DOWNTOWN CORELLIA was not the sort of place the ‘good folks’ of the Galaxy ever dared to head. People crammed around upturned barrels, keeping warm in the fire they had started there? No - more like, well...the place just didn’t feel safe. It was for that reason that Chester Kincade had suggested an alternative meeting place when the client had gotten in touch. Waking up at a quarter past six, as per usual, and heading for his speeder, Chester had made the journey from his small apartment in downtown Coronet, to head uptown.

Normally he only headed uptown to head offworld, it was one of the few places where the more reputable spacers docked after all.

However, today was different. Today, he was going to make some money. Checking his rear-view holo as he pulled into the overtaking lane, he opened up the gas and was rewarded with the warm thrummmmm of the speeders engine. He’d had it cleaned, the bodywork waxed and polished. Today, Chester was going to reel in a new client, hook, line, and sinker.

”If you want the prize you can’t quit at half time. You can’t quit mid season…..” reaching forward with his left hand, Chester amped the volume up on his internal sound system ”...st play the whole game. Pre season, through the cold, through darkness, through the challenges, the opponents.” he nodded as Garth Mangoomba, the six armed sage of inner strength (as he called himself) continued through his audiobook Unleash the Inner Self.

Slowly, warm peppy words faded into the background noise as Chester prepared himself for the day. He ran through what he knew of the client, as he turned through the control gates and out of downtown officially. She was a noble of some sort, recently having come into a large inheritance that she was pretty keen on keeping for herself, and tying up against any rivals in the family business.

Classic big bucks dispute, most likely with a simple fix - but, never hurt to red-tape it up a bit.

Plus, Chester needed the money, and the contacts that came with harpooning a fish this big. Who knew what doors it would open?

It was one of the many reasons why he had put a little spit and polish into the day. For starters, they’d be meeting at the Old Corellian, a high-end members club, which he used to entertain clients, the membership of which he had secured by virtue of his university alumni group. Secondly, he chuckled to himself as he pulled into the parking lot of the impressive building, got out of the car and removed his bag. Secondly, he licked his hand and flattened down his hair, flashing himself a grin in the window….who could resist that charm?

Walking up the stairs, he flashed his membership card to the doorman saying ”How you doin’ buddy?” with his usual energy ”I gotta good feeling about today y’know, Kralic? Yeah,” the doorman nodded ”...how’re the kids? They get into Coronet State?” he asked - referring back to last week's chat with the doorman, who laughed and replied.

”Sure did Mr Kincade, starting next week.”

”Hey! Soon they’ll be buying you steak dinners here!” he laughed, effortlessly charming the man once again, and heading to the elevators. Two floors up, down the corridor and first door on the right, and he was there.

The Solo Suite - the place to charm the credits off a young noble. He walked in, slung his bag down on the large wooden table in the room, and took in the air.

Today was going to be a good day.
