Eriadu

Much has happened in Emryc's absence and Tiamat had to take a moment to think exactly how much had happened. However, thinking was still difficult, and she decided to remember things later; if it came to her when she saw him, then it must be worth to speak about it. Even in the weeks following the prison break, her mind still carried a fog and her body felt sluggish. She was told in time things would return to normal, but impatience was a weakness for the young Sith Lord, she demanded much from herself and it was a trait that has served her well so far. There was another anxiety that lingered over thoughts, she was uncertain of what it was until she was required to debrief; she felt in her lapse of strength...vulnerable was a more accurate description. Though it served as motivation to encourage her to work harder, the time it would take to get back to where she was prior to Byblos was enough to leave her worry about being expendable.

In addition, it did not help since everything that had transpired she was not as cheerful as she wished herself to be; she knew some of it was not feeling well from the withdrawals, but even so, she preferred the solitude in her recovery. There was some help to returning to her routine; over three months of unable to practice any of it made her hunger for more than what she could handle, overexerting herself, receiving lectures about rest from the doctors and then back off to doing her own thing.

Cleansing, katas, drills, repentance, meditation, and then research, however, on this day, she decided to forgo the research portion and take the time to see Emryc. She had been wanting to do so since leaving the prison, however, she was met with her own hesitation and decided to wait until she was feeling more like herself. She carried a small box with cupcakes and was dressed comfortably, probably would be referenced as frumpy by Emryc's standards. Her red hair outlined her face and draped over her shoulders, feeling a liberation to be able to brush and style it again after months of letting it turn into a womprat's nest. When she arrived, she waited patiently for him to answer and there was the anticipation that bubbled beneath the surface as she wished for him to give her his unyielding gaze. Habits and quirks that once seemed to annoy her, she deeply missed all this time.

Emryc had been pondering his next move ever since he returned. He knew he had the Eternal in a strange conundrum. On one hand it despised Emryc, on the other Emryc had struck a symbolic blow against the Rangers and had managed to retrieve two Sith Lords. While normally capture was seen as failure, the two in question had been exceptionally valuable. Well, at least one of them. Emryc had his doubts about the legless Asminys. The thought of the half man crawling out of a prison still drew chuckles from the half Sephi.

He had no intention of returning to the space station anytime soon and risking his ship again. It was risky to keep it here, and he would move it elsewhere as soon as he got himself clearances. The Eternal had considered stripping him of his title, but had been advised against it by the council. He hung on by a thread and had to take measured steps.

When he heard someone at his door, he paused and pondered on whether or not it was someone coming for his ship again. Spikes of rage coursed through him, but he told himself he would handle it directly instead of accepting it this time. That Jedi managed to teach Emryc a lot more than he would ever know.

The door hissed open and Tiamat would find herself staring at an even taller and broader man with a tan face, a beard and longer hair. The eyes, however, were unmistakable and they looked directly at her own. Emryc stared at her for a moment, dressed in his hoodie that fit tighter this time. And of course pants that were above his ankles yet again. He had no room to talk about frumpy, but he certainly smelled nice again.

Silver gaze flicked from her face down to the box in her hands and his eyes grew visibly wider.

“Are those…” He unceremoniously took the box from her before stepping back to let her in. Emryc stood there and grabbed a cupcake, actually using his hand and taking a bite. Some of the icing got on his beard, but he focused on enjoying the cupcake. Being a fisherman meant his bare hands handled rather disgusting things and his OCD had calmed down quite a bit.

He housed a cupcake and used some napkins to clean off his face before getting a satisfied look on his face. Emryc glanced back at Tiamat and blinked.

“Hi.”

She had thought it was just the armor that gave the illusion that he was taller, but reality was, he was several inches higher as well as wider than she last had seen him. It felt odd having to need to tilt her head back just a little bit further to see beyond his beard and back into his silver eyes as they met her own. The redhead remained in silence as she took him in finally after all this time, a small smile pulled at the corner of her lip. She noticed him taking a glance down at the box she was holding and held it out for him to take it, not wasting a moment to dive into the goodies that laid inside.

Tia smirked as he stepped aside, allowing her to enter his ship; she had heard he had gotten it back, but was doubtful it was the same one. She walked further inside, a look of determination on her face to decide if it was really his ship or some decoy used in place of his original one. It irked her in some way that he had it back, not in the fact she did not believe he deserved to have it, but what was the catch. What were the conditions that the Eternal allowed for this to occur. There was a focused look that washed over her face as she heard Emryc say 'hi'. She did not answer right away as her thoughts seemed to be distracted as she turned slowly, eyeing the hull carefully for a moment before she turned to face him.

The smile returned as she noted he had absolutely inhaled one of the cupcake, but surprised to the fact he did not bother using the fork inside the box and there was icing on his beard until he wiped it clean. Her eyes flickered to his sweatpants and her lips pursed in annoyance that the hems were above his ankles, but he was present and that convinced her all would be well.

"Hey." she grinned wider and stepped to him, opening the lid of the box to grab a cupcake for herself, "I hope these taste good, I had to throw out the first batch because I spaced on putting in enough flour." she frowned and then took a bite, her smile returning as licked off the frosting, "I missed you." she finally stated.

Emryc watched her take a cupcake of her own and he briefly considered taking another. He stopped himself in the end, thinking about how deceptively low sweet they were. Emryc stared at the cakes for a moment before he began to walk towards the lounge area of his ship.

He paused when she spoke, turning to regard his reflection against a metal plating of the wall as he passed. He glanced at himself and ran his fingers through his hair and angled his face to regard the beard.

“Yeah, I missed me too,” He said with a grin before tilting his head towards her to flash her a wink.

Emryc kept walking till they arrived at the lounge area and he set the cupcakes down on a table. He didn’t miss her glancing every now and then down to his pants, amusement glinting in his eyes as a result. Emryc walked over to plop down on his couch. His couch. He couldn’t be more content.

The half Sephi stared at her blankly for a moment, "I'm flattered you were so heartbroken about my absence that you planted yourself in a Ranger prison for me to rescue," Emryc stated flatly. He propped his feet up on the table in front of him, bringing out his datapad. He was delighted about all his apps and games again.

She watched as he debated about taking another cupcake but instead headed further into the ship, pausing to look at his reflection as he responded, deciding he missed himself also. Tia's brow narrowed in unamusement, her grin faded quickly into a frown before he turned to give her a wink. The redhead shook her head and followed him to the lounge area, watching him take a seat on the couch. She paused however, ready to follow suit, but the idea of sitting sounded unappealing. The length of time she spent in the Jedi prison was much of only sitting or laying down; there were the rare moments of walking a couple feet to one end of the cell to the other, but it miniscule in comparison. Additionally, areas of her backside were feeling more raw as she waited for her wounds to naturally heal. The idea of anything resting against it in the meantime brought unease even to the thought of it.

Instead as Emryc got comfortable, she remained standing, her eyes falling onto the pantlegs again as they seemed to creep higher on his legs as he put up his feet. She could feel his gaze on her as she slowly stepped around the sofa, carefully looking around recalling it was nearly as it was the last time she were on his ship. There was still an uneasiness as to why the Eternal was so compliant in letting him have it back. Though it was always the possibility it were a natural dose of paranoia and suspicion as required while being a Sith, but her conversation with the Dark Lord and what she knew from what Emryc told her previously made her instincts fire.

"It won't happen again." she stated, matching the flatness that was in her tone, "Though I was surprised." she admitted, eyebrows raising in her thoughts as she recalled even how she questioned if the experience was real, "Who gave the order? I was fairly convinced the Sith did not like damaged goods and surely getting hauled off by Rangers and Jedi communicates I was inadequate in some way." Tia paused and took a bite of her cupcake, chewing a little more slowly than usual, finding her appetite was still not what she wished it to be.

Emryc glanced up as she walked around instead of sitting down. Though he found it odd, he made no comment on it immediately. His gaze switched back to his datapad as he fired a bunch of blaster bolts into some AMS infected. He listened to everything Tiamat said, quirking an eyebrow at her question while his gaze gaze remained on the screen.

“It wasn’t ordered,” He said flatly, “I just did it,” Emryc glanced up at her again after his level was won. He could tell there was a lot to process from breaking out of prison. Emryc was simply glad no one was asking him how he had his sight returned - that was going to be an awkward explanation. The half Sephi blinked a few times before returning to his game.

“You’re walking around as if you have a pole up your ass,” The half Sephi observed casually. Emryc turned around so his legs were on the couch instead and he leaned back slightly into the armrest.

He just did it...

Her lips pursed as her thoughts broke down what that could possibly mean in the long run; it was risky, he put his life on the line to rescue her even if she thought she were expendable at the time. It was hard to believe that he would just do something just because, then again, his simplicity made it difficult for her to understand anything he did. She chewed on the idea that the stunt at the prison may have earned him enough favor with the Eternal to keep him out of trouble for now. She knew the Eternal wanted him, even offering a prize for her efforts if she were to find him.

He made a comment about her walking before shifting on the sofa to lay his head against the armrest and Tiamat scoffed, "I have been sitting and laying down in that prison for three months. If I want to walk around as if I have a pole up my ass, then I will absolutely walk around as though I have a pole up my ass, Emryc." she stated firmly, watching him as he continued to engage with his game on the datapad.

"They feared what they did not know about me in there." she continued, slowly stepping around the lounge, her voice becoming less stern as she went on, "It works very well by the way, Darth Kravos' mind fortress." Tia eyed a chair adjacent from Emryc, the thought of sitting floated through her mind, but it made her uneasy, "Absolutely fascinated the Jedi and it took down a Jedi Master." she hummed. It was the last thing she remembered seeing before being hit by the stun bolts as she watched Jedi Master Voran collapse with her.

Emryc shrugged vaguely as Tiamat defiantly declared how she would walk, “I’m thrilled you’ve at least groomed yourself and put on deodorant,” He remarked dryly, “I could smell you through my helmet in there,” He stretched and got comfortable on the couch.

The half Sephi grinned at the thought of the Kravos teachings being effective. Emryc thought of the Jedi that would have attempted to delve into her mind and find it lashing back at them. The teachings were powerful, but they had their limits. If powerful Jedi teamed up or it had been a Jedi like back at the village, her mind would have become an open book.

Emryc grabbed a remote and switched on the Holo, flipping through till it landed on a Huttball channel. Silver gaze flicked over, instantly enthralled by seeing the screen. He had missed screens for almost a year and it was as if he were experiencing it all for the first time.

“Didn’t want your hypergate knowledge getting out,” Emryc admitted after a while, “I wanted to get you out before they found new ways to crack you.”

Emryc, of course, had no idea that she had already given the Eternal information on the hypergates.

His dry sarcasm brought a scowl to her face, but Tiamat knew to say anything to counter was futile effort. She watched as he stretched, getting comfortable before turning on the holo as he seemed bored of his game. Of course, she felt a bit awkward like many times before, his attention turned elsewhere and she felt she was well...just there. Denon must have did a real number on him and she filed away that if he concussed, he at least acted like he cared that she was there. However, he would speak again, this time adding to his reason to break her out.

He did not want her hypergate knowledge getting out...

Tiamat decided to now sit down as the Huttball game played on; she felt her thoughts race in all directions, not knowing where to process first. There was of course the uneasiness of just sitting down, the idea of someone coming from around the corner with cuffs to ensure she would never stand again still lurked in the back of her thoughts. There was no relaxing, especially when she nearly touched her back to the chair and decided against it, wincing at the slightest brush of her sweater.

Then there was reason he came and got her, but she did not understand why he cared so much. It was her research after all and it would not matter in the end. The Eternal knew about the hypergates, she had known it was only a matter of time she would be called to explain herself. She found a lock of her hair and started to gently wrap it around her finger as she looked for some direction in how to break it to Emryc...though she even debated if it mattered if where to know about her meeting with the Eternal.

"It doesn't matter who knows, let alone it shouldn't matter if it matters to you. Its not you who did the research, created a whole new quantum mathematic program to solve the holes, write out the algorithms and codes, find where they were located, map it out, or even cry over failed work." she felt a little irritated it was just about what she created he wanted to protect, "Its not for you to worry about. Just me, let me worry about it." she sighed and leaned back in her seat, completely forgetting why she wasn't in the first place.

Tiamat inhaled deeply and in a controlled breath, searching for her calm, she exhaled, "Should have left me there, let them crack me open, it would be the Eternal's problem anyways."

Emryc listened to Tiamat’s tirade, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. He normally had a lot of patience, but meeting that exceptionally attractive Jedi had fundamentally shifted how he thought in a lot of ways. The half Sephi remained silent nonetheless, getting the waves of emotions from the bond he shared with Tiamat. He pointedly ignored it, the feedback always placid as ever when it flowed back to her.

His gaze remained on the Holo as she spoke, his jaw tightening slightly at her very last words. Defeatist talk like that generally made his blood boil. His fingers curled slightly, but they soon relaxed. Emryc exhaled quietly, watching his team score once more. Silence hung for a few seconds as it normally did when engaging Emryc in conversation.

“Did you come here just to gripe at me?” He asked flatly, finally looking over at her. Silver eyes expressed hints of irritation in them. It was obvious he was in no mood for drama, and her last line was quite possibly one of the most obnoxious things she had ever said. Especially after he had risked his life. Emryc’s eyes flicked to the left and then back at her, “Because the door’s that way.”

It was entirely typical of Tiamat to never appreciate anything anyone ever did for her. She had made everything about herself and Emryc’s patience was already wearing thin. Raze hadn’t disappeared entirely from him and that side of him had almost no tolerance for angst. Emryc’s eyes were frigid as he looked at her, very similar to the early days of them meeting.

“I’m not the person you come to when you need a shoulder to cry on, Tiamat.”

She glanced down at the cupcake she had been nibbling on and set it down next to the box as there was suddenly some congruence with his uninterest of her presence and inviting her to leave if she kept it up her poor attitude. She could feel his eyes on her, but she did not look at him as her brow narrowed, her heart felt like it was going to start pounding out of her chest as she tried to quickly figure out what to say.

"No. I don't cry for anyone." she firmly stated, though her words sounded more of a reminder to herself, a mantra she used when Emryc first disappeared, "No, something just does not feel right and I cannot figure it out." she dug her nails into the top of her thighs, finding some way to ground herself. Her gaze swept across the walls of the lounge of his ship before falling back onto him, "How did...?" she recognized his icy gaze, she knew she was irritating him and she paused. Her heart felt like it was beating in her throat and there was the urge to stand and pace, feeling as though if she were to sit still long enough, the walls would trap her in place. Slowly she felt herself begin to withdraw into herself as she searched for her calm.

She didn't realize though she stood up when she looked back at Emryc and quickly stepped out of the way to ensure she did not disrupt his viewing of Huttball.

"I didn't come over to just gripe at you, I wanted to see how you were, but you seem fine...back to yourself, because you were saying some odd things after Denon." she explained, pacing slowly behind the couch where he was laying, "Then you were gone..." she paused, "Gone longer than it felt it would be ok, I thought the Eternal had taken you, I knew you weren't dead, but you were blinded at the time, and the Eternal wanted you out of the picture so I thought the worst would happen." Tiamat explained, "I was summoned because of the portal on Denon and I took a gamble, I looked to earn some favor with the Eternal...to get your ship, and hopefully find some clue to where you were." she stopped in her pace to look around again.

"And here it is...your ship, and you and the Eternal comes out with all it wants, it has my hypergates, and soon, the Dark Lord will eventually come for you." she furrowed her brow and hesitated to continue, "I had decided there was only one way to get back what is mine and protect you...but then I was captured and well...I feel like absolute bantha shit."

Tiamat had his full, undivided attention when she spoke. He had expected her to lash out as usual and to even attack him. He had been calling the Force to himself because this would not be a repeat of Tatooine. He would not hesitate to murder anyone that did anything to purposely damage his ship in any way. There were no exceptions to that rule.

As she kept speaking, however, she would notice the icy sheet began to soften in his eyes. His expression wasn’t borderline angry in nature, and settled back into a comfortable neutral. While it wasn’t exactly overtly positive feedback, she knew him well enough to know that neutral was great for Emryc.

The half Sephi waited till she finished speaking before answering, “Other Sith retrieved my ship,” He explained, not too keen on sharing that it was Morgan and Renfry just yet, “The Eternal had nothing to do with it. It is likely looking for it as we speak, which is why I don’t intend to keep it here.”

Emryc eyed her curiously for a moment before he tilted his head, “What...odd things did I say after Denon?” It perplexed him. He recalled being very angry and hopped up on meds, but had he really said anything strange?

Her brow twitched, narrowing quickly, but relaxing when he informed that there were other Sith who had retrieved it for him and was certain the Eternal was actively looking for it now. She looked around again, "Did it get swept?" she quickly muttered wondering if it had been bugged just in case in the Eternal's paranoia that Emryc returned for his ship and it would know where he went and what he spoke about. She looked at him again, seeing the irritation fade from his gaze; she did not feel any better, there was still what felt to be a knot in her gut as she listened to him, now seeming more interested and more so with what he had said to her post-Denon.

Tiamat's lips pursed in thought, "Everything...everything was odd." she wasn't even sure where to start and hearing his curiosity, she felt at least better knowing it was probably from the meds they had him on for the pain, "You made everything you say sound like 'this was it', that you could blink out of existence at any moment. You made me promise I would do things like practicing my Katas, don't be stubborn, and don't plot revenge." she scratched at her head as she tried to recall what they did that evening, "You gave me like dozens of compliments, one about the cupcakes, which you ate two in one night, and then I tried to tell you that you were being weird and you were like 'nah, its me.'"

Then she smiled, a small giggle bubbled as she continued to think, "You have a hard time getting me to stop asking questions when you can't give me that look." Tiamat slowed her pace, "Is that something Sephi do?" she asked remembering the Sephi Jedi at the prison, "Because there was this Jedi who had the same gaze, I swear."

Emryc quirked an eyebrow as she explained everything. He was silent for all of it, and even for some seconds after that. The half Sephi shrugged vaguely, “I knew I was going to be gone a while,” Emryc eyed her for a moment, “Since my compliments have obviously unsettled you, I will be sure not to do it again,” He stated flatly, crossing his arms over his chest. Why were women so damn confusing?

He shrugged at the Sephi question. Truthfully, he didn’t know much about Sephi or his origins. His head tilted back towards the Huttball game as his team scored yet again. Emryc was silent for a while, his mind wandering over to unpleasant thoughts.

He deflected instead, turning back to grin at Tiamat, “Far more likely you simply missed me and were imagining my eyes everywhere.”

To the relief of the Sith office staff on Eriadu, Stolas' mood had been much improved since shortly after Raze's return. Something about the way he'd been looking at basically anyone and everything had made personnel nervous, particularly after what had happened on Drommund Kaas. But now he seemed much like his usual professional self behind his desk and was back to speaking with polite but firm authority that they much preferred.

Morgan didn't doubt it had something to do with the frequent visits to his boyfriend aboard his ship. He often went there instead of his very packed up apartment and besides, it was closer and he thought Emryc would rather like to soak up the feeling of home for a while. The half-Sephi had made it clear that Morgan could wander in and out as he wanted, and he did, but he also let the man know it was him before just walking in.

Which was why Emryc would receive a message on his datapad telling him as much seconds before the door chime rang, followed by the hiss of it opening a several moments later. Something of a compromise. There was a brief shuffling as Morgan removed his shoes by the entry ramp. His head cocked as he was pretty sure he heard another person in here, tensing slightly.

Soft socked footsteps took him into the lounge wearing what he considered casual in the form of a button up, trousers, and blazer, a small bag slung over his right shoulder. He blinked as he realized who the other person was and then offered a friendly smile.

"Tia! Didn't know you were here," he greeted, walking over to the both of them. Goldens turned to look at Em lounging where he was, then back again, absorbing little details. "Is this a bad time?"

He knew he was leaving and he did not tell her, usually it was the other way around. She would leave him and be gone, but she always made it point to check in at least. He was gone for nearly a year and she had no clue where he had gone, even believing at first the Eternal was involved with his disappearance. She caught his gaze as he eyed her for a moment, concluding he would no longer compliment and Tiamat quickly interjected, "No, I that's not what I mean, the compliments are fine...its just that..." she glanced to her feet, reaching up to find a lock of her hair and her thoughts trailing for a moment, "I've never heard them like that from you." she continued and paused when she heard the cheers on the holo. As he turned to watch the replay, she paused in her pacing to watch the game.

Emryc turned around and quipped about her seeing his eyes in others. Tia shook her head, trying to think if that was the case. Even under the sedatives, she was more than certain this Jedi looked much like him, just more slender than Emryc. "They asked for my name, they did not think it was funny I told them I was called Hot Trouble." Tiamat sighed, "If that Jedi was just a bit broader, I would have thought it was you, you were gone anyways, I would have considered looking in the Jedi for you." she admitted, "Where did you go anyways?" Tiamat asked and then paused, feeling a familiar presence and soon a familiar face entered the room.

Morgan had arrived and Tiamat felt a brief second of confusion as he greeted her; it took her a moment to figure out her words as she was taken aback by the surprise arrival. "Hi Morgan, yeah, I am just visiting." she answered, walking around the sofa to better look at Emryc and try to figure out if she was impeding on a time reserved for the councilor now, "A bad time?" she looked at Emryc and then back at Morgan, "If you guys have to debrief, I can leave."

Emryc stared at her blankly while she fumbled through her words. The half Sephi blinked a few times. He had a few questions, but decided they all sounded stupid in his head. Was he that poor at paying compliments to where it was considered ‘odd’? Oh well, he didn’t care quite frankly. Emryc focused back on the game for a few moments.

As Tiamat once again latched onto the Jedi she met, he eyed her curiously again. Emryc stared at her for a second or two, “I hope you were drawing counter information from this Jedi instead of just quietly eye kriffing him,” He muttered flatly.

It was fortunate that they were interrupted as Emryc had absolutely no intention of answering the question about where he had been. The half Sephi was busy dealing with Tiamat and hadn’t seen the datapad message, but he knew who it was.

Emryc watched Morgan arrive and there was a visible glint in his eye. His expression softened considerably from its usual grumpy appearance. He kept more or less the same demeanor outside of that. Silver gaze flicked from one to the other as they both had a bit of a contest to out-polite one another. Why the hell did they know each other? Who was he kidding, Morgan was buddies with everyone. The half Sephi had to resist the urge to roll his eyes as he moved his legs off the couch to make room.

“Hmm yes councilor Stolas,” He said as he lit a cigarra, “Darth Raze reporting in to tell you I’ve managed to rescue a smelly sack of shit that didn’t want to be rescued from a Ranger prison,” Emryc exhaled a cloud of smoke before pointing to the box of cupcakes, “Help yourself,” He said to Morgan.

The first thing Morgan noticed was the subtle change on Emryc's features when the Firrerreo made his appearance, the way the muscles of his face softened and shifted along with that look in silver eyes. His own face brightened on sight, his smile warmer. He also noted the way Tia seemed to be standing was different from before, stiffer, and her surprise at Morgan's appearance. "No need. Not here for work," he answered the red-headed woman as he walked into the lounge, depositing his bag and blazer near the couch against a wall.

Golden eyes flicked between the faces of the other two with visible bemusement as his boyfriend spoke. It was clear Tia had said something about his rescuing her that annoyed him before Morgan arrived. He was always straightforward but at the same time the prince was used to Emryc shying away from more crude phrasing around him. Some things in the back of his mind clicked into place related to prior conversations between them.

The Firrerreo automatically took up the emptied space on the couch, getting nice and comfortable in the familiar space by his side. His gaze stayed on Emryc for a moment more before shifting to the cupcakes, then Tiamat. He blinked once and decided to take it in stride.

"Cupcakes are an odd means of complaint," he commented wrly, looking pointedly at Tiamat. She wouldn't have gone through the effort with the intent of expressing such a thing, something he knew from prior conversations and observations. He also knew very well that dancing around a subject with Emryc wasn't the best way to do it.

"Thank you," Morgan added and leaned forward, delicately pulling a cupcake with several napkins to himself with care to avoid stray crumbs or frosting finding the couch. He took a test bite and turned to Emryc. "These are good, aren't they?"

Tiamat was seething despite the change of tone she presented to Morgan, who insisted there was no work to be had on his visit to Emryc; she did her best to control how she spoke, not wanting for Morgan to believe she was upset with him. Things were now a bit awkward though: she was in a foul mood, Emryc was just as much in a foul mood, and then there was Morgan, who she felt probably now had to tiptoe his way around the two Sith Lords to visit.

Her annoyance remained focused on Emryc, who made a snide comment about her being a bag of shit and she was about to open her mouth to snap back, but Morgan spoke about her cupcakes. Tiamat bit her tongue and remained standing, watching Morgan take a seat on the couch near Emryc as he helped himself to a cupcake.

"I told him he should have left me there." she stated, "The Eternal has what it wanted from me and now it knows you're back so it can dispose of you itself, win win for the Dark Lord." Tiamat glanced at Emryc, her fingers curling into her palms, "Now I am back as a sack of shit who needed her teacher to come save her sorry ass before the Jedi learned all her secrets." Her brow narrowed as she crossed her arms and took a seat in an adjacent chair, watching Morgan enjoy the cupcake.

Her thoughts continue stew, "It was a stupid and reckless move, but to ensure you don't put your neck out for leeches like me, I'll return myself to the prison for you." Tiamat glanced at Emryc and then let out sigh. She forgot about the wounds on her back as leaned backwards in her seat, the weight of her back pressing into the cushion. There was a subtle twitch under her eye from the pain that spiked through her body; she worked to ignore it and decided to follow the plumes of smoke that floated from the cigarra, her body tensing from the backlash or the dismissal that she awaited from the Sephi.

Emryc’s gaze flicked to Tiamat in a narrowed scowl. She was one of the very, very few people in the galaxy that knew just how to infuriate the normally stoic half Sephi. He glanced over at Morgan when he spoke about the cupcakes, his expression softening again. He eyed the Firrerreo in silence, watching the delicate way he held the cupcake and avoided touching it.

When Tiamat started speaking, his eyes flicked back over to her and the grumpy expression was instantly back. He bristled at the thought of her having told the Eternal everything, especially as he had specifically told her not to at the hospital. He had told her countless times not to give up anything she cherished. She had done just that. She had made it so the Eternal had the upper hand.

Emryc’s jaw tightened as she repeated those exact same words that made his blood boil. The half Sephi stared back at the Huttball game, silently fuming. Externally his face was perfectly calm and even his eyes were locked in their icy chill. There were only subtle details like the way his fingers flexed or how he sat that would betray the pure rage and fury that brimmed beneath the surface. He was in no mood for her angst and it always unloaded on him. He found himself missing how she had been right before he disappeared.

“Yes, please do, Tiamat,” He stated flatly with his eyes still on the screen, “And while you’re at it, go find that Jedi who has my eyes, get down on your knees and suck his-” His eyes flicked sideways over to Morgan and then back at Huttball. Emryc paused there, exhaling softly before he took another drag from the cigarra and blew out a cloud of smoke in silence.

“The cupcakes are good,” He said quietly after a few seconds, his tone genuine. The cupcakes were damn good.
