Targon, Neutral Space, 1615 Hours

When Draugr heard of the dictatorship in Targon, he figured this open a means of power for the Sith. The Zabraki had reached out to the Dictator, Braxor Wellspring, looking to set up a meeting of sorts with him and bring Sith presence to the planet. When the message came that Braxor agreed to meet with the Master, Draugr began to get ready to get out there. He was preparing himself when he thought of a way to give some younger Acolytes the experience they need within the Sith.

Inviting the young Sith he met briefly at one point, he figured that Wodan would be a good element for this mission. There was promise in him and he was sure the young man was ready for a task like this.

"We are going to Targon I have a meeting with their leader about possibly bringing Imperial influence to the planet. I feel you're ready for that task, come we leave now."

The Zabrak began to board his ship with the Acolyte coming along. It was time to speak with the leader of Targon. Dressed appropriately he was in some regal Sith robes and had a set of similar robes readied for Wodan on the ship for the Acolyte to change into if need be. It was a slightly long trip but eventually they arrived on the planet. Draugr would look over to the Acolyte with a smirk before speaking,

"Now it begins."

Stepping out of the ship the two Sith would be greeted by an advisor of the dictator as well as a security detail outside of where the ships landing pad was.

"Master Draugr so good to finally meet you in the flesh! I am Zaroc Buntis, advisor to the Great Braxor of Targon. Welcome to our lovely home! And who might you be?"

The advisor was a somewhat tall Togrutan male. He was slim and had blue skin with white accent. The tendrils looked common as most do, and his security detail were all humanoid with full armor worn. The Togrutan, Zaroc held his hand out to shake Wodan's hand after shaking Draugr's.

"Good to meet you Zaroc."

"Please come, Braxor wishes to speak with you over the details of the meeting."

Draugr would look over to Wodan and slightly nod before turning back and walking along with the group to the palace.

Wodan couldn’t deny that going on a mission with Draugr was a little intimidating. The Firrerrian had only been on missions with Champions or fellow Acolyte's, nothing on the level of power and reputation of the Red Zabrak. Some at the academy had even referred to him as the ‘Red Blade of the Empire’ after the man’s constant stance at the tip of the Sith’s expansion into multiple worlds.

“As you say Master Draugr.” He answered, the Acolyte looked to hide any nerves or fear behind a veil of false confidence bordering on arrogance. Entering the ship behind the red skinned man, he took the Master’s offering of fresh official robes, the Firrerrian had lived constantly in Imperial Armour over the past few months. So relished the chance to wear formal attire once again.

He felt naked as they left the ship, his blasters and spear had been left on the ship. Neither fitting the ‘Diplomatic’ mission he and Draugr were taken. Luckily he was able to wear his lightsaber with the Robes, though the weapon often felt alien to him whenever he used it.

Wodan was not addressed by the dignitary, but he was not surprised at most he was there to learn or perhaps supply a little threat to the meeting room. The pair followed the dignitary off the landing pad and into the glass building which made up the Governmental Palace of Braxor. As they walked their was constant reminders of the Dictator’s wealth and power, from works of art and jewelled statues to hordes of heavily armed guards which patrolled the halls.

He wondered how much of this had been put on show for the pair of visiting dignitaries and how much of it was here on a regular basis. “You seem to have a lot of security here? Are you expecting trouble?” Wodan asked as they moved through the maze of hallways.

As the two followed the Advisor, Wodan spoke up. It was a fair point brought up. Draugr was used to meeting individuals with large security details that wouldn't stop him, but show him how many they were willing to sacrifice before the Sith could make it to their leader. Braxor must be tended to well enough. As the Advisor walked and heard the comment from the Acolyte he would let out an annoying chuckle,

"Heh heh heh, oh boy. If only you knew the power of Targon.."

"Then please do tell.."

Draugr wasted no time in responding, looking for him to slip up before they even got to the Dictator, Braxor. The Togrutan man had almost began to spill a few details, "Well we have a set of Tar-" but a guard had noticeably cleared his throat. Almost as if to tell the Advisor to keep his mouth shut. Interesting, very interesting. Though common in a government like this, it's always fun to see how little power the ones hold at higher ranks.

It fell silent as they entered the building and straight for the elevator. The Zabrak was used to these moments. What all was their to ask? 'How many people have you killed?' That number was lost before the Zabrak had even reached age of 18. The Sith Master was perfectly okay with the quiet. Though it was always good to have a second on these missions. That was where Wodan came in. He wasn't sure how quiet or loud he would be. It was time to see.

The guards surrounded the two Sith in the elevator, weapons lowered but ready. Draugr had a calm and annoyed expression, as the Advisor seemed to have a bit of a smirk. The force allowed for their to be an echo, almost telling the Master to prepare. Something felt off in the force.

That was when the doors opened to a line of guards with their blasters drawn..

Wodan rolled his eyes as the dignitary did the usual, we are the most powerful in the Galaxy stick. It was strange how many times people forgot the immense power of the Sith Empire, if the Empress wished this planet would be wiped from resistance. It had already been done to a dozen planets before, including his own beloved Firrerreo.

Before he could give his own snarky remark however Draugr got their first. Wodan bit his lip and waited, he would have a chance to get back at the dignitary in due time. As they stepped into the elevator silence surrounded the pair of Sith, the back of Wodan’s palm itched. Something was wrong or about to go wrong, he didn’t notice the smirk from the dignitary standing behind the much taller Sith Master.

Then the doors opened to reveal the source of the itch and the unease, guards blasters drawn ready to slaughter the pair of Sith. If Wodan was with another Sith they may have tried to talk themselves out of the situation, but the Red Zabrak had a reputation for a reason and even without a word Wodan knew what the Master thought of this situation.

Frustratingly the Firrerrian did not have access to his spear, so he would need to improvise with The Force, his Lightsaber and his wits. Smashing his right elbow back into the gut of the guard behind him, Wodan grabbed hold of the man’s blaster, twisting and letting out a pair of shots into the guard next to him. The Fierrerrian then Channelled The Force into his left arm grabbing hold of the Dignitaries waist and sending him flying out of the elevator and into the assembled guards.

As the doors opened, the line of guards were prepared to take the two Sith captive. Draugr wasn't one to take too kindly to being taken captive, and from the looks of it neither was Wodan. His attacks were fluid and by surprise to the guards. Quite respectable Draugr would think. Not often do you meet an Acolyte who has the right idea when it comes to taking on adversity. Perhaps Draugr was right in taking Wodan here.

Before any guards around Draugr could react he would blast the force behind him sending them into the elevator walls, and also igniting his lightsaber, stepping slightly forward and deflecting any blaster bolts coming his way. When only a few popped off before the body of dead guard flew out and knocked the five guards in the hallway over. The Zabrak was going to make sure they stayed down. With the force as he walked out he coil a grip around their throats and proceed to choke them out in collective. As they all faded into a permanent sleep, he would look to Wodan.

"Grab the advisor.. He is our hostage."

The Zabrak took a breath as he would wait for the Acolyte to bring the Togrutan man out of the elevator before he would use the force to crush it's walls in and send it flying downward ready to crash and kill the ones inside.

"Now, I do believe we have business to tend to."

The eyes of the Zabrak would look into the soul, the inner essence of the Advisor as he would smirk with an evil look. The plans were initially no killing, but the Dathomiri's bloodlust was too great for him to not enjoy what just happened. Targon proved to be a proud planet, and with the right influences they could bring a strong provision to the Empire.

The Advisor, who was now in terror as he just watched two Sith eliminate eleven guards in succession. He could stutter out a couple of words,

"Of-f-f c-c-course.. "

Wodan disarmed the remaining guard in the elevator, as Draugr activated his lightsaber, the Firrerrian flowed around the bright red blade, taking shots from the stolen blaster, as the lightsaber moved from side to side deflecting bolts, fired at the Sith Master and Acolyte both. It looked as if the pair had practised a thousand times, but it was simply the will of the Dark Side that the two interacted so well.

Once they were all grounded and the Zabrak made his move to finish them off, Wodan returned to the elevator, firing a single shot into each of the guards making sure each was down, before tossing the blaster aside. He then strided towards the advisor, gripping him by the scruff of the neck, the man was limp with fear forcing Wodan to drag him away from the dead guards around him.

With his knee in his back the advisor was forced upright to look at the Sith Master from the ground. It took Draugr only a moment to break the man’s will with his bright red eyes, Wodan smiled as the Advisor grumbled before the Sith’s will. “It.it.it.it was Braxor, he wanted you dead. A show of force, to keep the Sith away.” The advisor spat out under the threat of Sith standing over him.

“I am sure Master Draugr would like to show Braxor his own show of force. Which way?” Wodan asked, digging his knee further into the back of the man as he spoke. The advisor let out a little scream, more from fear than the pain of the knee itself. “Take that corridor, turn right at the crossway and keep going down. That's his private audience chamber. That is where we were supposed to take you after.” “Shall we?” Wodan asked, gesturing in the direction the Advisor pointed in.

It was good to see the Acolyte knew how to intimidate an enemy just as well as Draugr. The Acolyte showing a great deal of confidence as well as promise to become a strong Sith in the future. The Zabrak had a feeling he could have stories about him spread about the Empire before too long. A good pick for this mission he was.

"We shall."

Draugr answered the rhetorical question with a bit of an evil chuckle to him. He knew there was no chance he could just walk in and take the planet under the Empire's control immediately. Braxor would need to be dealt with properly. Perhaps broken, or replaced if things become too extreme. As the Sith Master was ready to make it down the hall and enter the audience chamber.

But first for insurance he would grip the throat of the Advisor and lift him in the air. As he hung by the will of the force, the Zabraki Sith would begin to walk with the advisor floating in front of him. It was in case any guards remained hidden behind the doors, or even on their way. Hostages tend to slow people down when it comes to trigger fingers.

"Hey stop right there!"

A couple of guards outside the door to the chamber would raise their weapons at the two Sith, but didn't fire for the sake of the Advisor being in the way. Draugr wanted to laugh at the idea of the two actually doing anything, but he remained collected and would notion with his fingers on his right hand for the Acolyte to take care of business. Might as well put him to more use if they were going to be here a while.

Draugr led the way, Wodan could feel The Force move in the air, lashing itself around the advisor’s neck. As the Sith Master took control of the man’s body, Wodan stepped back releasing his hold of the man until he was held limply by his neck.

It was a strange and horrifying sight to see, a man levitated held solely by his throat floating down the hall. The looks on the guards faces at the door was a mixture of horror, anger and fear. They knew what they faced and the fact that there was a good chance they were both about to die.

The Sith Master seemed content to allow Wodan to deal with the pair. Stepping to the side, out of line of protection from the Advisor’s floating body, both blasters snapped to his chest. Wodan purposefully kept his face blank, devoid of emotion, that was more frightening to some than a rage filled berserker.

The Force began flowing into the Acolyte like a torrent, the mere presence of Draugr had created an Aura of Dark Side energy in the building. Allowing Wodan to easily tap into his viscous power, once it was collected within him, he shot out his hand, grasping hold of both soldiers arms. With a sick twist he forced the limbs to contort and shift so that the blasters faced their owners chin’s. A small squeeze of his fingers and a pair of blaster bolts were sent into the soft underside of the human’s skull.

“After you Master Draugr.” Wodan said as the bodies dropped to the floor.

The handling of the two guards by the Acolyte Wodan was well done. The boy certainly has promise, and Draugr would be lying if he said he wasn't interested in where it lead to. The Sith Master watched as he waited for the guards to be dealt with, once they were disposed and the path was clear the Sith Master would open the door with the advisor's hand and then throw him onto the floor in the middle of the room surrounded by celebrating officials in Braxor's entourage.

Their faces swiftly changing from laughing and talking about their success in their plan to an immediate face of terror. They were certain their plans to kill the Sith were likely going to succeed. By surprise to them their plan was flawed, and had failed. If they were smarter they wouldn't have done it at all.

"Braxor... Show yourself fool."

The crowd of individuals quiet as one man would walk out in front of them. His face had a scar from the forehead down to the middle of his cheek on his left eye. The eye itself milky almost completely grey and white. A human, and tall. He was thin, but toned. Wearing all black dress clothes. The man had a bit of a stubble but it was well kept.

"You Sith.. how dare you come here and expect us to give our allegiance to the Empire."

He stood with fear in himself, but on the outside he had a stance of confidence. It was a show of territorial behavior, he wasn't ready to lose his unlimited power on the planet, and knew if he served the Empire everything would change. Draugr was sure the man was fearful, but he was prideful. The likelihood of getting him to agree was low, almost zero. So instead he would give the dictator of Targon a chance.

"Give me your best champion.. he will face Acolyte Wodan in a chance to keep your planet to yourself. We win, you bend the knee.. we lose, well we leave. What say you?"

Draugr was sure Wodan wouldn't be fond of the idea, but the chances they had a warrior strong enough to take on an Acolyte with the skills he has seen was unlikely.

"Fair enough trade... Someone bring Kramorr in here."

"But sir-"

"Do it!"

Braxor stared the man down who tried to reason with the dictator, and with a reluctant and fearful nod the man walked away to grab the champion of Targon. Draugr would stand next to Wodan ready to see what comes of this.

Draugr made a flashy entrance as was expected of the Sith Master, Wodan himself followed behind. His eyes flashing back down the way of the corridor to look for any advancing guards, the Acolyte being disappointed by the lack of any advancing adversaries. Instead he would have to make do with the interesting conversation happening between the Sith Master and the Dictator.

Braxor had balls, Wodan would give him that, the Dictator would know that whatever means he had devised to kill the Sith had failed and that he now faced down two relative Super Soldiers with nothing but politicians and spokesman to throw at the pair if a fight broke out. The Firrerrian smiled at the confidence, even if it was masking a bucket ton of fear beneath the surface.

Wodan’s eyes grew wide at Draugr’s plan of single combat, it wasn’t an uncommon practice amongst the Sith, but it wasn’t something Wodan was expecting to come about today. He would turn to the Sith Master, eyes furrowed in confusion, “I wasn’t expecting that turn of events, Master Draugr.” He replied calmly.

It took some time for this Kramorr to appear in the room, he was not what Wodan had expected. Considering the brash nature of the Dictator he had expected Kramorr to be a hulking wall of muscle, seven foot tall with skin criss crossed with scars. To the contrary Kramorr looked even more dangerous. The Zeltron was just over six foot tall, so had a fair few inches on the Acolyte, his frame was wirey yet dense, every part of him was pure sinew and muscle, not an ounce of fat on the creature. He was a killing machine that was for sure.

“Weapons?” He asked both Kramorr and the Dictator. The former shifted his gaze over to the latter who answered. “I'll permit it, but no lightsabers.” Great, that was the only weapon he had on him, what he wouldn’t do for his spear right about now.

As the champion of Targon had come in, it wasn't anything Draugr expected but it would do nonetheless. If the Sith Master had no belief in Wodan he would have taken the spot himself. So he would stand by and watch as they figured out their rules for engagement. Weapons allowed, yet no lightsabers. Sounded like they wanted to give the Targon side an advantage on top of the home court.

This was going to be interesting. The Acolyte had a couple options. Play fair and let the Targon Champion have a good shot at actually killing the boy, or play dirty. The Sith know all too well how good playing dirty is for the Empire. Draugr would watch suitingly and was prepared to kill any guards incoming or any interfering individuals with the fight. If Wodan would look to Draugr for any advice all he would receive would be a nod. What he did with that was up to him.

As for the Targon Champion, he would be handed two hand axes with what looked liked vibroblade ends. Dangerous weapons, and now Wodan would have to be ready as the Zeltron ran in and swung his left axe at the Acolyte coming in with a following attack of his right hand axe afterwards to try to catch Wodan on the dodge.

The bystanders looked on with fear, they were relying heavily on the Zeltron to bring them victory as he was their last line of defense.

As Kramorr prepared himself for combat, stretching and practising his cuts Wodan scanned the room. They had not given the Acolyte the choice of a different weapon considering they had removed from the play the only one he had. Instead Wodan would have to source his own method of dispatching the warrior.

There were plenty of Force options, try and choke the man, or perhaps sending bolts of lighting at him. However he was not a hundred percent versed in either of those techniques, not enough to completely incapacitate the man in the time it would take him to advance across the makeshift battle ground and slice him in two. No Wodan needed something instantaneous.

A smile crept over his face as he finalised his plan, Kramorr moved into place as Wodan began channelling The Force into himself. Once again Draugr was a perfect conduit for moving the Dark Side towards him. As the fight began Wodan quickly shot out his hand, gripping hold of the blaster on the belt of the Dictator, with a simple tug the weapon flew across the hall and into his hand.

Pulling the trigger twice, blaster bolts embedded themselves in both Kramorr’s heart and skull. The fighter skidded to a halt a few inches away from the Acolyte's feet. Chucking the blaster on top of the dead body he looked up at the Dictator with a warm smile.

The fight had begun. It was finally underway. Not as Draugr had originally envisioned this mission going at all, but he wasn't complaining. He was able to sit back and watch as a Sith warrior fights what is supposed to be the best of Targon. Something about this felt like the battle would be a good fight. Hopefully Wodan doesn't lose thi-

Just then a couple blaster shots went off and the lifeless corpse of the Zeltron fell to the ground sliding, and stopping at the feet of the Sith Acolyte. Draugr smiled holding back a laugh. How anti climatic. Was this what the strength of Targon is right now? So weak? So.. pathetic? Seems the Empire will have to make a warriors planet out of these people.

The Sith Master looked at Braxor as he passed Wodan, and stepped over the Zeltron's body. The Dathomirian looked on at the likes of the rest of Braxor's men. There was fear surrounding the room. The fear that the two Sith would just murder them. Draugr wished to heavily. Something about these men made him angry. Disgusted him too. But they could prove to be useful. Maybe with the right motivations they would serve the Empire until they lied in their graves. It was time to find out.

"All those here who wish to live, and serve the Empire... kneel before me."

Looking around the men had only a couple kneel and bow their head. Then a couple to the right and couple to the left. Before long the only ones standing were Braxor and a few of his loyalists. Braxor's eyes filled with disdain. So much hatred within him. It swarmed around him. Draugr could feel every bit of it. Such satisfaction came from it, the dark sider was now sure of who all would betray the Empire so soon.

"Wodan.. kill the ones kneeling.."

Smoke was still rising from the blaster holes in the fighter's corpse as Draugr chuckled and rose to his feet. Adrenaline and Force energy still pumped through the Sith Acolyte, his eyes flicking from guard to guard, he fully expected for the rest of the armed detachment within the room to attack.

Fear however seemed to hold them all at bay, if Wodan could do this, a lowly Acolyte, what could a Sith Master do? Wodan kept his position near the centre of the room as Draugr advanced on Braxor covering the Zabrak’s back less the others finally break from their trance and attack.

Wodan’s head spun on the Red Zabrak as he commanded him to kill all who submitted to the pair. He took a step forward as if to challenge his decision, why kill willing subordinates? They could be useful. But he bit his lip, understanding this was a statement, one to shock the world into fear, if he had Wodan had his own way he would handle it differently. But he was just an Acolyte today.

“As you wish Master Draugr.” Holding out his hand, the blaster resting on Kramorr’s body snapped into his hand once again. From his position in the centre of the room, he began firing. It was quicker and more efficient than using his lightsaber. But still some tried to make for the exit, running in a panic as he continued to gun them down one by one.

It was soothing hearing the blasts being made, and the screams of horror. Guards had finally shown up and Draugr would use the force to seal the doors. Now it was only, Braxor and three loyalists. The Zabrak looked at them as they wept for their fallen brethren. Bodies lying everywhere. With a stern tone of voice Draugr would command Braxor to kneel. As well as his loyalists.

"Kneel..."

The tear soaked eyes of the Dictator would look downward toward the ground. Stunned by the sight of his friends murdered, and by the sheer power of the Sith, he knelt. Pain filled his entire being, and he was left empty and frightened. Only a few people left to defend he knew he could defend them by complying. As he knelt his followers were kneeling behind him as well. So much defiance for the same outcome Draugr would force into effect. The Zabrak would smirk as they did, and then look to Wodan.

"Remember.. power is power."

Then with a chuckle he would look to Braxor as he knelt broken,

"Clean this mess up Targonian. And welcome to the Empire, we look forward to working with you in the future."

"Yes... Master Druagr..."

Then with a release of the door he would send lightning through the hall frying the guards in the way. And he made his way out of the room and eventually out of the building. Leaving the newly appointed Governor for the Sith to get Targon into Imperial shape. Should Wodan have any questions, the Zabrak would happily answer.

The screams slowly died off as one by one the fleeing individuals fell to his blaster, after about a minute the last gargled breath of dying being ended. Leaving them all in silence as Draugr finally made the Dictator kneel before him and the Sith Empire. A shiver ran through his spine as the Sith Master addressed him, his voice callus and cold.

Then they were gone, the strength of the Sith had bowed the Targon Dictator and once again another planet had been folded under the red banner of the Empire. Another blast of killing proceeded their departure from the audience chamber. Wodan was a step behind the Sith Master as he made his way for the exit.

Once they were beyond the hearing of the few survivors of the massacre Wodan spoke. “Was it wise to keep them alive? No doubt they resent you, no matter how cowed they are now, Braxor looked too proud to not plot betrayal in the future.” Turning a corner they neared the elevator shaft they had destroyed on the way up.

“Would it not be more prudent to replace him with one loyal to the Empire?”

As the pair had walked off, Wodan seemed to have a few questions after all. Which they were fairly placed. In most cases loyal subjects are the most worthy of being set upon a seat of power like that. It made the most sense to have a faithful, and loyal, and willing follower as the Governor of Targon. So why did Draugr do what he did? Or well have Wodan do what he did?

"Braxor has the leadership skills required to get the job done. His followers switching loyalty so quickly just showed how quickly they could change their loyalty once more. Perhaps if the New Republic came and offered them something they liked, they would change up on us. Are you getting the picture now Acolyte Wodan?"

Draugr's point was valid. If a follower switched so quickly on Braxor, they would switch up just as quick for the Empire of which they had no emotional ties to. Where as Braxor would rule Targon for the Empire under fear. Fear of what would happen should he betray the Empire. Could it still be a possibility he plots against them? Sure. Was it as likely as a betrayal behind the back from a faithless grunt? Not as much.

"I did what I did to ensure that Targon remains Imperial territory for a longer time rather than a shorter time. I'm sure an argument against my process could be made but this was my decision. That is final. Any further questions?"

Draugr wasn't upset with Wodan, the young man gave decent points and had a valid thought process. It was respectable so letting him continue to ask questions was out of interest in what he may have to say. The Zabrak was sure he would make a good leader one day, but for now he learned and learned. This was good.

Wodan walked in silence as Draugr gave his response, the Firrerrian Noble doubted some of the Sith Masters logic. If Braxor was the best person for the job, why did pretty much all his subjects elect to switch sides at a moment's notice? He wondered this, but thought it prudent to keep his mouth shut, less the violent ‘Red Blade of the Empire’ let out some of his aggression on the Acolyte.

They had achieved what they had set out to, Targon was now folded into the Empire’s sphere, granted it would take a little longer for it to be fully invested within their system. But Wodan would keep an eye on one of his early conquests for months to come just encase Braxor or any of his minions stepped out of line.

“No further questions Mi’Lord.” He replied, giving the man a small bow of his head.

It seemed the questions were all answered now. Draugr had been able to get the young Acolyte to understand. On paper that would be. The Zabrak knows a face of doubt when he sees one, but the Acolyte had accepted the answer he was given. Honestly it didn't bother Draugr what Wodan thought, just that he learned there's more than one way to skin a cat and this happened to be the way Draugr saw best fit. If this were a true problem something would have been said, instead there was silence. So onward he went.

"I'm glad we have an understanding. Now let's return and inform the Empire of our succession."

The pair would hop back onto their ship and began their travels back to the Imperial Palace and debrief the mission to the superiors. Another mission, another victory. This was just another in a long line of what was to come. In the future Draugr would be Lord hopefully, and bring much more victories in to the Empire. Wodan would seek the rank Champion soon. An accomplishment worth while. He would have many more responsibilities and would have to prepare for what is expected of him. The Zabrak wished him the best in his endeavors and would watch his progression closely.
