Though an older design, the BWTS-55-class continues to sell well, primarily as a VIP transport and short-haul vessel connecting major transportation hubs to lesser regional spaceports.

The BWTS-55-class is fairly basic, flown by a crew of 2 plus 6 passengers, 20 tons of cargo and consumables for up to 1 month in space. Armament consists of a single dual laser turret, along with a defensive shield.
