Loss of profit through theft and general illegal maneuvering was common. It was almost unavoidable and Cyzyn-Itza-Rus certainly had the foresight to know he would not have the time to fully watch over Gromas 16 and all coming and going of the product and its people. The same could be said for the Imperial presence that would come to inhabit the system once he and the other Sith paved the way for them.

To his knowledge there was a smuggler that came and went, moving people and materials to and from the Blood Moon. He had a base of operations, out in the middle of nowhere it seemed and that was what the Tiss'shar was approaching now along with two other Sith. He may have a smal operation of sorts at the moment and the reptilian Sith wanted to make sure that it was under his control. It was better to control the evil to a degree and have a devil you knew rather than the alternative. So far this smuggling captain had stayed under the radar of the Lunar Brigands but Cyzyn was far more vigilant and wise than the average corsair.

Details of this mission had circulated through imperial foreign legion database, and the former commander had decided to pluck it up. It was straightforward enough, dangerous enough for a kick of entertainment value, and of course paid generously for the services requested. He would be assisting two Sith Knights as they made a pass to locate and track down an infamous smuggler on Gromas-16. The trio were on a large land speeder, melting through the desert landscape as they approached the man's base of operations. The soldier was seated out to the side, leg hanging out of the open side door as the speeder bustled through the terrain.

He decided to forgo his mask at this time, cybernetic eye catching glimpses and surveying the region around them while a cigarette in his mouth light up most of the interior cabin with its distinct, jasmine scented smoke. He was armed with a disruptor pulse wave rifle; space combat conventions dictated that pulse wave technology was too brutal for combat however the Imperial soldier loved that very effectiveness of it as it made quick end of unarmored flesh. Side-arms were a carbine blaster pistol and a side revolver while two frag grenades and additional power packs were located on his breast plate. A vibro-knife was well concealed on his person; rifle held in his grip as his eyes continued to stare at the outside, not one for making small talk with his two comrades for this mission. Though he had to admit, he did think the green skinned woman had a nice ass to her. Perhaps after this, the two of them would celebreate with a case of vodka and some new cigarras.

Jenova speared the imperial with a knowing glance; she might be physically blind but she was more than able to see through the force; she could sense his intent, nothing was safe from the hybrid's forever expanding 'sight'. For now, she merely scoffed at him, turning her focus outwards to their surroundings. The amazon was already for battle, even when all seemed peaceful. She remained vigilant, watchful, should the situation ever turn against them.

Yet again, she found she was in the company of 'Scar mouth', a reptilian alien she had met with previously whilst on assignments. The two seemed to work well enough with one another, with Cyzyn tempering some of Jenova's inexperience; truth be told, she owed the Sith Master much, considering their latest assignment had granted her an extensive array of salacious spoils. She had acquired a rather impressive pair of vibro-swords and was set to use them in the absence of a lightsaber. Though many Sith had adopted the familiar weapons, Jenova felt inclined to use other means; time amongst the Matukai had served her well. Through the force, she could augment her strength tenfold, using nothing but her fists and martials skills to -literally- beat her enemies into submission.

She couldn't help but wonder thought, what sort of opposition might they face here? The land seemed barren, nothing more than cesspit for smugglers and their kin. Hard to believe the Empire had to deal with such scum. She didn't like, not one bit and perhaps her attitude could be seen in the barrier created by her crossed arms.

Hopefully, this mission would be a straightforward one. The sooner they finished here, the sooner Jenova could return to her...side project. She glanced at Cyzyn, wondering if the reptilian master would perhaps be interested in her planetary excursion. No, she ultimately decided. No, she needed to achieve this alone. After all, a point needed to be made.

"How much further?" She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. Though she could make out the numerous sand formations in the distance, the granule nature of the terrain made everything appear...vague. Already the hybrid could feel the symptoms of a headache beginning to spawn. Indeed, the sooner this was done, the better.

It was a bright and sunny day. Not the type that brough smiles to the everyday citizen on Alderaan. No, it was the type that the locals of the Blood Moon endured. Tatooine had two suns and was exceptionally desolate but Gromas 16 almost compared to that. However Cyzyn was cold blooded and did not mind the heat as much as his warm blooded cohorts. His serpentine eyes aimed towards the horizon in an unfocused manner. The warm air passed through the trio as their open topped speeder whipped across the landscape. A cloud of dust slowly rose as it was disturbed by their fast movement.

The exact location was not known and perhaps circling with a ship would have been better. However he would not be surprised if this resourceful smuggler had detection equipment and would have bugged out before they had a chance to catch him. His own ship was not meant for disabling and chasing fast transports associated with the smuggling types.

He took his eyes off the horizon to look over at the Lieutenant in the vehicle. He had learned some things about the man, things that some would consider personal or private. However Cyzyn was not the type to make such a discovery personal. The Tiss'shar did it to anyone and everyone that he met with. Jenova, the green skinned female that rounded out their triad was one he had learned about more in depth recently. She was of course closer to the Dread Lords than Gunner was. After this endeavor he would be inviting her to take up a position on the Dread Council. He knew she had ambitions and for that he had a cemented opinion that she would do well for the Sith Empire.

"Not long now." He said with his deep voice over sound of the wind. As if to emphasize this point there was a land mark in the distance. The heat waves distorted its form on the horizon but it was certainly not natural. As they came closer there was markings of a crashed ship, moved structures and artificial signs of habitation. Someone had made the structure and there was a single entrance about two meters wide and two meters tall. "This is a crafty smuggler that has survived the harsh presence of this planet as well as the Lunar Brigands in turn. Do not underestimate him."

Jenova fixed her 'gaze' on the abnormal structure ahead; she had to admit, it was rather...inventive, using the skeleton of a star ship as an improvised base. Given the bareness of the surrounding terrain, it was probably the only adequate shelter for miles. Only a fool would wander out in such heat, especially for extended periods of time. Admittedly, even in her light weight body armour, Jenova was beginning to sweat. The intensity of the sun was merciless, as was the lack of humidity in the air. The dryness could rob a sentient of moisture within mere hours. Still, thee hybrid made no attempt to vocalise any discomfort. Her continued travelled had exposed her to numerous experiences; from swamp lands to fine architecture. All this, unassuming as it was, was a learning experience. One which she would take advantage of. Still...

"So long as he does not underestimate us..." The amazon had limited interaction with smugglers; truthfully, she didn't think much of them. Some were no better than smile, dealing and trading in whatever they could snatch or steal. Few had personal codes of honour, as if they did, they were often short and basic.

Still, even one such as she could admire some aspects of the trade. In order to survive, one had to either cunning or extremely lucky; Jenova wondered, which one would this mysterious smuggler be? Would they be so bold as to strong arm Imperial forces? Or would they be smart and simply comply with the objectives they had? Only time would tell. Still, best complete this assignment as quick as possible; this planet was roguish at best. If there was trouble, Jenova would retaliate, most happily.

Rolling her shoulders at the very thought, she disembarked upon arrival, her feet shifting uneasily amongst the fine sand. Hopefully the makeshift structure would provide more sturdy footing, enough so that Jenova could get a more accurate visage. For now, she sensed no immediate threat; one thing she was certain of however was that there was indeed sentient life within the wreck's confines. Her nod to Cyzyn confirmed that much, at least.

It would seem the smuggler hadn't made a run for it, not yet at least....

"How shall we play this then?"

"I imagine this man to be a survivalist first and profiteer second. Though it would be best to appeal to both sides of him since he seems to still be a bit of a risk taker considering his current trade." The reptilian said in response to his fellow Dread Lord. She was newly anointed and they had not had a proper ceremony. Not one for sentiment the Tiss'shar still felt he should have some sort of event for those back on D'Qar, perhaps at Eskatos Castle.

Moving forward he entrance he stopped short and held up a hand. barely visible due to the bright light reflecting off of the sand cyzyn noticed there was something amiss. There was a faint row of lights to the right of the entrance evenly spaced. They looked to be motion activated trip lasers. It would be unavoidable for them to move further into the location without activating them as far as he Cyzyn was concerned. While they had not set them off they would not be able to really get around them.

"I think it would be best if we let him know we are here in a non-threatening manner." While that was the method he implied it was more out of deception. He was still willing to act out in violence if need be but if the smuggler believed they meant no harm then it was for the best. "Smuggler! I have come to do business with you. May we come inside!" He spoke loudly so that anybody within would be able to hear. He waited for a few moments then the lights that Cyzyn had seen before went dark indicating they were allowed inside. The reptilian sith master looked over at his cohort with a somewhat pleased look on his face.

Titus had remained quiet in the approach, keeping his head on the swivel. In his experiance people of the more criminal persuasion tended to have a quick exit strategy ready in case they were ever met with a situation that they found to be highly unfavourable. He kept a hand ready to pull the rifle off his back in the event that should happen. For now though, that didnt seem to be an issue, this sith was clearly skilled in some form of diplomacy. Titus smirked beneath his helmet.

"Very good sir, Shall we proceed then?" He asked calmly, peering deeper into the darkness of the cave.

The Tiss'shar nodded in response to Titus's question. "Indeed. Let us get this over with. I do not wish to stay longer than necessary." The reptilian Sith Master had his reasons for not wanting to dally around the remote location. While the area was possibly dangerous as much of the outer rim he had a certain obligation to other goals. Cyzyn however would order Jenova and Gunner to remain with the vehicle. He did not want interruptions.

Entering the hole of a home they passed througha mildly winding passage. Raised pillars and makeshift supports for what was probably less than stable ceilings. Cyzyn could tell they were going literally deeper in the smuggler's den. The slight decline indicated they were going underground to some degree. It was smart in Cyzyn's opinion. The smuggler kept threats of a shelling from ordenance at bay by being under ground. Damage would have been minimal and he could escape by some other means of exit.

The smuggler was standing in what was probably considered a dining area by his standards. A table with four chairs sat in the center. "Alright Mister tall dark and scaley. What do you want?" He held a TS-2 shot in one hand, partially resting on the table but still with the tip pointed in the Siths' general direction. Cyzyn let the man know he was aware of the weapon and that he held the power at the moment. Oposition could be manipulated by having them think they had the upper hand. Of course the Dread Lord could produce his lightsaber and deflect any type of attack in a moment but instead he just began speaking. "You are a bold individual. You have thrived in a harsh environment where the Lunar Brigands have dominated the playing field yet you have been able to sustain yourself by sneaking and smuggling your way beneath their noses." He let the pause hang in the air for a moment before continuing. The smuggler's eyes squinted at him with some hint of suspicion but equal in parts of curiosity. "You are certainly a unique individual. However i am sure there are a few others of your caliber in the galaxy. If you were to leave there would no doubt be another individual who would take your place and fill the hole of smuggler in any operations that went on in this system. As such I wish to strike a deal. You continue smuggling, leaking supplies and materials while bringing in some paraphanelia to the system. But this will be monitored directly by me and my associates. Can you understand that?"

Moments would go by. Cyzyn wondered if he would have to use a form of mind alteration or resort to just killing the man and dealing with a new smuggler. However the man finally agreed and stood up from his seat. The TS-2 shot would remain on the table and he walked over to Cyzyn. "Alright, fine. Sounds like that is about as good as it's going to get." He said looking between Cyzyn and Titus before extending a hand to shake on it. Few people wanted to shake hands with a being that was almost two heads taller than them and had claws on the tips of their hands but Cyzyn took the appendage and shook it.

Titus listened and watched carefully throughout the exchange, keeping himself at the ready, finger just over the trigger should the man make a foolish move with that blaster of his. He was certain the Sith beside him would be fine, but Titus didnt intend to let the man get more than a single shot off, if that.

Thankfully, it didnt come to that, the man agreed to their demands and requests without much resistance and wisely left his blaster on the table before approaching the Sith Master to shake hands. Titus relaxed some, but remained alert, and awaited for the sith to turn around to leave, after which he would follow

The two parties had come to an agreement. The smuggler counted his blessings and seem to understand that this was as good as it was going to get for him. It could possibly be the best potential scinario and open up new avenues for him in the future if he took full advantages of the opportunities this gig provided. Cyzyn would shake the man's hand and nodding in silence before turning to leave.

The two sith would leave the hide out and not dawdle. There were many other things to be done for Gromas sixteen and the possible imperial presence here. It was up to the Sith Master to conduct it without wasting any time. He was not in a rush but it would be wasteful to not be as efficient as possible. Getting back into the vehicle they had arrived in he would start it back up and the Sith would ride off with the sun rise at their back.
