Beyond the mural was metal, Larre Praxor had taught his descendants. “You can crack a painting, can crack a statue, but the meaning behind either may never be broken, so long as a Mandalorian remains to maintain it.” It was a creed that sank deep and true for Casany Praxor, all the way from childhood to adulthood; all the way from serving her clan to remembering it as a mere bounty hunter.

She watched the stars fly by from the window of her Winged Pike, exiting hyperspace to realize that she had gone from nowhere to somewhere, somewhere to nowhere, every inch and lightyear a pale comparison of the time and space she had crossed thus far. She was aimless in her journey, traveling between this planet and that moon, hoping something would catch her radar so as to pull her from the darkness of her wandering and reel her back in like a fish caught by a fisherman.

“Stupid,” Cas shook her head, calling into the nothingness of her cockpit. “There’s nothing out there for me… Nothing in here but me…” She sipped from her flask; vodka, potent, but barely tapped into and not enough to render her mind drunk just yet.

“Say again, Cas?” Rawl called over ship-comm.

“Oh!” Cas cleared her throat. “I didn’t mean you. You’re not stupid, Rawl. I mean, I might say you are from time to time but, eh, not this time..?”

“Very reassuring, Cas.”

“As reassuring as my coordinates, I guess. Where…” She fumbled with the console, suddenly realizing she had no idea where she was apart from being near Onderon space, however close or far “...Where are we, again..?”

Flying in The Unforced, Laren sits in his pilots seat within the cockpit. He listened to Cas prove to him she had not given her full attention to his brief. “We are meeting with a member of a crime family within the Five Syndicates. I heard talks that they have Nexu Cubs and I look forward to having one of my own.”

This was his first time meeting with a crime family member, but he figured it couldn’t be as bad as a Sith. The place of interest was in fact Onderon. Of course they would have to be quiet and on the down low due to it being within FWA space. Sector Rangers would love to hop in the chance to arrest for such a thing.

“We’ll be landing on Onderon shortly after they send me the coordinates of where to meet. And be prepared to do something in return for them selling the Nexu.” This was Laren’s chance to cash in the favor that Cas owed him. Sometimes it pays off being a heavy drinker. Although it definitely knocked him out later on. “Hope you’re ready for this.” He knew she would be. After all she’s one of his own. “If we need to you can call up old boy from the cantina. I know you two know each other well.” He was fond of the Mando he had met then and hoped this would be an opportunity to truly have a friendship grow.

The kind of relationships Mandalorians could forge between one another was as strong as the iron that Cas herself had forged when making her skin. Bonds of steel could never be broken and the ties that bound them could not be torn. There was yet no telling what kind of relationship was being forged between Casany Praxor and Laren Vano but one thing was for certain: he was not going to forget about drinking her under the table anytime soon.

To be fair, she had a headstart; she had already been drinking herself beside the table by the time his ass had entered the cantina. Any other day? Well, it was all she could do to smile and wait for the rematch. For now the pair had a match to make with some 5S fool. She had dealt with the Syndicates before, given her line of work and tendency to look the other way here and there, though she did not know what to expect from this occasion as much as her counterpart did.

“Srucayr?” She chuckled. Had she said or done anything to offend him? Some of that night was a bit of a blur before her world had become one and she passed out. “Eh, I wouldn’t say we know each other well...or at all, really… Just two Mandalorians on Mandalore sharing blaster bolts with the idiots who thought they owned it.”

Moving on, it suddenly clicked as to what she was doing here. She wished she could see Laren’s face as they exchanged comms from two different cockpits. “So um...a Nexu, huh?” Like...really? Nexu..? What is it with Nexu these days? “You uh...looking for a pet? Guardian? Pet guardian? Guardian of your pets?”

Days in Syndicate Space were getting more complicated by the day. With the Hutts having a difficult time even maintaining control of their own territory, between the virus, the droids, the impending war, unionization, and the upstarts coup things were getting a bit fluid. For anyone that was still on the payroll, attendance at the meetings were becoming spotty at best. Inventory all over the place was going missing, with thugs and goons looking to get a piece of their own action before things calmed down. Because when things calmed down everyone went back to business as usual.

But when business was unusual... there was profit to be made.

This was where Vako found himself now. Making his way through one day at a time, one deal, one bolt, one flight further ahead then where he was the day before. No true net loss yet, just flapping his way to a better future, and shooting the fingers off anyone that tried to grab his ankle to hold him back.

In such chaos Vako found himself in a safehouse, a new collection of goons and thugs on his own personal payroll, following him to an easy pay off with minimal risk... at least that was the sell. They were handling a haggle and a hand off. An offworld menagerie had been raided and the contents were sold off in every direction. Vako's current middle man had tapped him to handle the sale of prized... but complicated... centerpieces.

The little Nexu cubs were pumped full of sedatives at all hours. Vako had never seen one in the wild, but he'd heard enough stories that they could rip through durasteel and vanish without a trace.

He wasn't about to test it.

"Give em another pump!" Vako directed one of the goons, as a cub started making growling sounds. "I don't want them scratching the cage!"

When acting as the middle man to a middle man, you could get your fee cut for the slightest things... and Vako wasn't taking chances.

"Yizok!" A weequay with him called out. "We're pingin' them the signal. They should be here soon."

"Good. Time to unload these noisy skeggs." Vako responded, moving to the bar at the safehouse, pouring himself a drink that was as strong as any and beginning to sip while he waited for more word about their quarry.

He could tell there was a slight worry in her voice with reason. Nexu are quite a dangerous species but when trained they are a lethal companion for settling problems. Thankfully the cages Laren has within his ship have conductors of energy that keep even the strongest of beings put in place.

“I was actually hoping to just eat them.” Laren let the comment sit for a moment before following, “I was kidding, I’m actually planning on training them for my hunts later down the road.” Laren was enjoying her reaction. He knew she wouldn’t like it so he kept it secret until they were there. And that’s when he heard a notification on his console.

“Alright Cas, sending you the coordinates. Let’s go see what we have to do to get these bad boys. Or girls.. equal opportunity.” Laren smiled as he began putting the coordinates into the ships auto pilot. “Hey buddy why don’t you go fire up the cages and be ready to board.” BD would then hop off Laren’s lap and run to the cargo hold portion of The Unforced. Turning on the conductors to make sure they work. The Mando slapped the ship into hyperdrive and then they were off.

Laren wanted ensure he wasn’t going in alone so he had brought Cas along and he planned to have his brother by his side but circumstances would delay that. And Laren preparing to speak with the leader of the group he’s going to meet, starts up the com link to speak to the 5S members. He came out of Hyperdrive and looked upon the Vessel.

“This is Unforced 1, do you copy?” The Mando wanted to play it safe and make sure that coms were working and that everything being said was loud and clear for he and Cas to hear. ‘Hope they’re as good as they say they are.’ Laren thought to himself as he leaned back into his seat.

There was a brief silence as Cas chewed on those words. It was hard to tell if Laren was joking given that the two pilots were separated by space and there wasn’t much of a trace of jest in his tone. Do Nexu taste good? I mean, an animal’s an animal so I can’t judge. She had grown up eating some strange creatures and not necessarily by choice. When Laren confessed his actual purpose for the Nexu, such as it was, she was about to ask him if he shared her occupation when the coordinates came through.

“Copy that. Coordinates received. We’re in the pipe, five by five.” She leisured out her response before taking another swig of vodka and sealing the flask.

“Hello, Cas?” Rawl called from only the ship knew where.

“Yes?”

“My understanding of Nexu is that they make great sport in the arena. Do you believe that our mutual friend might be planning on raising these cubs to become gladiators?”

Cas mulled that over a moment. It would make sense. “Well, he did mention something about hunting.” Some Mandalorians loved combat so much that they sought the fighting pits for themselves or others. Heck, she had boxed one of her own before, so there was that. Laren looked more like a kid than not but that didn't mean much. “Who knows? Not my problem. Nor yours. Your problem, my friend, is making sure your little metal butt is primed for scouting.”

“Yes, Cas. This unit is now priming its little metal butt.”

“Also...he’s not my friend.”
Yet. If ever.

Hyperdrive later and the Winged Pike emerged beside the Unforced, though Cas let Laren do the talking. It was easy enough for him to announce her vessel if the question came his way. She was content to wait and watch, wondering what Nexu tasted like.

The group of thugs moved from the safehouse back to the Dorak, a Wayfarer-Class. They kept it docked just beside the safehouse. Using repulsor lift carts they got the Nexu cages onto the transport, and prepared get to orbit. They did not precisiely move with a military efficiency, or even a rapid pace. They were all on a payroll essentially to be laborers that carried blasters. All except Vako, who was in charge of this pack of miscreants.

One of the thugs moved to the cockpit, and they proceeded to space. There were seven of them in total, and they looked intimidating perhaps to your average person in a cantina, but to anyone that knew how to handle themselves, they looked like a pack of brawlers that might cave in your eyesocket for a few credits. Dangerous in their unpredictability, but not because of any great skill that they possessed.

The vessel took to high orbit over the planet, and Vako moved to the bridge. He took up the open channel, gave their location to their quarry, and give simple direction.

"Dock with us, and get ready to be searched." Vako stated. "If you got a weapon better keep it where we can see it. No funny skezz when looking at the cats."

With that Vako made his way to the large Cargo pod that the ship hauled. There were dozens of crates and containers around, but only one of them was snarling and growling filled with furry creatures with mouths like clams that were filled with razorsharp teeth.

Vako stood at the door, ready for the dock, beside the other armed goons that were meagerly kept on his payroll. He did not immediately suspect treachery, but that did not stop him from keeping his rifle in hand ready for his guests entry.

Laren prepared to leave his cockpit as he had finished docking with the other Wayfarer-Class ship. He told BD-3 to stay with the ship and hold the fort. This was it. This was the moment Laren was waiting for after making contact with 5S. Before leaving the cockpit, Laren sent the coordinates to Rakiss, his brother. He had hoped that things would go smoothly later on.

“Brother when you get this remember to be careful. These are thugs of course.” Laren finished his messenger and had BD send it to his brothers comm link. It was a good idea to keep him updated and to make sure Cas was ready as well. “You all set?” Laren spoke through the comm link to his fellow Mando ally. “This could go really well, or really bad. Depending on how much charm you give em.” Laren let out a chuckle knowing that Cas’s ‘charm’ is far from other people’s charm.

Now it was time. Laren stepped out of the cockpit listening for Cas’s response. Surely it would give a good laugh. Once Laren went to meet her at the boarding area. It was time to meet the thugs. The door opened to reveal multiple members awaiting their arrival. They explained the rules to the Mandos. It was obvious what their rules were. Chalk it all up to ‘You no touch.’

“Not a problem. Came here to see the little Cubs and then to pay up what I owe.” Laren motioned his hand in such a way as to tell them ‘Lead the way.’

“Charm?”
Cas exchanged Laren’s chuckle with a humph. “You know that’s the name of my blaster...right?” She let the comment sit for a moment before following. “I was kidding. I’m all set, commander. Lead on.”

Mr. Five Ess hadn’t mentioned anything about not bringing droids along for the ride. Heck, he had just as much invited his guests to bring weapons. So, given that her own was a 4EY designed for close cooperation, Rawl had tethered himself to his master’s back as the duo met Laren in the boarding area.

Cas blinked at the Toydarian first and foremost, noting that he toted a rifle in his hands just like she did. The bounty hunter danced her eyes around his ragged bunch of ruffians. They looked like they had just escaped from an alley after mugging a ten-year-old cripple who had chased them away. Hardly the sort to worry about. Rawl could take ‘em if I kicked him hard enough. She hoped that her ‘leader’ shared her sentiments. Fear did not become a Mandalorian.

Glancing between Laren to the others to make sure that the former would keep pace, Cas aimed to follow the latter toward the bounty. She was all for paying fair credit for it, given that she wouldn’t be paying a credit for it, but if the selling party tried any funny business then they would quickly hear the response of the hunter. Cas had no time for skezz.

Rakiss had come out of hyperdrive a time after he revived the message from his younger brother Laren, he would have been along sooner had it not been due to complications of recent events until now. But he was here non the less and it was time to see what his younger half had wrapped himself in this time starting to dock his small fighter to Laren ship. “Laren I’m here..... please tell whoever that I’m with you. My blaster has spent a bit too long out of the holster before I got here. So I’d like to be spared the inconvenience of shooting another poor soul who had a smart tone today, remind me to tell ya about it later. Anyway I’m docking and walking through your ship to get to you I’ll be along shortly. Try to not do anything stupid till I get there.” He loves his brother but he didn’t always see eye to eye, it was just part of being family he supposed. Once on bored Larens ship he was greeted my his brothers droid chirping happily tears him “Good to see ya little guy, stay here and out of trouble.... and my ship! Don’t want another incident like last time.” Rakiss sighed, now going to where he would leave his brothers ship to the next to meet with him and anyone else here. He thought about the fact of not knowing anyone here and the pain it would be if things fell off. The danger was never the issue, just another part of life to the mandalorian, but annoying at times would put it into better words, pick fights that were worth picking. To Rakiss some self proclaimed tough guys didn’t seem worth it or much a challenge. So he didn’t have much to say he was there for Laren and to see what all this was about in full detail. Who knows maybe it will be worth his while. His thoughts pulled away from him as he started to notice the meet of the boarding area. Seeing Laren as he had not been there too long a guard or two stepped forward between him. As they were walking off Rakiss simply stated “I’m with them..” after a short pause they let him pass on now catching up to Laren he spoke in their people language for only him and others who knew it to understand “I’m here brother, sorry for the wait. I was attending some business and am here now, any issues? These people don’t seem as dangerous as I would expect, that or I haven’t seen the extent of it yet. No matter just do what you must I’ll be right behind you.” Then Rakiss glanced at the other next to Laren, mandalorian no question about it. His helmet hid the face but it did tilt slightly. He hadn’t seen another of his people outside the clan for some time, looking back to Laren he spoke once more “Who is this?” Then keeping quiet as he kept to to the back of the group, he didn’t trust easy for his own reason. Didn’t matter who you were not until you proved to him somehow or traded blows with the young mando. So apart from Laren he just saw everyone in the room as another potential rando turned target. But he was smarter then to jump the gun, he’d stay quiet play nice and just pay attention closely. Looking to his left wrist bracer he had contacts of his own speaking to him, he would share with Laren later but now would focus on the task at hand. Laren wanted himself a new pet so Rakiss would be there for him it’s what Brothers do. Besides that he could get a close look at what it meant to be around a crime family, not an everyday experience. As they continued Rakiss was just there for Laren and to kill time and all seemed well so far in this place they found themselves in so he was curious to see how it would play out.

The group that entered the vessel did not surprise him. "Mandalorians." Vako observed aloud, with no cheer or disgust in his tone. They were not an all unfamiliar sight in circles that Vako ran in. A lot of them wound up taking work for the Syndicates when whatever cause or crusade they were on lost its point. Good fighters... dangerous ones too. Vako was glad that he made the call to just verify that they weren't carrying anything that was absurdly dangerous.

"This will only take a second." Vako commented as one of the goons looked them over. "Just gotta make sure no one's intentionally walking in with something that'll blow a hole through the hull." Blasters could do that on certain weakpoints, and so could detonators. But an explosive that was specifically for sabotage was easy for 5 Syndicate personnel to spot, after all they sabotages boats all the time.

Given these were Mandalorians, and that they were by all accounts being cooperative so far, Vako took a different tone then he might have had he thought someone could be intimidated.

"I'm Vako Yizok. I'm here representing the interests of the Black Sun." Vako started. "I know you were supposed to be meeting with Hutts, but since things are a bit fluid on Nal Hutta at the moment, we'll just say that Black Sun has stepped in to take over the contract."

Vako's wings flapped giving slight lists of air, which breezed off of the guests on the transport. Vako brought his rifle down to the low ready. "I understand this could make for ill feelings right away... so I'm not gonna make any bones you carrying your blasters with you. Just keep them under control and these frekk'hoko's will do the same."

Vako cocked his head to the side, beckoning them to follow. "I understand you're here for exotic animal purchase. Mind if I ask what for?"

Vako was legitimately curious and the natural mercantile tendencies of Toydarians was such that it might be beneficial to understand the customers needs rather then trying to run a scam for no reason.

The greeting of a rifle to the face was as expected. This was just another meeting in the Mandos eyes. There was nothing to fear. His armor would save him from any blasts aimed at vital points and he has a quick enough reaction time that he could make easy work of whoever stood in front of him. Not mention the fighting capabilities of his brother and his new found ally Cas. All three being mandalorian made the ‘safety in numbers’ thing so much better.

“Black Suns you say? I’ve heard of you before. It’s a shame I couldn’t meet with my original contractors of course. But I am excited to know my new contractors.” Laren toned his voice to imply he was excited, but his face was straight under the helmet. He didn’t care who he dealt with as long as the had his special cargo.

“Yes exotic. As long as you have them we can come to a deal. And I want them for my own personal reasons. Maybe some hunting, arenas, maybe just to hug and call snookems.” Laren chuckled. This was where things were going to get tricky. Pirates like knowing everything so they can make profit on it later. Of course this was a common thing The Mando had to deal with. “Is confidentiality a problem?” Laren asked with a slightly lower tone.

Intensity grew inside Laren. He was waiting for something, anything to happen so he could unload of few shots. Of course on the other hand he didn’t want anything to go down for the safety of his family and ally. He looked back in the direction of Cas and Rakiss. His eyes to the ground. Then back to the thugs awaiting response.

“Anvil.”
Cas introduced herself to the new arrival who came to complete a team of three. To maintain her own identity as one such individual while concealing another, she had given only her moniker and had come to this little deal in her red-gold beskar. She wasn't the only one. Laren’s brother was as much a Mandalorian as, well, his brother. Few things were as dangerous as a threefold cord of Mandalorians.

As a goon got closer, Cas watched him from behind her visor, helmet turning to his every movement. “Careful with the frisking,” she warned as casually as coldly. “Get frisky with me and you won’t like my muscle spasms.” Whatever the response to that, the goon finished waving his hands and Cas listened to his leader. The Toydarian was smart not to try and scare tactics with the three iron patriots standing before him. Hutt Cartel. Black Sun. Brown Butt. Whatever.

The lot of them walked along, Laren in the middle with Cas and Rakiss on the wings. The woman in the outfit allowed her gaze to wander over everyone and everything; an easy feat given that no one could see her eyes. Heck, she could make funny faces if she wanted to, and did at Laren’s words and at his expense. “...Snookems?” An audible snicker escaped her audio. Somehow the ‘hug’ portion of his spiel sounded like a more plausible scenario than hunting and arenas.

These Mandalorians were dangerous operators. Every step they took and breath they uttered gave Vako that impression. They were a bit cavalier in their attitudes and form of speaking even under their helmets, and that was an air of confidence bordering on arrogance. Historically speaking, that arrogance tended to end badly for the Mandalorian people as a whole... but individual packs were what their reputation came from in the first place and Vako was the last person that would be attempting to test it. They were armed, they were dangerous, and in odds like 2 on 1, Vako would put every credit he had on himself barely escaping with his life.

Too much to risk on that day, and he'd keep pouring ice on the situation to keep it as cool as possible.

"Not a problem for me." Vako answered. "Best make sure you brush up on your trade law depending on where you take them though. Not all pit fights let Nexu in anymore."

Vako knew only what he needed to avoid inspections and confiscations, but the laws that governed that weren't all written down. Some were just based on the man with the most blasters.

Vako walked them through the ship. Lots of equipment was within the transport, covered in crates. A large vehicle with a tarp covering it was visible and likely an illegal piece of military grade hardware. None of it was worth noting though, it was just expected for a floating warehouse.

Vako approached the cages, which were flanked on either side by two thugs. One had a stun prod in his hand, the other a stick that had a needle with sedatives on it. It was obvious that the occupants of the cage were being dosed regularly.

The Nexu, of which there were four, appeared entirely disoriented. They were about the height of ones knee at that point, so not old at all, perhaps only a few months.

"I got these four here, and a couple more in transit." Vako announced. "So... what are you in the market for?"

Rakiss again spoke to his brother “Oh so this is why you called me in, seems quite the little treasure you’ve found. Good on you brother, as long as ya keep it in line this could work out nice. He said as he continued with the group. He would watch and observe on for the time being

Laren didn’t allow anyone to notice, but he was smiling under his helmet when the group came across the four Nexu cubs. Quite the beauty they were. This was a good day for Laren. His plan for his future endeavors was coming together.

“What I’m in the market for..?” Laren said as he was slowly taking a few steps toward the cage and then knelt down. Surely the pirate would start with an outrageous price that the Mandalorians could dwindle down. “What would you say the price of all four be?” Laren’s eyes never left the cubs.

As he awaited the total price from the Toydarian, Laren stood back up and turned to the thug. Laren knew that his words would determine whether they can come to a decision or not. Either way Laren was ready for the cubs and if it meant dropping a few nobodies the sheee, they better hope he misses. Which, isn’t very often.

The plan ultimately is to just find the price and or job, complete and or pay, take cubs and go. Do plans always work out that way? Rarely. So of course Laren had back up measures in store. Two of which, stood right behind him.

Cas decided to let the boys talk amongst themselves and used the opportunity to scope out the Nexu. Ignoring the guards, the Mandalorian approached one cage as closely as permitted, letting her own guard down if only to kneel down to the little creature. Nexu, they were terrible adversaries. Nexu cubs? Why, they were adorable! She tilted her helmet to the ball of fluff and fur and decided not to stick her fingers inside no matter how much her glove wanted to stroke.

“Awwwwww,” Cas evoked without much interest in how anyone else would react. “And what’s your name, friendo? Are you hungry? Thirsty? You wanna go play?” She rapped a knuckle on the cage. “Wanna play? Huh? Yeah? Hm?”

The cub took no interest, clearly too dazed. If awake it might have even pounced into the cage, probably mistaking a warm Mandalorian for a thug. But, no, the animal just lay there placidly. That posed a problem for that Mandalorian so she promptly rose to her feet and leveled her visor with present company.

“How do we know these Nexu aren’t going to grow up lazy after all this poking and prodding?” She turned her helm to Laren, checking for resistance to her jumping in, but jumped in anyway as she focused on Vako. “We didn’t come here to buy footstools. Unless you can actually show us some feisty Nexu who aren’t sleeping like fat cats then your price had better accommodate.”

Vako was sizing these Mandalorians up fast, but the slow blink he had in relation to the girls response did not give away his concern for the direction this was going. It was not that Vako was thinking that things would turn bad, but it was more his wondering if the Mandalorians were stupid enough to turn it bad on purpose.

Vako was a middle man in the situation. These people buying Nexu were easy to identify. If things took a turn for the worst, they probably would have to look over their shoulders for the rest of their lives. That benefited no one, but it certainly was not going to be Vako that caused things to twist that way. He just wanted to pass the cats off for the right price and leave with cash in hand.

"You wanted cubs. Cubs get pumped full of juice. You want one that's wide awake... Malastare isn't far from here." Vako leered. "But the ones I got, I don't let scratch the bars."

Vako directed his attention back to the one he assumed was in charge, but he had no idea given those he was dealing with. His wings twitched as he elevated himself to slightly above visor level with the Mandalorian before him.

"The Black Sun wants to hear your offer first." He said flatly "Exotic animals are in surprisingly high demand right now, so they want to know real offers, rather then handing off a pricetag."

It was the truth. Value on something that did not have an intrinsic value meant it was worth whatever the vendor said, and that price was dictated by demand. Now it came down to how strong Mandalorian demand was compared to others.

As Rakiss looked he stepped forward, “You look nervous..... interesting.” He said as he came more near the front of the group. He decides to be more vocal on the topic.

“You see what ya said makes a little sense but hear this. Cubs of these kind are not sturdy... hell if ya don’t care for them right they tend to be soft targets their bones need a lot of upkeep while they grow or they break easy in a physical fight.. They are native to the planet Cholganna, I’ve been there the planets not half bad we love the outer rim, so me not knowing where you obtained them plus pumping them full of drugs doesn’t exactly help your product or the price for you. So as of right now if I told you a number you wouldn’t probably like it. Plus please refrain from the whole high demand play for as far as I’m seeing......... we are the only ones here.”

Rakiss said this he looked around to prove the point, then he looked back to this middle man of the deal and simply put it. “42,000 credits a cub.... unless you want to pull one or two out for me to hold.... but that’s your risk they in bad shape that number drops, if they are then I’ll reconsider.”

Rakiss got close to the mans face. His helmet slightly cocked as the visor stares into the mans eyes. “Are you confident in your product?” He asked in a low tone.

he waited to see what the response would be, mandalorians didn’t play nice with cheats and Rakiss was no acceptation to this.

“So what’s it gonna be?......”

Laren appreciated the firm verbal attack of his brother. It was good knowing that his brother was one to be counted on when these things were going on. They couldn’t tell if the cubs would grow up to be worth it. Maybe they would be deadbeat house cats because of the drugs. Not to mention the nourishment. Laren hadn’t seen them get fed. The way a Nexu eats is wild.

“Well.. are you goin to answer my brother or should I teach you a lesson in manners? Makes it worse that we’re clients getting treated this way.. wonder what Preef would think of you failing on your sale..”

Laren looked down to his bracer to make sure everything was operational and then back to the Toydarian before him. Manipulation is a good strategy and when you bring up the boss it usually fanned the flames.

The Mando wasn’t fearful at all while things got tense. If any he was more relaxed. The thugs on the ship would be made light work of with the combined talent of the Mandalorians. The Toydarian would flee the first chance he got if things went south. Which made him a first target.

For the sake of the cubs Laren hoped it wouldn’t come to that. But these days.. you never know what is going to go down nor will you ever know, because for as long as life existed there would always be those who fight.
