Ender stood on the roof of a building opposite of what his target was. The Rangers had made their presence known to the Sith Eternal, declaring war in her own words and making her claim in the battle. The Sith Eternal had been unresponsive at first but they were going to make their claim now and it would be filled with blood. He was disguised as a Kage warrior, learning of the outfit from his friend Talak and finding it quite suitable for what he and the others were about to do. He was covered from the down in black except for his eyes, a slit there for him to see. It was night time and the outfit blended in well with the shadows.

The station wasn't a fortress but it was close to one. There were cameras and patrols of officers inside and outside. The building would go on lock-down a few minutes after their presence is known about. That meant they would have to do a sort of blitzkrieg. Strike fast and get inside and if the building's alarm struck, it wouldn't matter, the Eternal's forces would already have their work done. The others should have been in position already and Ender reached out with the force to the fellow warriors who were with him, We strike fast, enter through the windows or any opening you see. On my signal, that's when you'll make your move. Once you're inside, any Rangers you find, leave them alive but disabled, the captain too. Everyone else, cut them down.

Ender would approach from the front with another. They were attacking a station and either way it was going to be chaotic. They were here to send that message and he would ensure that it will be sent loud and clear.

Garbed in his Ren armor, Shor was off as far away from the station as Ender, though down an alley instead of standing on a roof. Much harder to spot him that way. On his left thigh was strapped his E-11D rifle, cut down to work more as a pistol for a being his size, his Ryyk-styled vibrosword on the same side hip. In his hands was his heavy blaster rifle, and on a belt was a spare power pack for each weapon. The whole ensemble was hidden beneath a very large cloak, leaving him looking very much like a particularly large hobo unless someone got right in his face.

Today was a day of hunting, and so his presence in the Force was concealed almost entirely out of habit, though his fellows obviously knew he was around somewhere.
"Window. Noted," came the synthetic reply through his translator transmitted over the comm units, void of any emotion or true inflection. The wookiee was quite ready, seething under the surface with the urge to tear into soft meat and cracking bone. Just a little longer until the slaughter. He would wait patiently.

Myr Khandros, or Mardos Ren as he went by when acting as a Knight of Ren, crouched at the ledge of the overlooking building across from the target. Face covered by his helmet of Ren and clothed in its accompanying black clothing, Myr had taken to the persona of Mardos Ren. Now it was time to do what he had adopted the guise for, to spread chaos and confusion. Armed with a vibroglaive, which he held loosely in his hand, and a vibroblade tucked in a sheathe behind his back, Mardos might seem under armed to some. What others but his brethren could not see however was the power of the darkside that he held wrapped around him, the Shadow, as the Knights of Ren had taken to calling it.

Turning his horned head to look at the organizer of this strike, not a Knight of Ren but rather a fellow cultist disguised as a Kage warrior, he heeded the man's telepathic message. Giving him a purposeful nod to signal his readiness, Mardos focused on the Shadow. A thrill went through him as he drew on its power, preparing himself for what lay ahead. Perhaps wanton slaughter was not the best use for his skills, but as many might say, the ends justify the means.

Balal Ren walked stood on the other side of a cargo speeder at rested across the street from the rear entrance of the station. The knight was concealed from head to toe in his Ren Armor. Concealing not only his appearance, but the black lightsaber hilt he kept on his left hip. On his right was a bog standard DC 17 pistol. In his left hand, a vibro sword formed like the katakanas of a world long sense forgotten.

On the other side of the speeder and street was a single guard. The Echani would feel his aura in the force. Calm, perhaps even happy. Unsuspecting of the violence to come his way. The knight would slowly build the shadow within himself. Building on his emotions and focusing that energy into his right hand.

"Understood, ready at the rear." He confirmed with the others in his helmet comms, then stepped to the corner of the truck. Waiting for the signal. The screams, the chaos. This was his mission, his purpose as a knight. Finally they would send a message. Not only to the rangers, not only the foolish jedi. But the galaxy.

The others checked in and Ender's eyes flicked to Mardos who was posted next to him. The force radiated around him as did the other and he gave him a nod. "Follow me." It was the dead of night and it meant they wouldn't be too obvious to those who weren't paying attention. The Legionnaire dropped down from the roof and into the shadows below, disappearing into them as he waited for Mardos to join him. When he did, the two would begin to approach the front door as the others waited.

When they stepped into the light that was shone from above the front door, the police officer outside pushed off the wall with an eyebrow raised. "Excuse me, what the hell is -" He didn't get to finish his sentence as he was quickly pulled by the force to Ender. When he was within reach, a vibro-sword easily pierced through his vest and come out through his back. The Legionnaire would simply grab the man's shoulder before pushing him to the side. As he reached the front door and placed his hand on the handle to open it, he reached out to all the others in wait, Now.

Ender whipped the door open and stepped through, his vibro-sword already drawn. One officer by the door and instantly turned but before he could react, the Legionnaire's blade whipped out like a blur and sliced his throat, opening it up as he fell to the ground. The other officers noticed as did the people inside and it caused a small panic. Another officer raised his blaster to aim and fire at Ender and he did but the Legionnaire wrapped the force around a civilian and pulled them in front of him, making the bystander eat the bolts before the body was flung to the cop who fired the weapon and knocked him down.

There was one other cop that was focused on Ender but he quickly dealt with him, spinning out of the way of another bolt before throwing his sword, it going through the air in a straight line and impaling the man into the wall. Normally, he wouldn't have been so theatric but this was being recorded and all of it was on purpose. Ender called the blade back to his hand as sensed for any more immediate threats as Mardos dealt with the others,
Find the Rangers. I'll get the captain.

The wookiee moved forward quickly, footfalls quiet despite his size, moving in closer as the front assault group did, remaining a safe distance from the eyes of any officers. As the assault started proper, opening with an impaled guard and the signal from Ender, Shor surged ahead and dropped the concealing cloak from his shoulders. As Ender attacked through the door, the big wookiee's massive strides took him to a separate window, a heavy bolt from his rifle cracking the glass. He charged through, the Dark Side burning through him and coming out as a massive wookiee roar that shook the bones of nearby officers and echoed in the small space, mask not bothering to translate, razor shards of glass flying through the air from his dynamic entry.

Swinging his rifle around he fires twice at close range, blasting holes in two guards who had previously been more occupied by the sudden murder of the men up front. He charged forward, swiftly sidestepping a panicked shot from a man half in a hallway and swung the stock of the weapon towards the man's head. In the hands of a human, a stock stroke from the 7.2kg rifle would certainly be unwelcome, but in the hands of the massive wookiee it might as well have been a sledgehammer. The man's skull cracked like an overripe melon and Shor ducked behind the hallway entrance, firing heavy blaster shots at any who came around the corner.

So they were specifically looking for rangers, then? Alive? This was doable. They would capture the prey and make them into trophies one way or another.

Standing on the edge of the corner of the cargo speeder. His body nearly vibrating with anticipation to act. The moment Ender said the word, Balal stepped out. Grabbing the unsuspecting ranger with the shadow guarding the door. The invisible hand clawing around his neck. The Echani would lift him ten feet into the air and slam him back down. Then again for good measure. The man was not dead but likely never walk again, and no longer able to move at all for the moment.

Plucking the man's key card with the invisible hand, Balal used the force to slide the card and confirm access. By the time the door slid open the knight was already at the threshold. Inside seemed to be some manner of locker and shower room. With half a dozen men either near naked or trying to get that way to wash off the filth of the street and the job.

The shadow filled Balal then. Augmenting his body, allowing him to move with unnatural speed and agility. In a blink of an eye he was on the first man. A guard, the knight suspected. As he reached for his blaster, Balal took his arm off at the elbow, and then swept the legs with the blade. Continuing on without so much as looking back at the man. Across from him was another, and the Echani took the edge of his blade and gut him from left to right. Blood spraying like the shower the man had just finished.

As the guard reached to try and hold his insides within himself. Balal would reach out with the shadow and toss him into a third, who turned the corner of the lockers with his weapon at the ready. Both men slamming the ground as they collided. The Echani then leaped a top of them and crushed them with his weight. Tossing the gun away as he moved on.

It was go time. Jumping down from the ledge after his fellow Legionnaire, Mardos followed him from the darkness and into the light. A quick and merciless death for the door guard and they were committed.

Stepping through the front door behind Ender, Mardos was quick to join in on the slaughter. Hanging a right as soon as he was through the door, his glaive reached out to rip the throats from three civilians who sat on chairs by the door, the action done as casually as one might tap posts with a stick while walking along a fence.

Thrusting his hand out at the cowering fourth man, Mardos lifted him by the throat with the force. Letting him hang suspended by the invisible grasp for a moment as he turned, a wave of his hand sent the blood covered innocent flying at a pair of officers who rushed around the corner, their blasters drawn.

The man collided with the officers, and Mardos was quick to follow, the deadly blade of his glaive leading the way as it thrust through the chest of the staggered but still standing officer. Ripping the blade free, it would swing around to come down on the thrown man's back, and through it into the struggling officer underneath him.

The Shadow roared warning to Mardos, prompting him to spin away as a blaster bolt cut through where he had stood. Drawing his vibroblade from his back as he twirled, the blade would fly from Mardos' hand and into the chest of the desk officer that had fired a him.

Willing the dagger back to his hand, he wiped the blood from it and resheathed it before pulling his glaive from the pair of bodies it was lodged in. With the Shadow wrapped around him and awaiting his command, Mardos nodded once more to Ender. It was ranger hunting time.

The lobby was a bloodbath, the insides of people and bodies laid everywhere inside. It was still only the first room and it wouldn't be the last one. Before he went any deeper, Ender turned toward Mardos and spoke to him through the force, Security room, deactivate the alarm and the main power to buy us time. Leave the emergency so the cameras keep recording. The bodies would be enough evidence but the Rangers had to witness the efficiency of the enemy they were dealing with. Mardos could deal with anyone that tried to resist.

Ender kicked down a set of doors, opening into a large room with cubicles. He sensed the other's signatures throughout the building as they progressed through the building and it only being a matter of time until they found the Rangers within. The room was rather empty as reports filed in of multiple attacks on different levels. As he moved through the desks, one guard in hiding stepped out, carrying a stun baton as it was thrust forward to his neck. The Legionnaire sidestepped out of the way before slamming his elbow in the crook of the guard's arm, pushing it down and exposing the torso as his vibro-sword came up and was thrust right through his chest.

Ender stared behind him, finding other officers forming up behind him. He left the man's body on his blade, using it as a shield as he pushed forward. The guards realized their friend was already dead and fired their blasters, doing their best to fend for their own lives. When he was close enough, he pushed the body off the blade and used the force to push one of the arm’s of the guards firing, making his hand swing toward his partner and killing him in one shot. The remaining guard let out a scream at the sudden murder of his partner but it was cut off quickly, the man flung through the air with the force as he went through an office window and collided into a metal shelf, killed from the impact.

The Legionnaire turned his attention to the second level, the people in the building now mostly running for their lives if they didn't have the means to defend themself. Through the commotion, he was able to spot one man that was dressed better than the others with various memorabilia on his jacket. It was the Captain and when he turned to find Ender staring at him, he bolted for his office and locked himself inside. Ender just smirked underneath his mask and murmured to himself, "Found you."

Heading off deeper into the Sector Ranger office, Mardos gave the Kage disguised Sith cultist a thumbs up over his shoulder. Violently grabbing a janitor who cowered behind a potted plant, spilling the pot and dirt everywhere, Mardos held him up against the wall with his glaive's blade to the man's throat.

"Security room, where is it?" He demanded in the deep digitized bass tone of his helmet, the Shadow slithering on his tongue as his words infiltrated the already terrified man's mind. A strong odor of urine arose as the janitor stuttered, "Down the hall, three doors down." The words coming unbidden from his mouth as the Shadow's influence filled his weak mind with terror.

"Thanks." The words menacing as Mardos Ren slit the janitor's throat and let him drop, choking. Flicking the blood off his glaive, Mardos strode in a swift but unhurried manner down the hallway. Not breaking his stride as three police officers rushed out of the security room, he instead sped up his pace. With a diagonal jump he would plant one foot on the wall as the guards levelled their blasters, pushing himself off to bounce from his foot off the other wall as blaster bolts passed him by, throwing his glaive at the second guard as he jumped.

Diving forwards and rolling, he would come out of his roll into a crouch with vibroblade in hand as his glaive planted itself in second nearest guards chest and sent him stumbling back into the third. Sweeping his blade up to sever the blaster hand of the leading guard as he came out of his crouch, he would follow it up with a swift slash to the throat before pushing past the dead man. Grasping the haft of his glaive as the last guard struggled with the body in his arm, Mardos pulled the glaive free before driving it into the last man's face over the shoulder of his dead fellow.

Mardos proceeded into the security room in the same stride as if he hadn't just slaughtered three officers, sitting down at the console. With a few quick key strokes the alarm went silent, followed by the lights cutting out. Emergency power kicked in, keeping the security cameras rolling and flooding the building with a dim red lit glow as the emergency lights kicked in for a bit of mood lighting.

The shadow still overflowing from within him. Balal continued his march. A fourth guard came from around the corner as the Echani turned. A bolt zipping just beside the knight's silver helmet. Balal threw his blade, impaling the guard. Then retrieved it with a pull of the shadow. Hearing the last two in the room moving from the showers on the other side of a set of lockers. The knight turned, faced the lockers and unleashed a powerful force blast to send the metal wall into the shower way, crushing the men.

The march continued. Stepping out of the locker room and into a hall way. He slammed the black into the ground a full two inches, reaching up to extend his hands down either direction of the hall, and unleashed cones of fire. The lengths of which would stretch outward from the Echani six feet in either direction. Guards, rangers, and even a few office workers would be caught in it's wave. Causing burns in varying degrees. But not death.

Retrieving his blade, Balal marched toward where he could feel the others in the main floor. Wildly slashing at any random soul who did not wear the badge of a ranger while he did so. Cutting a blooding path toward the horned knight (@Arclight ). Reaching the end of one hall he turned in the direction of what he assumed was the power room. Between him and the rest of the hall however was a badged Twi'lek. The blue skinned alien standing nearly as tall as the knight himself.

The ranger, opened up on Balal as fast as he could pull the trigger. The shadow was just a little quicker. Allowing the Echani to lift his hand putting the shadow before him like a screen. Of which seemed to be absorbing the bolts. One, two, ten. The Ranger fired, but none seemed to impact. Charged by the plasma energy, and done toying with these law men. Balal suddenly turned the shield into a wall of lighting. Just as the power went down and the backup lighting took over.

Saul has been at the Corellian sector ranger headquarters to give them details and data to try and help further the investigation into the Sith, Knights of Ren, whatever it was that was out there.

He hadn’t expected to see them in person while he was on planet though.

Alarms had started blaring as he had been heading toward there for his meeting that night. It wasn’t hard to hear the high pitched whir, shouts of violence and blaster bolts even from a distance.

But the scene he witnessed as he walked in was something else entirely. The door was busted open, a body in the front room. As he moved further in more bodies littered the floor and he broke into a sprint, running up the stairs as he heard cries coming down from the higher floors. He could sense the violence within, spreading across the station. And he knew his duty, he knew how he had failed last time he had encountered them. He couldn’t let himself leave here while this happened.

Slamming open a door he stepped out into the second floor office space, lightsaber already lit as chaos surrounding him as people fled and officers were cut down. One man stalked toward the captains office, Saul had been in there earlier that very day. No doubt they’d all sense his presence shortly,

Skkk-bhrk,

“This ends now” he said to the figure as he drew the Force toward him.

Jon had been looking forward to this all week, a few weeks of down time back home to let some steam out. Things had been chaotic since this whole good-Jedi, bad-Jedi confusion had spring up, almost everyone roped in to help on the case. That had meant long hours and a lot of travel, he had spent more time inside a ship than he had planetside this past week. So these little sojourn back home was meant to be his opportunity to recharge.

And recharging he had been, sleeping with feet resting on his desk, his coat draped over his face to keep the lights out, and a note outside the office space he shared with another Ranger warning anyone with death and worse if they disturbed him. But disturbed he was, though not in the way he would have expected. Ever.

He was almost kicked awake by the shrill alarm that went off when the intruders attacked, the sound making him jerk awake and almost topple out of his chair. By the time he was up and walked out of the office, there corridors outside were pure chaos. The alarms were still blaring, people were running around, though most with some purpose. This was a Ranger precinct after all, most people on this floor were either cops or had spent enough time around cops to know how to act at times of crisis. But what he wanted to know was what the crisis was.

Grabbing the hand of a young looking uniformed officer, he stopped him in his tracks. "What's going on?"

The man looked flustered, he was too young to have faced something like this before. "We're under attack, there are intruders in the building."

Jon had a hard time believing that, who would be crazy enough to attack them? He had more questions for the officer when the lights suddenly went out. A few moments later the emergency lights kicked back in, covering the corridor in dim, ominous lighting. Even in that lighting he could see the fear and confusion in the officer's face as he gazed upwards at the dead lights. Letting go of his arm, Jon grabbed him by the shoulders and turned him to face him.

"Listen up kid," he said once the officer's attention was back on him, "this is serious. I need you to get word out. Reach out on the Ranger frequencies, if they're jammed then find a way out of the building and get far enough till they start working again. You don't stop till someone knows about this, got it? That's an order." The younger man nodded in response, which was enough for Jon, who let go of him and walked back into the office to collect his weapons.

"What will you do?" The officer called out as Jon stepped back out of the office.

"They must have hit the security room, only way to take out the power. I'm gonna try and bring it back on."

It was about time Shor got moving as well, he thought, reaching down towards the corpse of the paste-headed man at his feet. Long, wicked climbing claws pierced the tips of his gloves and buried themselves roughly into the dead man's ribcage, his fingers gripping it like the handle of a handle. He lifted the corpse up by it's bones, feeling them crack under the strain. He roughly tossed his rifle down the short hallway, bowling over a guard who had been coming around the corner, and drew his vibroblade.

With another roar he turned the corner and rushed down the corridor like a freight train, massive frame taking up most of the available horizontal space, a panicked guard firing two shots into the back of his dead friend before the same corpse was used to crush him into the wall. The officer just behind him didn't get much chance to try anything, Shor's vibroblade ripping through his arm, torso, and the corner of the wall in one powerful stroke.

He was far from the other three, and from the new presence of a lightsider of some kind, but that mattered little. The many little meats in front of him were his prime concern. He charged around the corner, headless body serving its purpose as an improvised shield as it absorbed fire from another guard doing his damndest to guard an ordinary secretary. The sad little guard and the woman he stood guard were cleaved to bits as he roared wildly, kicking aside a severed limb and dropping the now useless meat-shield. The corridor was empty, leading to stairs and farther away from the others.

It would do. He moved up the stairs to the second floor, grabbing some young intern by the face as he ran through the door at the top an throwing him bodily over the railing, his bones cracking with the impact and screams ringing out amidst the chaos. He could smell it, the true prey, the one he was looking for. He would be up here. He drew his E-11D into his left hand, making sure it was set to stun. It wouldn't do to kill live-only prey by accident.

Ender was halfway up the stairs, each foot thudding loudly against the metal steps. The others were doing well and everything was going according to plan. The main lights in the building shut off as the emergency ones turned and flooded the room with a red light. That meant Mardos had made it to security and would delay the reaction of CorSec and any other official response. When he was about to reach the top of the stairs a behind him swung open as a newcomer stepped into the room.

Immediately the Legionnaire was able to sense it, the light side that radiated from the Jedi. In a place that was filled with dread and despair, it made the warrior stand out like a beacon. Ender slowly turned around, his gaze locking on Saul's eye as he would witness the Sith's eyes turn from their blueish silver to a dark but striking yellow that stood out even in the emergency lighting. Everything seemed to go silent as a calm sort of rage swept over the Legionnaire and that even the Jedi would be able to sense. He would have dealt with it personally but he wasn't here for Jedi. Mardos would hear Ender's voice in his head shortly after this, There's a Jedi. Introduce yourself.

Without saying another word, Ender turned away from Saul and continued up the stairs, his focus on one thing only. Two steps were taken at a time until he reached the second floor. A couple of officers had managed to make it to the captain's office as well to help evacuate him but the captain still wouldn't unlock the door. That was unfortunate for the officers. When Ender finally reached them, one of them turned and attempted to pull out a blaster but he simply grasped the man's collar before throwing him over the railing and making crash into a cubicle below with crunch. The other didn't even have time as the Sith's blade slashed across his leg and then his chest as he dropped to the floor afterward.

Ender turned towards the door as he was still able to sense the captain inside. He slammed an open palm against it, the force building in the same hand as the door would fly off its hinges and collide into the desk that the captain took cover behind. The man got up and fired a shot at him but he simply used his blade to block and disperse one shot before using the force to pull the captain onto the table. The man was stretched out on the furniture and Ender quickly slammed his blade through the captain's hand, pinning him to the table as the blade wobbled from the impact. "You're coming with me." Ender turned his head and spoke out to the force to the others, Bring the Rangers to the conference room. Now.

As Mardos stood to leave the security room, a figure on one of the monitors caught his eye. A lone man had entered through the same way they had come, heedless of the clearly present danger. Interesting. Slamming the blade of his glaive into the control panel, Mardos would rip it across the console, leaving it a ragged sparking mess. Nobody would be able to bring the power back up from the location, or do much of anything, but the emergency power would remain on and the cameras would still be rolling.

Backtracking through the corpse strewn hallway, Mardos would sense two things at once. First, the presence of the light ahead of him, a shining beacon amidst the darkness that the Shadow cast in the building. Second would be Ender’s telepathic message. Quickening his pace, the Knight of Ren felt the anticipation growing within him with each step.

”Hello Jedi.” The deep digitized bass of Mardos’ helmet echoed through the red lit room as he stepped out of the hallway and stalked towards the stairwell, planting himself as an obstacle between the Jedi and Ender at the bottom. Observing the Jedi, his lightsaber held at the ready, a trill of excitement shot through Myr.

”I’ve been looking forward to this.” Wreathed in the Shadow and glaive held at the ready, the Jedi would have to first go through Mardos before he could prevent the disguised Sith Cultist’s sinister plans.

Balal's attack had managed to stun the Twi'lek ranger. Casting burns across the man's body as he now tried to crawl away. Fear gripping him, the fight over for him. He needed to flee. But the Echani had better ideas. Sheathing the vibro sword, the knight of ren slowly walked to the man. The shadow still filling his body, he kicked the ranger hard enough to send him upward. Bouncing off the ceiling and back to the floor, feeling the man's ribs break as he did so.

The Echani intended to toy with the Twi'lek a bit more but he stopped and looking around. Feeling the shadow coil and ripple from the disturbance. The light had come. As they had expected, just not so soon. Balal wanted nothing more then to meet the light, and drowned it with his own darkness. Putting thought to task he left the ranger broken and started to move down the hall. But Ender would speak to them within the force. Requesting the ranger.

The knight would return to the broken ranger. Taking him by his head tails, he drug him down the hallway like a sack trash with the aid of the force. Not that he need it to drag the man, he simply didn't want to bend down. He also returned his sword to his hand. Once again moving down the hallway, he made his way into the main room of the first floor. The conference room was on second. As if to overlook the main entryway of the first floor.

"what's the saying, Rangers lead the way ?" He said mockingly to the unconscious Twi'lek. Then tossed him to the top of the open stairs, following him with a leap that would allow him to land a few steps short of the ranger's resting body.

He huffed. He could sense the growing tension on the other side of the building, light rising to fight dark and the distant echo of a reference to something long forgotten to the annals of time. Unfortunately, there was other work to be done, so he'd have to find some other Jedi's face to wear as a hat another day.

Stepping onto the second floor he marched towards the back of the building, bear-swiping a panicked security officer who dove out from behind a doorway and painting the wall with half his head. Blood-drenched claws reached out to bury themselves in yet another rib cage, a new and less perforated meat shield. Stomping along and ignoring the fairly distant sounds of blaster fire he steamrolled himself down another corridor, towards where he felt his prey was around somewhere.

Jumping out at the end of the corridor, a young woman in a Sector Ranger uniform opened fire with her sidearm, stun baton in the off hand. Letting out a resounding roar he charged forward, soaking the shots with his meat-shield and rocketing down the hallway, the Dark Side filling his limbs fire and fury, the corpse going from shield to battering ram as his alarming speed boost brought him into close range. The ranger spun aside, though the corpse clipped her shoulder, leaving her with only her baton in hand. Shor threw the corpse, the Ranger ducked under it and thrust for his chest.

Snarling derisively he took a half step back and snapped his arm out, grasping the shaft of the baton away from the stun head, and pulled. The ranger was launched towards him and his rising knee, a sharp blow to the Ranger's diaphragm that doubtless broke a few ribs and left her breathless. Her grip slackened and Shor pulled the baton away, jamming the the stun end repeatedly into her to make sure she stayed still.

Grunting, he tossed aside the baton and hefted the very unconscious Ranger over his left shoulder, Vibrosword still in his right hand, and began making his way to where he understood the conference room was, the back center of the second floor. At this post there weren't terribly many personnel at this area, though he did find some old lady cowering in the conference area whimpering and praying to some god or other.

Shor promptly kicked her head into the wall to silence the irritating noise, nodded in satisfaction, and dumped his ranger atop the conference desk. He stood facing the door, huffing slightly.
"Ranger secure at location.", he informed over his comm unit.

Now we wait.

With the lights settling in to red as the alarm shut off, the golden glow from his lightsaber helped to keep the room lit around him.

Across from him one of the Knights of Ren took off up the stairs, and while he went to throw himself into pursuit he was quickly cut off by another suddenly blocking his way, spitting words at him as he sensed its emotions inside bubble and broil over at the contest it saw before them. This was not the first time he had encountered such an enemy, and part of him doubted it would be the last, but one thing was for certain this time, he would not be running now. And if he meant to try and stop whatever was happening, he was left with no choice, they needed to be subdued, or worse.

Saul began to run forward toward the Knight, keeping his blade up in his left hand across his body to defend, while with his right he flung an office chair at his opponents chest with the Force to keep him busy as he closed in.

There was no sense in running away, this time he would not fear them.

Jon had pushed through the chaos to make his way to the stairwell, planning to move down and get to the security room. Running with his blasters drawn, one in each arm, he was prepared for a rough night. But by the time he reached the stairs he realized he wasn't prepared for just how bad things could be. Words from below the stairs reached him before a body came flying up the stairs and landed at the top. Recognizing the Twi'lek ranger, anger swelled up within him, and he let it focus him.

Stepping forward to the top of the stairs, careful to not step on the Twi'lek, he aimed his blasters down the stairs and fired as he saw a figure jump up. As the masked figure landed a few steps below, bolts fired from both blasters flew towards him and would hit him squarely in chest unless he managed to find a way to move out of the way. But given that he as landing at the end of a jump and the almost instant impact of the blaster bolts due to the short distant they would have to travel, he would have almost no time to do so. So it was very likely that the two bolts from each blaster would land.

A normal person would probably have died from such an attack, or at least knocked out cold almost instantly. But Jon got the feeling that these guys were not normal, given their brutality and their audacity in pulling off these attacks. And though he wasn't sure of it, it looked like the fellow had jumped all the way from the bottom of the stairs to nearly the top. If that was the case then he might be dealing with more of the crazy Jedi Trys was investigating. So he would be ready to respond to whatever the outcome of his attacks was. Be it making another attack to make sure he was incapacitated or avoid any attack coming his way.
