The Chiss Ascendancy is currently hiring mercenaries/bounty hunters/indies for short-term employment. Any open or hired mission with independent contractors are strictly one-time affairs. Those who affiliate with the Ascendancy are not a part of their nation, however are listed as a beneficial individual. A record is kept of all mercenaries that have proved to be useful as an asset for further employment. These dealings are often confidential in record, but are not kept as a withheld secret. The details of assignments are to be revealed upon review of your interest in the position(s). The reward will be substantial, especially for characters that achieve more than expected in the mission. The reward is given upon completion, where the contractor may choose their form of payment (money, weapons, etc.)

Uhh... Chiss aren't exactly terrorists or mass murders. Although, the Ascendancy could use a counter-intelligence operative, to act against the murderers and terrorists of other organizations.
