Bar-Bar Biriyani
Bar-Bar Biriyani was a small flying dhaba-in-the-sky known to frequent the sky lanes around the Senate Building on Coruscant. Owned and operated by Mugdul Halforcen and his droid sous-chef BB-Q, it was known to sell authentic outer-rim cuisine.
Description
A small speeder-van that was modified to operate as a food-truck, Mugdul transformed it into a dhaba on wheels, aiming to offer a traditional dhaba experience on the fly to those who could not make it to the freight lanes of the outer-rim to experience the real thing.
While take-out and delivery are primary options when the dhaba is roaming the sky-lanes, Mug will set the van down in open areas during lunch and dinner time and set up collapsible tables and chairs to provide customers the option to sit and eat.
While biriyani was the house speciality, be it bantha, porg, chicken, or even vegetarian, there were a number of other items on the menu including curries such as paneer tikka, deserts like kheer and rasmalai, and sweet and savory drinks like lassi, ruhafzah, and jal-jeera.
Staff
The dhaba is run by Mug, who does all the cooking, supported by a COO-series cook droid named T1KKA, aka Tikka, and a protocol droid named Chutney who does drives the van and handles the customers when on the ground.
Intent
To set up a personal lore article for a character's base of operations and to provide another in-universe location as a setting for stories for anyone that might want to use it.
