that brought her here. Pulling back her hood, Kalanda sighed and made her way forward, hand slowly moving to knock on the door, as she would try and be....socialable. "Yes, hello?" She started, before pausing, looking at the door and briefly thinking of just opening it from the outside. But she was trying to be nice, so that was off the books for now. She pushed her senses back into the house, just to ensure what she was thinking was true, and felt a bit if annoyance as it was confirmed. Kados had truly lost his mind. She could see the resemblance in each of them, it was without question that the force had brought her to the right place. "Children, I'm looking for your parents, might you be kind as to tell me where they are?" Kalanda out on the nicest tone she could muster, but it would probably be for not. She seemed to be easy to hate these days. She paused, waiting for a response, but knew they probably want to know who she was. Kalanda shrugged her shoulders, hoping the parents of these three hadn't spun farfetched tales about herself. "My name is Kalanda, I knew your parents before you...came into existence." That was about the nicest way she could say it. She'd be lucky if that door ever opened up. She merely turned towards her ship, expecting Sakadi to come down from above and try to skewer her; though if anything, Kados was more likely to try that.

"Shhh!" Eriana motioned for Kalanda to be silent, as the stranger approached their door. With every step the figure took, the three children felt the temperature drop, much like it did when they were home with just their father. The voice of the figure made even the oldest of the three shiver. The fact that the female figure had such a presence, yet such a calm and gentle voice, was something that frightened Eriana, Kalanda and Taral.

The two sisters exchanged a meaningful look; neither of them would speak up. Neither would Taral, the young boy was in shock and too tired to fully realize what was going on. The woman outside continued talking. She was looking for their parents, but what was more of a revelation, was the woman's name. Kalanda.

Before Eriana could act, her younger sister spoke up. "How do you know mommy and daddy?" she asked with disbelief in her voice. She took a step forward, only to be halted by Eriana. The woman had to be lying. Nobody from the past visited their parents, or knew that they lived here. The children knew that much. The fact that this stranger appeared, claiming to know them and with apparently no ill intentions was hard to believe. Maybe they were young, but they weren't stupid.

Kalanda scowled, arms crossed as she waited for a response; of course there was none. She could sense the fear of the children, which displeased her just a tad, after all she wasn't aiming to terrify the children. Kalanda attempted to withdraw her aura, hoping that perhaps she could ease the minds of the children. She still had some of the darkness lingering within her, so she couldn't be too surprised for someone so young to recoil. Kalanda wanted to just throw in the towel, maybe she could just wait on the shuttle, but a voice on the other side of the door drew her attention. A small smile stretched across her face as the small voice inside the house was heard. It made Kalanda wonder just how much the children knew about their parents past. Kalanda put her hand on the door, feeling the distrust of the children just beyond. Smart kids, least they weren't idiots; she'd give Sakadi that much.

"I was once your father's student, and I had...disagreements with your mother from time to time."
She stated, tapping her finger on the door. "I'm not surprised they didn't mention me, but tell me, who are the three of you?" Kalanda asked, curious who she was speaking with here and now. She could easily pry into their minds, figure out what their names were by force, but that would go against her reason for being here. "I just came here hoping to talk with your parents. I hadn't seen them in so long, I just wanted to stop by and see how they were doing." It was partly true, the main truth being that Kalanda wanted to bury the hatchet between the three of them.
