Severus was in the main hangar where his prized Belbullab-22 Starfighter, Sundance, was landed. Severus was currently running a basic check on the engines, hyperdrive, fuel level, oil, coolant fluids, and navicomputer. To everyone else, he was simply running a basic check up on his ship's systems, but Sev was intending to go and leave the planet for a time- intending to go visit Coruscant, his "homeworld" as most others would know it to be. He heard there was a starship auction happening and wanted to see the many amazing starships that Severus only dreamed of having.

He wasn't going to buy any, just look at, take notes on, and analyze the other ships so he could make the right accommodating adjustments to his Sundance. These events were never just an auction but a place were engineers from all over the galaxy came together to share their tips and designs with others, collaborating together to make some of the most spectacular machines you could ever lay eyes on. Sev only dreamed of showing up to one of those events, and now he finally had his chance.

Of course, Sev didn't want to go alone and had discretely and secretly invited his newly made acquaintance, Jacata Lurel. Severus wasn't quite sure if he was up to it or not, but he had been very careful about the note he masterfully placed in his pocket after they passed in the hallway. "Meet me in the main hangar at noon- tell no one and bring no one. SC" was what the Padawan had wrote. Now all he had to do was wait for his mirilian friend and Severus would explain to him his genius plan on how they were going to 'escape' unnoticed. I hope he has a starship of his own...not sure if I can squeeze two teenagers comfortably.

Jacata was already back in his room when he reached a hand into his pocket and discovered the note. He had to read it several times before his mind put it all together. "Could he possibly be more cryptic?" he asked himself in his room before huffing out a sigh. Rarely did "tell no one" accompany things the older Jedi would agree with. He couldn't help but believe this was going to end in trouble. Still, he was curious and he didn't think Sev would ask for someone if he didn't want help.

Ducking out of his room, with some belongings, he made his way to the hangar to see what this was all about. He dodge several teachers, not knowing how to explain where he was going when he was supposed to be studying and not wanting to get Sev in trouble.

Finally, the door to the hangar slid open and he ducked inside. He found the guy in the shadow laden hangar. Jacata held up the note. "You could have atleast given me some sort of hint." he said. Regardless, he considered the guy his friend, even if he was a strange one and Jacata never let his friends down. "Whats up? Everything alright?" he asked.

Severus gave the Mirilian a very genuine smile as he arrived. "Everything is fine! Do you want to see something cool?" He leaned against Sundance but wasn't referring to his ship in the slightest. He slipped out a small pamphlet from his pocket and tossed it to the other Padawan. Inside, the contents would reveal a stunning and elaborate description of a Starship Meet. The pamphlet was a private invitation to join in showing off whatever ship you thought was worth showing off- hence, the reason why Sev had polished up his black and gold Belbellub-22 so that it glistened in the single ray of sunlight that beamed down on Sev's masterpiece.

There were races for different classes of ships, engines trades, an auction for some high-end tech and starships- and rumor had it they were going to show off an "Old Relic of the Rebellion". There was a silhouette of none other than a YT-1300- The Millennium Falcon! Severus wanted nothing more than to see that beauty in it's glory. This was the chance of a lifetime, and Severus wanted to take Jacata to participate with him.

"I wanted to...take you with me." He said softly but his expression was immensely happy. Then, he stood up and looked like he just remembered something. "But...I need to make a passenger extension for my ship- and it's a two person job. I already got started, I just a need help with a few things- what do you say? Wanna come?"

He let out a sigh of relief. Sev had a way of getting in over his head pretty quick, and he was glad the guy was alright. Jacata snatched the flyer out of the air, reading it as Sev continued speaking. It looked like a lot of fun, Jacata liked starfighters as much as the next guy. He wasn't sure how Sev ended up with this invitation.

Jacata winced at the trouble they could get in. Padawans really weren't supposed to go galivanting across the Galaxy without supervision, but it did seem like fun. Finally he let out a sigh. "Yeah, I'm in." he said with a grin. It would be fun and they could handle themselves out there.

"I don't really know anything about starships, except how to fly them kind of but I'll help in anyway I can!" he said as he set down his pack and moved to help Sev with the ship's preparation. "So how did you go about getting this private invitation? You living some secret life off world or something?" he joked.

Severus sighed with relief- he wouldn't have asked anyone else, to be honest. Jacata was his first friend in the Order, and Severus liked the idea of having a brother. If this was what it was like, then he wouldn't give it up for all the power in the galaxy.

Severus smiled a bit mischievously when the Mirilian asked how he came across the letter. It was the same answer as to how he had so many plants from so many different systems in his room- Severus had a knack for sneaking out of Yavin IV under the noses of the masters. It came down to planning and timing mostly, but Sev's natural genius with these small covert missions kind of acted like missions for himself. Sometimes, the Padawan would get paranoid by the fact that maybe the masters were letting him escape, or they were using it as practice to keep himself and his intentions hidden and hasn't been caught yet- but he decided not to dwell on those thoughts and focused more on actually escaping Yavin.

"I came across it in a recent endeavor- you'll find out...Kinda don't want to talk about it here, anyway." He said in a hushed tone as he turned to walk over to a one-person cockpit attachment with a few missing parts and pieces still to be attached. "I made it roomy, so you'll have space to stretch your legs- I have all the complex pieces already installed. All I have left are just a few sealants and plating to attach. We'll bolt it down once we get finished wielding." He handed Jacata a wielder's mask and a standard fusioncutter and then got to work. It was kind of like a puzzle- some pieces looked like they needed to fit one place but actually fit another. Some of the pieces of metal probably took two people to make sure it got bolted in but Jacata seemed to be more muscle than Severus was. They were the perfect balance.

As Severus got to wielding, he began thinking about his relationships with the other Padawans. "Jacata, why are other people so...difficult? I can stand being around you- your insights are always helpful and your calm demeanor counters my colder one. We have a good balance and it continues to prove beneficial to the both of us. But others are...just different. How do you do it? You have a similar connection with me as you do Zana. What's different with her? I think she has good intent, but I don't know her mind very well." Severus began rambling. He wasn't being snobbish or meant to be rude as his tone was very matter of fact and seemingly innocent.
