In an absolutely stunning turn of events, we are receiving reports that the Independent Systems Consortium has dealt yet another heavy blow to the Sith Empire - targeting their large-scale shipbuilding facilities on the ancient world of Exegol. This is the first that the public has heard of any such shipyards or the simple fact that the forgotten world was rediscovered by the Empire. Nevertheless, it would seem that the Consortium has once again maneuvered one step ahead of Imperial leadership.

The HoloNet feed briefly broke away from the reporter - instead shifting to footage obtained by the attacking ISC striketeam. It showed the Sith Shipyards being torn apart by Onager fire, while Imperials struggled to mount any kind of defense against the surprise attack. By the end of the footage, the shipyard lay completely in ruins - several docked vessels torn apart and billowing fire.

This marks the latest development in President Thorne’s extensive campaign against the Sith - and with mounting pressure against the Empire, many are calling this war an inveitable victory for the Consortium. What happens next remains a mystery - but we will work to bring you the most up-to-date developments as we receive them.

"Those sons-of...." she sighed in annoyance as the announcement reach across her holoscreen in her office. She was not irritated because of the precise attack, more of the fact, she had been trying for years to learn where the Empire was building the mass of their ships. Her argument to the navy engineers who outranked her was valid to their disagreement, she needed to know specifics to refit the ships, but she did not hold the security clearance for knowing such things because that would mean she would know where they were built. Eventually she decided to not pursue it further as they begun to press her to hand over the data to do her job; she wasn't going to give up her work if she was not included. Hell, Exegol though? She thought that world was lost and would never guessed that was where the capital ships were being produced.

She relaxed her brow, feeling a satisfaction knowing the shipyards were compromised, "Serves them right..." she whispered. Her eyes scanned across her desk, paperwork stacked high enough to block the picture frames and the woman frowned, quickly moving the stack to the other side as she paused, her blue eyes resting on the white flower, dried, pressed, and preserved between two pieces of glass. Tia no doubt hoped the best for Altair, that he stayed safe most of all. A part of her grieved for her choice, to leave on a path that steered in a direction she had wished had never come. Though she still wondered how he would react, if she were ever compromised if she had stayed, if he found out she knew all this time about Emryc, Jaikus, and the children, and even Renfry too. She doubted he would approach her with kindness, understanding, that was not the way, not how Empires were built.

Eventually, she knew that path- that secret she carried, would lead to her eventual demise. Perhaps it still would, one just does not leave the Empire, and she was certain he would know where she was by now.

The woman leaned back in her seat, her thoughts threatened to take her to better times with the tiefling: his singing, his tail telling his unspoken thoughts, and his smile. The woman shook her head, quickly dispelling anymore thought of Altair and reached for some of the papers to sign to drown out the pain that bubbled in her chest.
