DESCRIPTION​

The passion project of Asmodius Rasmus, the Rasmus-Class Assault Ship was designed by said designer and produced by Allegra Enterprise Systems in an attempt to capitalize on a surge of 'Anti-Imperialism' that rose after the end of the Final Order. To that end, the Rasmus was designed as a gunship capable of matching Imperial gunships of the same size while carrying on the 'tradition' of Rebel and Resistance ships of being very customizable in terms of after-purchase modifications.

Despite being a very solidly built ship, the Rasmus-Class Assault Ship was often considered 'scruffy looking' because of the design choice to emulate late stage Rebellion and Resistance ships. This had the effect of tanking the sales of the ship when it came to the New Republic, which wanted to focus on a sleek look to legitimize their new naval forces, and increasing them in the Mid and Outer Rim. They were typically picked up for cheap from Inner Rim sellers who priced them low because they appeared to be of lower quality.

They sold like hot cakes at the edge of the Galaxy however and Allegra Enterprise Systems was able to lower the initial purchase price and make an absolute killing in the Mid and Outer Rim markets. As such the Rasmus-Class Assault Ship is actually a fairly common sight in backwater planetary defense fleets, armed trading company convoys and pirate squads alike.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. Due to their military-grade systems and armament, some extra licensing is generally required for a civilian to fly this ship legally. Such permits are relatively straightforward to get in most systems, however. However, some of the modifications made to this ship make it illegal in some regards though these have to be discovered first and this ship does not draw a lot of attention if any.

INTENT​

To create a personal beginning transport for my character that is a common sight and allows them to relatively travel undetected. This ship and others will be part of his in-sheeps'-clothing project. Perfect for smugglers and people on the run. P.S. The Beloved Lance translates to Cyare Beviin in Mando'a. Rasmus also comes from a real world name meaning 'beloved'. Based off of the rasmus class assault ship. Threads and storys will be built around this ship. Hopefully it will take awhile to gain a reputation. Ssshhhh.
