Who needs Beskar, when you have BES-Corp​

The Buirkan Engineering Solutions Cooperative, also known as BES-Corp, was a private business organization comprising of numerous big and small engineering and technology workshops spread across New Mandalore. BES-Corp was formed over sixty years ago when the booming engineering sector on New Mandalore started to stall after the small workshops could no longer meet the rising demand for their products. Coming together, the various clans formed BES-Corp, to pool together their resources, facilitate information sharing, and foster innovation through cooperation.


ORGANIZATION AND PHILOSOPHY
As a cooperative, BES-Corp is owned and controlled by the various clans on New Mandalore. As a cooperative, a key tenet of the company is to support New Mandalore and to uplift the lives of its citizens. The Clans have a big say in the operation of BES-Corp, and though they cannot turn their backs on profits, making a profit is not the be-all, end-all for them. And example was the creation of the BES-Corp Vaccine Dispersal System, which they agreed to sell at almost near production cost in order to prioritize better response to the AMS virus.

While the various clan workshops can be divided under two umbrellas, a R&D division that is more research oriented and a production division that is the main profit driver, there is no official distinction between the two. This is a result of the way the workshops operate, with each workshop transitioning between the two depending on their development cycle.

Despite being a cooperative, BES-Corp has a traditional organizational structure, with a CEO, CTO, and CFO supported by a small team of VPs appointed to run the business. This team is responsible for handling day to day operations, acquiring new contracts, and mitigating any disputes within the different workshops.

INTENT
To create a PC cooperative to add some flavor to the site. This will provide another corporation that can get involved in the story, and also provide the New Mandalorians another way to get involved in Galactic economics.
