Since we're hitting everyone's winter breaks, I figured now would be a good time to start up the second round.

How should we proceed here? Each faction pick one target, Republic pick two, flip a coin, sacrifice a goat for clarity?

What format should we keep it? I'm personally an advocate of the style we had before with multiple threads per planet.

How should we handle reinforcements? Got out of control on both sides, and we should probably figure out a rough NPC amount per PC.

Should we introduce our third faction of :bitchez, a race of biologically engineered, extragalactic fanatics immune to the Force?

What about an Abrion sector offensive? While you need to take some deeper planets, you need to secure more planets around Bothawui. What about a seige battle?

The republic is well entrenched on a planet, it won't be one thread that decides it. Multiple objectives spanning many threads decide how the success or failure of the planets invasion goes.

Small skirmishes are more possible with the blur in the line. Republic and Hutt patrols clash in the surrounding systems of Bothawui as the Hutts search for an opening while the Republic desperately forms a new front to counter.

Reinforcements are probably being moved to each front as quickly as the two sides can muster them.

The Hutt's continue to lead with their fearsome Taung, who still seem unstoppable, except against Jedi, who are the only ones truly capable of defeating these fabled brutes.

As I understand the Republic wants to do a counter strike against Bothawui, so technically speaking that fight isn't over yet. That could count as one of the conflicts, though I think a new front would be interesting too- maybe we can look for planets with a special characteristic like:

Hoth (Snow)
Nkllon (Weird volcano stuff if I remember from Rogue Squadron)
Yag'Dhul (Zero atmosphere)

Bothawui anything has been called dibs by Ru and myself to do a one on one chess game-like battle.

I'm all for a Bothawui counter attack. I plan on incorporating a stronger Jedi presence this time.

I think another Bothawai attack would be a good idea. It makes sense for the Republic to do that rather than letting the Hutts keep moving forward.

Apparently there was a Bac vs. Sin battle of Coruscant...would I be possible to do the bothawui battle or another in that one vs. one style?

Perhaps on the planet of Bothawui, the locals and any remaining Republic could try and continue to fight off the attacking Hutts who are probably landing in far greater numbers. So maybe some massive sort of land battle could be going on all across the planet though probably primarily in the Capital as it'd hold the current Bothan government.

And of course, the Republic and Jedi would swoop in to try and stop the Hutts as they are landing troops and supporting the invasion.

Elsewhere in the Galaxy, maybe the Republic or Hutts could send some small diversionary forces just to distract the other force. Probably commanded by some captain or other mid ranking leader. Also, perhaps the Bogan could get involved again and maybe conduct another attack on the Jedi or the Republic.

The Bogan aren't really in a position to get involved yet. Darksaber would take care of that.

I'm not a fan of one on one battles, because it leaves a lot of people out.

Calist's idea for supporting a Bothan rebellion would be cool, that might be something S13 and Jedi would do.

I can definitely see S13 being involved on that. Would be interesting.

I really love this resistance on Bothawai plan. It's something the site's never really done before and could make for a number of good story threads.

Go find some keener like Crunchy to replace me as S13 head and get rollin' with this.
