She hadn't spoken much since her arrival at the temple. She had kept to herself, not immersed within the chaos that raged within the minds of her fellow pupils. It was almost barbaric, and she thought it beneath her. Of course, she did not voice these thoughts. Her comfort came from solitude, and being left to dwell upon her own private thoughts. Her thoughts ranged everywhere from her former life, to him, and now to her current predicament. She felt alone, extremely alone, though he told her this was her path and she had to walk it alone.
She hadn't looked back since. He had left no means of contact. He did not turn to look at her once as he left, disappearing from her life as silently as he had arrived in it. And so, she took the liberty to venture around the temple, always with the eerie sense of being watched constantly. She ignored the prickling feeling, a slight nudge in the Force that told her she was never truly left to privacy.
She was currently in an unused training room, roaming as a shadow within the dark halls. Her elegant fingers grazed over the walls, the shelves and finally her eyes came to rest upon a small hilt. She silently reached for it, looking around herself to see if anyone was watching. She lifted the hilt and pressed the emitter. A crimson plasma hue projected immediately, the heat emanating onto her features to illuminate them in the dark room. She switched the saber off, and then back on. She said nothing, moving the saber in languid motions, following the ruby blur with her eyes. It was hypnotizing, and the gentle hum of the saber was comforting in a way. She slowly lost track of where she was and what she was doing, zooming the saber back and forth in front of her. She did not know how to use it yet. She quickly switched it off and for a moment pondered stealing it.
