He didn't have time to pat himself on the back for his masterful interception of this brigand, no.

For soon he was punched in the kisser, and ziplined to the floor. He fell, and tried to think of something witty to say.

He had nothing.

Blacked out, he smelt copper - and wished he'd never come to work today.

Wrestling free of the guard, Roman leapt over the falling man and made for the jagged hole in the wall. He threw Jace an incredulous look of thanks as he passed him, ready to bet there was a nonchalant expression under the helmet. The Mando would have this one over him for a long while.

Jace's ship was not far and once aboard they barely took off before the percussive blast of the detonators reverberated through the ground. Breaching the reactor casing, the explosions released the tightly controlled forces powering the massive complex, creating a huge fireball that expanded exponentially on contact with the stacked hardware and munitions.

Imperial Czerka erupted in a maelstrom of fire and death. The complex was completely destroyed, it's workers and executives having had no time to evacuate. Secondary explosions peppered the blast site and dust and debris were thrown high into the air.

Roman held onto the ship tight, fighting the blast buffeting the craft as he tried to keep the aft viewer steady. He wanted to record the whole thing, both so the sneaky bastards in the ISB could not deny it and because he still could not believe what he had done.

For the first time in a while, he felt properly alive.
