OOC: Jedi Secure Communication Channels only. This is not a galactic wide address.

The holovid of her galactic address ended. Alex took one deep breath and immediately flipped on another. Suddenly, her voice would reach each member of the Jedi Order. “The Force has sought to test us. We will raise to that challenge just as we have faced every other. We are family and we will not fail.” The gravity in her voice was unmistakable. “But we must accept the reality of our challenges. We serve not because the galaxy cheers us on but because it is our duty. We will never abandon those who need us...but we cannot serve if we are gone.” The Force gave its strongest warriors the most difficult battles. “You must all come home. All Jedi must check in and report to the nearest Temple.” The Shadows would know to seek Ifrane or send word to the First Shadow. They could not afford to pull them out.

“Ossus and Lothal are lost. New Aldreen will be served by a skeleton crew. No Jedi will call it home.” Dantooine would remain the same. The greater protection of the Rebellion made that possible. Ifrane was known only to the Shadows and Brighthome was a Jedi secret. Still, she did not relish these choices. “The Fleet and Yavin will be our homes. The easiest to defend and move.” Again, she stepped towards the camera. “The Republic is closed to us. If you are caught within, there is nothing we can do…but we must continue to serve." Her meaning was quiet clear. Tread carefully if their path took them there. "This war will not end until the Empire is gone. I caution you all when choosing to visit their worlds or help their people.” She did not want Jedi taking risks they could avoid. A small breath.

“But Peace is not possible. I am sorry I ever thought it was. I swore to you, all of you, I would not see our Order become a weapon of war. A tool of a government. An army.” Alex paused as the very weight of her past settled on her shoulders. “I will not ask one of you to join me in this, but I intend to take the fight to them.” Sevrin, Crix, Emilia had risked their lives for freedom. Too often, they carried that burden alone. Alex reformed the Shadows to strike at the Sith. It was time to come at them from the Light. “The Jedi Guardians were reckless and foolish, but their hearts beat on the right path. An Army of the Light to banish the Darkness. No more waiting for the Sith to strike. No more waiting for the next blow. We are the hammer. I ask only for volunteers, only those who wish to serve. May the Force be with us.”

Tupe could not believe what he was hearing. Sitting cross-legged in one of the meditation rooms of the Brighthome, he opened one eye in irritation as the Grandmasters speech pipped up on his comlink, which he really should have turned off before entering the quiet room. He was not pleased - it sounded like the Jedi where on the back foot once more, and the Grandmasters plan was to lead them into a direct confrontation in a galaxy that wanted nothing to do with them.

"Shame." he sighed, rising from his meditative pose and summoning his walking stick with the force. "I don't wish to see another conflict, more of the young ones killed to protect an ungrateful and undeserving galaxy." he tapped his way out of the meditation chamber, and went to gather what few belongings he had. "Droid, get my ship ready, I think it's time I went away." he sighed. Tupe had had enough. Into exile he would go, away from a galaxy that no longer welcomed him, or his kind.

Yavin.

His home, his responsibility and his burden.

And now?

One of the last true refuges of the Jedi Order, now that they had been thrown out into the cold by the ungrateful people they had saved time and time again. Maybe it was because they did it for free? People didn't respect or value things that they received for free after all. It was something he was musing on even as he sat at his desk in his cabin aboard his ship.

He and Atias would be on their way back soon enough.

Running a hand over his horns, Crix eyed the still of Alex and the backdrop of Yavin one more time before nodding. This... Yavin and the Jedi Order were worth it. They were worth doing more for, worth going to ground for and fighting this war however they needed to until the job was done.

He eyed his lightsaber as it rested on the desk in front of him. It was still his first lightsaber, the one he had lovingly, painfully, crafted from his mother's blaster rifle back when he wasn't sure if he would ever see her again in a far more final kind of way. In the end the Order, Hannibal, had managed to bring her back so he could see her again, so he could speak to her again and so he never had to find out what it would have felt like to pull the plug.

Time was fast approaching he'd pick up that same lightsaber and wield it in violence once again. Time was coming that he would cut living beings down because they stood between him, his people and a peace that seemed at times to have never once existed in the past.

Maybe one day he'd get to sit back and watch the Yavin sunset on a greatful Galaxy?

He could hope.

But until his hope was proven right, he was his mother's son.

"Fine... if they're going to lose their spines and will to fight the Sith?"

He snatched up his lightsaber.

"We'll do it for them."

Butterflies filled Ruus'all's stomach as he listened on the Grandmaster's announcement. This was what Ruus was made for! War and strategy, blasters and explosives, martial arts and Vaapad! But...A small voice in the back of the Mando-Jedi's mind told him that conflict was never to be looked forward to.
Damn.
Russel Monti was still relevant. That guy was old, too.

But getting back on track, Ruus needed to get his priorities straight. It was his responsibility as a Jedi Knight to serve and protect, and he would do just that alongside his fellow Jedi. Ruus'all got the impression that these would be the final moments that would change the galaxy in ways no one could imagine. He was prepared to give his life for Light. He was ready to join his family in Manda and he was ready to slay those who opposed him altogether.

Then, another thought intruded his brain. Zaia... He couldn't remember the last time he had spoken with her, but he was going to make the time to tell her how he really felt. Ruus'all Solus loved her. More than life. There wasn't much time left for the young souls either, with how the galaxy was twisting and turning, so Ruus needed to do something. And fast! Quickly, Ruus took out his dataphone and began a simple text.

"Zaia Krodas- You, me, and the sunset on Tatooine." He smiled giddily from behind his helm. Then, he decided to send another quick message to another friend. "Alor Solus, King Kotii, I need you to round up as many of your pals as possible. I'm gonna make things official between me and a special someone."

In the event that something happened while Ruus'all was away kicking Sith-ass, he wanted to know that he would see Zaia again. In this life...or the next.

But for now?

The last thing the Sith were gonna hear were the groovy sounds of Aick Rastley's unforgettable voice- the biggest Rast-roll this galaxy was ever gonna get.

And so it came, a call to arms.

This, like everything else that had happened, had come as no surprise to her. She didn't want war, and she wasn't going to kill the first Sith she saw. But she was aware that the Sith were on the move, and that there were many who posed a threat to the innocent citizens who had never asked to be involved in this war. Kashyyyk was an innocent planet, and yet it burned; simply because the Empress could, to send a message.

Clove wasn't sure if she'd be fighting on the front lines as a warrior, slaying Sith left and right. If she could have her enemies' blood on her hands and not crumble in guilt. But that didn't mean she wouldn't be there; this was what she'd been training for. She'd always wanted to be a Combat Medic, ready to help and protect anyone who had been harmed by the war machine. And now was the time for her to help the Jedi and the Galaxy in her own way.

She lowered her commlink and walked over to her room's grand closet. She yanked on the doorknobs and swung them open, revealing her pink and black armor. For a brief moment, her gaze was drawn to the breastplate, her thoughts wandering; would she come to regret this decision? Should she really stay and help now that she has a valid reason to leave the Jedi order and reclaim her freedom in the galaxy?

No, it'd be worth it.

Her hands reached for the armor, carefully removing it from its hooks and holsters and bringing it to her arms. There was work to be done.

Celesté was living in a small hut on Ithor when the call came in. She had been monitoring Jedi channels with more and more frequency since the election of the New Republic Chancellor, and the subsequent announcement that all members of the Jedi Order were banned from Republic space. It didn't take long after the announcement for the message to come through.

Alexandria Voran had not been the Grand Master of the Jedi Order when Celesté invoked the ancient tradition of Barash and left the Order temporarily on sabbatical. In the days since then, she had heard clippings about this new Grand Master. That she was reluctant to fight. That she sought peace above all else, even when it was clear the Sith Empire would give no ground.

Sith Empire... Just thinking the words was unimaginable.

The Sith had been vanquished. Their kind had been gone from the galaxy. How could this have been allowed to happen? She shuffled over to a small wooden crate she kept at the foot of her bed and pulled it open. The ornate hilt of her lightsaber rested there, unused for years. She reached for it, fingers closing around the cool metal, and withdrew it from the box. A flick of her thumb ignited the blade, splashing the walls with golden light.

It is time.

The words formed unbidden in her mind. Not in her own voice, nor in that of her Master's, whom she frequently heard in her dreams. The Force was calling her back. She had been away from her kindred long enough. The Grand Master needed those willing to fight, and that meant it was time to return home. She switched off her weapon and hung it again at her waist.

"Artoo?" she called out. A whirring answered her, and a little astromech droid sprang to life in the corner of the room. "Fire the ship up. It's time to go home."

Oren was resting in the fringes of the outer rim, as he had done so much in his later years. His eyes shifted closed as he meditated upon the history of everything that had transpired. It was inevitable, the war between Jedi and Sith -- it was a cycle that would never end, only temporary peace could be achieved. But, if peace was achieved for only a moment, then that in itself was a miracle to be sought for.

Each generation has its challenges, its own had faced against the cultists of the past, and while they had failed to prevent the rise of the Sith -- they stood up against the Sith, even when the Free Worlds had labeled them enemies of the galaxy. A Jedi's life was sacrifice, it always would be. The former Jedi council member rested his hands against his side as he readied his old blade. The time had come, he knew that much now -- he still had one last thing to give for the order.
