Six Month Prior

Audroti walked through the Gardens of Kaleth, freshly conquered territory for the Sith Imperium and his Dark Lord and Empress. His chrome fingers delicately traced the outlines of flowers and leaves as he took in the sight that lay before him, it was beautiful. The dark crimson staining the myriad of bright and lively colors the various plants and flora gave the garden, Audroti felt the glory of fresh Jedi blood being greedily sucked through the root systems of each plant, and the iron filled liquid nourishing each petal on the flowers. The beauty of the garden wasn’t a physical manifestation to Audroti, it was this action that he relished, even the Jedi’s most sacred of places, an area they tended ceaselessly to breed forth someplace they might be able to bask in the imprudence of the Light, to seek the truest form of weakness in Peace. A small smile of satisfaction appeared on his face as his gentle touches became far more harsh, he grasped the flower his hand hovered over crushing it within his grasp before turning to a Sith placed in his charge.

“Begin the executions here, lace this filthy Garden with poison.” He commanded before turning to rejoin the main force in aiding the assault on the Jedi Temple. "Oh..." Audroti said in a calm voice as he turned to the Sith he charged with the executions. "...Make sure they suffer."

Present Day

Audroti had been meditating in the ruined Garden of Kaleth, amidst the rotting, headless, skewered bodies of the Jedi Knights who refused to join the Sith on their campaign of destruction and domination. Audroti focused on remembering the squeals of their final moments, he basked in their individual demises only hoping those in charge of the executions followed his directives and insured that those few Jedi Knight's sufferings were elongated before they met their end. The very scent of the dying world was an aroma to Audroti, to rot of animals, the noxious waters that had eternally been corrupted, and poisonous gases that rose from the ashes only added to the atmosphere of suffering the Sith had left, scarring Tython’s alignment in the Force eternally.

But Audroti hadn’t come here to simply bask in the glory on conquest and death, oh no. Today was the day Audroti would obtain freedom from his shackles; he would no longer be bound to his foolish, kind, and weak Master. Today, Audroti would break those infernal bonds that linked them together through blood as the Sith of olden days did, he would earn his freedom through combat, he would bathe in the sufferings of Drenn Kerstasus. Audroti could feel his Master approaching Tython, he had been calling to the Sith Master, beckoning him to Tython through their unique bond, taunting him with images of his demise and that of everyone he loved. It was bait his Master couldn’t ignore and would surely seek to remedy through the destruction of his unruly former apprentice which is exactly what Audroti wanted, an enraged opponent whom he would destroy utterly.

Audroti heard the roar of engines, engines he assumed belonged to his Master’s starship, the one he would return with once their quarrel had concluded. A small smile appeared behind his rebreather that masked his horrendous scars, the moment would be soon upon him but Audroti wouldn’t rush this, no, he wanted to savor one last conversation with his Master before he struck him down. Audroti would wait until he felt his Master’s presence exit his vessel to speak out, until he heard Kerstasus’ feet touch the damp soil of the Garden.

“Glorious isn’t it? What can be done when you fully embrace the true potential of the Dark Side.” Audroti called out to his Master. “I know of the weakness that lies within you, your willingness to show mercy to foes and obstacles, to allow impudence and failure to go unpunished…but even a weak tool has it’s uses, Darth Vereor taught me that much. Unfortunately, Master…” Audroti paused, emphasizing the sarcasm of the word. “…you have used up your usefulness to me. As a final lesson Master, tell me what I should do with a tool I know longer need, something that has lost its uses altogether. Should it be kept around to take up space and whisper slanders or plot against me? Or should it be utterly destroyed and eradicated as a problem altogether?” Audroti asked, taunting his Master with the request of a "final lesson", one that would allow Drenn to understand the gravity of Audroti's challenge. This would be no mere spar or duel to test dominance over one another, this would continue until one of the pair fell to the ground as nothing more then a nameless corpse amid the rotten bodies of the fallen Jedi defenders in the Garden of Desecration.

Please note: This thread is occurring during the events of the timeskip. If I need to wait and post this as a Flashback once that occurs it is fine, I am simply posting this thread to include the event in Audroti's profile as something he accomplished over the course of the TS.

Darkness. A dark forest. The beams of light from the full moon were breaking through the leafs of the epic trees, casting some light on the ground. Drenn was standing with his eyes closed. He could feel a disturbance. Something was amiss. He opened his eyes and saw a bright yellow light in the distance. The light kept growing even though he did not move. It kept growing and growing until a scene unfolded before him. A huge fire, burning in the midst of the forest and within the fire he could see them, the faces of everyone he has ever considered worthy of his thoughts and despite having put his past behind him, there was some odd feeling rising within his mind and perhaps even within his heart.

And then he rose. The dream was over and he was awake. He had been having these, dreams, nightmares, or rather visions for some time now and they had been a good substitute for the sleepless nights that had troubled him for so long. More than simple visions, they were a calling, from none other than one of his old apprentices, one that he foresaw would rise to greatness and harness immense power. Despite his utter confidence in his own abilities, Drenn had realized that his prime had passed, that a new generation was rising and that he had exhausted his use. Thus he had not brought his armor, or rather his legacy, with him. He was wearing simple black robes and had taken a simple double-handed lightsaber with him. The most unusual thing about this lightsaber was that it had a blue colored crystal...

Perhaps it is appropriate to note that the sith lord had been missing for some time and nobody really knows what he was up to, or where he was. One thing was certain - he was attending to personal matters, tying up loose ends and putting matters to an end, but all that had changed him. He lacked the spark of hatred in his eyes, he lacked the strong passion, he lacked the ambition... all that was left was his confidence and he knew better than to rely on it to save his life, for confidence without motivation was nothing but a simple word and motion was something that Drenn not simply lacked...

Dark thoughts had occupied the mind of the sith recently. Thoughts of death. Thoughts of lost purpose. Thoughts of putting an end. His days and his nights collided and he lost track of time, his thoughts had consumed his life and his body had become a simple vessel that carried a lost mind. Finally these visions... these nightmares liberated him. He finally had a purpose... a final battle... a last show of power. And he would embrace it.

His ship descended into the atmosphere of Tython. He had reached his destination. His face was emotionless, his body moved as if driven by some outlandish force. The autopilot handled the landing and the red-skinned figure descended down the ramp, before it had fully opened. But then he felt the presence of his apprentice and suddenly his body livened up. The moment had arrived. One would expect anxiety, anger, or at least some small spark of emotion, but all that Drenn emitted was readiness and confidence.

"You are mistaken." an unnatural voice rang out, but Drenn's mouth had not even moved. He was communicating telepathically to his former apprentice. "You may have acquired great power, but you lack perspective. For that power will be meaningless the moment you are struck down and you shall be struck down, for nobody can remain undefeated. I, on the other hand... I have ensured that I shall remain eternal. I have accomplished all my goals in this life..." the sith, still emotionless, drew out his lightsaber and ignited it, causing the blue blades to stream out from either side of the hilt. "All except one, but I intend to end it all here. In one final, glorious battle. So, my apprentice, show me what you have learned. Try and dispose of this old tool, if you believe you are up for the task, for I still have something to say on the matter."

Drenn’s voice echoed in the recesses of the Crusader’s mind, bounding from the walls of his deepest consciousness. At one point in his life this small act of telepathic power would have sent chills up Audroti’s spine, but now Audroti knew better. Acts such as these were pitiful attempts at intimidation, they were meaningless and fleeting, truly a waste of power and a sign of an enemy already grasping at straws. Audroti’s eyelids peeled apart slowly as he raised his head to face his former Master, the yellow eyes that once gazed with respect and contained envy at the Togruta now were set ablaze with a single goal, to become the instrument of his downfall.

Audroti slowly rose from his kneeling position to face the man he had once respected, revered, and hated all in the same breath. The very ground of Kaleth called out to Audroti, begging him to drench it in fresh blood, blood of the interloper who had dared to trespass in their sanctuary, the Pureblood would grant the garden it’s request. In a single motion a black robe was thrown to the ground, revealing Audroti’s darkened armor which held the scars of dozens of battles with various opponents. The confidence that oozed from the Pureblood’s pores matched his Master’s, unlike Drenn Audroti embraced his Passion it would be here that it granted him the strength to defeat his greatest foe.

“You are brave to face me here, Kerstasus…I have grown from the times you lorded over me. Here we will both embrace the ancient tradition of the Sith Order, the weakened Master being disposed of by the powerful Apprentice. It is a honored tradition, one the rest of our kind views as taboo…but with the power you gave me perhaps I can change that, perhaps I can correct the path the Sith tread.” Audroti explained his voice losing most of its inflection as it passed through his mask’s respirator. “Welcome to my paradise, Master!” Audroti exclaimed as he stretched his arms apart displaying his adoration for the carnage that surrounded him.

Twin hilts were instantly called into Audroti’s palms; one of the Lightsabers he had claimed from a Jedi Knight he had defeated as an Acolyte, the other was the Staff he claimed from the other Apprentice Drenn had trained alongside him, Zsan Larkwud. The green blade from the Jedi's lightsaber silently slid from the hilt while only one crimson blade from the Staff erupted to life. Audroti drew on the negative energies and the lingering sensation of death that floated around the garden, he felt it’s corruption strengthen not only his body but connection to the Dark Side.

There was a flicker in Audroti’s eyes before the yellow pools slowly changed; a thick purple essence overrode the yellow in his eyes, a sign of his deepening connection to the Dark Side of the Force and its pure destructive capabilities. Audroti smirked at Drenn before taking a step forward taking the offensive as any intelligent Juyo practitioner does. The Dark Side enhanced Audroti’s speed, not making him a blur to an eye as trained as Drenn’s but far quicker than the Crusader normally would have move at. Audroti’s saber staff was gripped firmly in his left hand and held slightly off to the side with the blade angled towards the right in a defensive yet easily aggressive posture. Audroti’s left arm was slightly bent at the elbow allowing for a safe distance to sit between his torso and the burning weapon. The green blade of the other Lightsaber was held in his right hand, the weapon sat overhead, its tip pointed directly at his adversary, his former Master.

As Audroti came into striking range he would bring his saber down to allow for a full swing backed by a strong momentum. Once Audroti heard the blade sizzle against the ground he brought it back upward to slice across Drenn’s body from below the left hip up and through his pelvic bone, gut, and finally the left portion of his collarbone before emerging from his body. Should his Master deflect this blow, which Audroti didn’t doubt he would, the saber held in his right hand would be swung in a half orbit downwards towards the Togruta’s left shoulder, threatening to sever the Master’s arm, just below the shoulder, as he moved to block the initial strike. Finally a chill would rise up Audroti’s spine, a chill of satisfaction for the moment of liberation from Drenn's shackles was finally at hand.
