CDR-382aftersurgury.png

Light brown skin covers the body of the soldier known as CDR-382, as well as several scars through-ought the surface of it. While most are hidden under his signature crimson red Alsakan battle armor, two are quite visible on the sides of his face; the twin scars serve him as a reminder of his past. His once brownish orange eyes are now bright red due to cybernetic prototype enhancements. He keeps the hair on his head trimmed down to the level where it would not interfere with his actions. Even when not in his armor, he stands roughly taller then the average soldier, and his physique is kept in perfect shape, fitting for any soldier, even for his age.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Has been trained to use his sword, and knows several deadly styles in the Alsakan Arts.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
CDR-382 is excellent with Hand to Hand combat, as well as almost any weapons he can get his hands on. His ruthlessness and determination to get the mission completed no matter what the cost has made will to fight on stronger then ever. However, he is not best at negotiations and striking up conversations with others, leaving him mostly speaking only when to give orders and to accept them. When you approach him, it had better not be for asking him to go out for a few drinks or for a friendly chatter. He also sometimes seems to let his arrogance get himself into combat situations that are over his head. Some also say that he blindly follows anyone that has saved his life and is superior in strength, swearing his loyalty to them even if they see him as a disposable tool.

    ARMOR
    Alsakan Armor
CDR-382's traditional armor he recieved after joining The Alsakan Union. It bears many scars from his past battles, and has recieved more upgrades then any other suit of armor.
    CDR-382-1.jpg

+ Has a built in repulser jets that allows flight and quick maneuvers.
+ Instead of shields, he has very durrable armor that can withstand blaster and slug rounds before it locks up.
    - Repulsers must be refueled after hour of use. Long range travel with it is near impossible.

    Alsakan Armor 2.0
A new set of armor designed that was of Hutt Empire design. It offers a shield generator and strengthens his entire body.
    CDRShepard.png

+ Has a shield generator built in.
+ Has twice the strength when wearing it.
    - Shield does not last long under heavy fire.
    - Power source is stronger in armor, but also shows more, making him more noticable.

    Heavy Alsakan Armor
New prototype armor that bears unknown insignias. Rumor is that the one who designed and crafted this armor knew it was not meant for any known person. How CDR-382 acquired it is a tale he tells only a few.
    HeavyAlsakan2.png

    + Has a oversheild generator.
+ His strength and agility are raised.
    - He is a big target.
    - Not as fast.

Personality: Not as ruthless as his commander, but is just brutal. Wrong him once and you only get one chance left.
Bio: Real name is Lorreck Bernard. He was picked by CDR and was trained to be a soldier in the Alsakan Union, and his technical skills proved vaulable, and became the commander's right hand man. After the fall of the Union and the disbandonment of the Alsakans, TUF escaped death only to be severly injured that sent him into a nineteen year coma. He spent the next several years traveling as a freelance merc and mechanic until he was found by CDR nearly twenty four years after the fall of Xenvaer. With his pride restored, TUF-946 once more abandoned his former life and joined his superior back into the war against the Republic.
PERSONALITY:
Always one to follow orders, no matter what the cost. 382 is ruthless in his work, willing to kill anyone who he is ordered to kill, even his own soldiers if he is needed too. If his leaders want something, he will get it for them without question, and will put his life below theirs and their needs. A no nonsense type of man, he is desensitized to death and pain, no matter how horrific it is and even has a somewhat grim sense of humor on rare occasions. 382 seems to care very little to none for the Republic and its citizens, and would order the deaths of a dozen of its innocents if he felt it was needed or he was ordered too. All and all, 382's time in prison has made him a desensitize soldier without a conscience who shows no pity for those that stand against those he serves. The only way to gain his respect is to be higher rank then him, defeating him in combat, or having some important use.

HISTORY:
Before Alsakan Crisis
Once in the Alsakan Military, ______ was one of the few good soldiers for the time. He grew up on the Alsakan's main home world like many are, both of his parents were both in the Alsakan military, and it was only inevitable that ______ would follow in there footsteps. When he enlisted at 20, he proved to be one of the finest soldiers the Union had. It all changed however when he was assigned to find and kill someone who was plotting against the Alsakans. ______ followed the trail to a remote asteroid base where he would find the traitor and complete his mission. When he found out who it was, it turned out to be one of his life long friends, and was unable to complete the task.

______ refused his orders from his superior officer to execute his friend, and watched as his Superior shot his friend through the forehead with his gun. ______ was later tried for defying the Union and was committed into the Prisons. There, he spent the next decade rotting away, but never let himself become weak, not once. He realized he screwed up in his life, and he needed to get himself back into the Union. He abandoned his former name, as it would only remind him of his failure, and took on his new name: CDR-382, his prisoner ID code.

He soon learned to take care of himself behind bars, and to make the other inmates fear and respect him. He even gave some of the guards there some of the fear, none really wanting to ever approach him after he single handedly killed several inmates that tried to have there way with him and make him beg. 382 was soon the most feared prisoner in Alsakan space, and that was what attracted the members of the Union.

Approached by another Officer while behind bars, 382 was offered a chance to rejoin the military to redeem his honor, or to stay and rot behind bars for the rest of his life. 382 chose the former. Since then, he has completely devoted his life and his abilities into the Alsakan Cause. While he may not be a religious type, which is one of the half's of the Alsakan Union, he will always lend them, or the Military his strength in the time of need. Retaking his old crimson Alsakan battle armor and weapons of war, CDR-382 was ready to fight the war with the Republic that the Alsakan Union has entered.

During Alsakan Crisis
While he took little part in the large space battle that occurred over Coruscant, 382 stuck to the shadows and watched as the Republic retreated from there already lost battle with the Alsakan Union. Discussing the situation with the other officers, they concluded a plan that would give then the chance they would need to seize Coruscant for there own, as well as it's people. After the battle was won and Coruscant came under The Union's control, 382 was later stationed on the planet to ensure that there was order there.

CDR-382 leads his soldiers into combat. During his time there, he met a fellow soldier by the name of Major Venator Furtificus, A Zeltron Alsakan who shared a similar ruthlessness that 382 had. It was later confirmed that the two, accompanied by another Alsakan Major by the name of Devaun Vance were called into an important mission to retrieve several POWs that were being held by mercenaries. 382 and Venator cleared the base of most life, sparing not a single mercenary as they made sure the mission was a success and the prisoners were rescued. Accepting the casualties and one dead POW, the Mission was a success and both 382 and Venator were congratulated on the success.

Assigned to take control of the planet by Van Tien, CDR-382 went and aided General Victor Levon in the space battle above the planet. Accompanied by two elite guards of his choosing, he went and prepared his troops for the ground battle that was to come, but never came. While Leyon would take care of the space battle, something went wrong and the Republic used there orbiting stations and a surprise attack with their own ships to destroy the Alsakans. 382 and the others were caught by complete surprise and it turned out to be defeat for the invasion fleet.

382 would not die that day though, or be captured; he knew he and others were still of good use to the Union alive. Thinking fast, and accepting the losses, 382 and a handful of other soldiers and officers boarded his shuttle as they fled the battle. Some would call it an act of cowardliness, but 382 never saw it that way. They may have lost the battle, but the war was still far from over, and 382 slowly began to doubt his new superior as he fled back to his home. This doubt would soon become something much more: A hatred.

One of his missions included a infiltration and spy mission. 382 was not the type to do these sorts of things, but his superiors were confident he would complete the job. They were wrong. No more then twenty four hours of being on the planet, 382 was ready to leave before he encountered a Force User by the name of Forte Viro. He quickly figured out that 382 was not a Trader like he was posing as and blew his cover. 382 went to the extreme into taking a hostage in the cantina as weapons were soon aimed at him and his men, but before he was caught, he quickly escaped the cantina with the help of smoke grenades shot by his low cover men across the building. With his men either dead or unconscious, he made a dash for his ship, but despite all his training and trials he went through in prison and the war, Forte still managed to catch the Alsakan.

382 was forced to surrender, knowing he will have his chance when the time is right, and was delivered to the Republic. His status is currently POW. He may be a prisoner of war, but he was still not defenseless; His armor and weapons were only tools, tools that greatly helped him, but still just tools. It will be his training and past experiences that will keep the Alsakan alive.

During his time a POW, 382 was eventually interrogated by a Captain Darius Garne through non violent means. 382 held nothing back, and even openly admitted that Van Tien was a fool for his tactics and they were why the battles were lost. Even with threats of execution for his actions, 382 was not moved and even taunted back his interrogator that even if he dies, the Alsakan Union would live on. After getting little to nothing (As well as some slight amusement), Darius sent 382 back to his cell, who was escorted by guards nervous about 382. Time was running out for the Alsakan, and if could not break out himself, he would have to rely on his brothers in arms to help him escape.

Months passed by, and what seemed like a small escape plan cooked up by 382 that he would initiate the following night, the walls of his cell started to shake. Not knowing what was going on, 382 could only brace himself for the unexpected as another explosion had occurred seconds after the first one, one that he knew shook the floor he was on as it apparently short circuited something that caused his, as well as other inmates’ doors to open. As he was held at gunpoint by a prison guard as others were bracing for the invaders to arrive in the cells, another inmate was shot, causing chaos to run through the cell blocks as the inmates that were free fought against their captives. Quickly disarming and killing the guard with his own weapon, 382 grabbed his weapon and armor and dashed out of the cell blocks, getting hit only once in the process.

As he made his way down the halls, he soon came across a Jedi, of all the things that could have been there. However, 382 showed no fear, knowing the attackers were coming to the cell blocks and the Jedi was right in their path. That was when he heard a familiar voice and before him was his old ally Venator Furtificus with some mercenaries. Outnumbered, the Jedi fled after sending a telekinesis blast at 382 and causing a distraction to make his get away. Quickly recovering from the blast, CDR-382, not apparently promoted to Admiral, learned what had apparently been going on during his imprisonment.

Van Tien was dead, assassinated by Venator, also now an admiral and Admiral Dakar Claudius in retribution for Tien's previous failings and for nearly destroying the Alsakan Union altogether. And that there was a new leader in power, as well as new military regime that 382 was asked to join. He accepted without a second thought as he and Venator escaped the Republic prison.

After Alsakan Crisis
After his escape, CDR-382 knew that he would not be around forever, and felt he needed to take on a protégé so he can ensure there will always be another strong Alsakan after he is dead. After examining all of the worthy soldiers that were left, 382 came upon one that he knew had the potential: Loreck Bernard. While much younger then 382, Loreck was a quick learner and within the year was on the path that 382 had destined him for. To complete his training, 382 told his protégé that he would have to cast off everything that made him weak, just like CDR-382 had done in his past. That day, Loreck Bernard ceased to exist and from him emerged TUF-946.

What was done has already been done, and the events were set in place. Venator was now Grand Admiral of the Alsakan military after Dakar Claudius’s health was getting the better of him while CDR-382 and Victor Levon served under him. The Alsakans started to plan ahead to rescue two other of their Alsakan officers still imprisoned while they started to rebuild their forces lost due to Van Tien’s disastrous attack plans. Before any plan could be set into motion, the Republic came to us first.

They wanted the Alsakans to surrender and give up, but they refused at a large price to pay. 382 was on Xenvaer when the entire structure started to fail, and it soon became apparent that Xenvaer was under assault by the Republic and that the Alsakan Union had already lost. A full evacuation of all important Alsakans was ordered, despite the odds of survival being slim, and 382 did what he could to ensure that he and what fellow officers he encountered made it to their ships as parts of the city were bombarded. Many stayed behind to die on their city while other, more religious Alsakans stayed to do what they could to the Republic armada that was above them. As 382 made it to his shuttle, an explosion tore through where he was and nearly took his life as he crawled and limped into the surviving hangar where he was taken on by surviving Alsakans and left the falling city of Xenvaer.

Once out of Republic space and regrouped with what was left of the Alsakans, the surviving doctors examined their Admiral and knew they needed to act fast. The damage of from the explosion had done tremendous damage to his spine, arm and several other spots on him, and the only way to save him was for the doctors to operate and replace damaged parts with cybernetic prosthetic replacements. 382 woke up days later, and discovered that he was no longer himself as he once was. His left arm was cybernetic as was part of his spine, and to make matters worse, he was told of the damage to Xenvaer and the Alsakan Union. Despite everything that they thought and fought for, 382 realized it was true that the Alsakan Union had ultimately lost and was now barely alive. TUF-946 was not found on in the remains of the Union and was presumed killed in action while on Xenvaer.

The Hutt Wars
For the past twenty years, CDR-382 had traveled and served with the Raiders Coalition, formerly known as the Skeleton Guard. He knew there was no point in following the skeletal remains of the Alsakan anymore and knew his debt to them was now gone and a new one was replaced. He served as a squad leader for the Raiders Coalition, killing, stealing and destroying what needed to be dealt with, and 382 followed without hesitation.

The Hutts soon became involved, and when Venator approached them, 382 followed him. While he helps the Hutts in their war with the Republic and the Jedi, his loyalty remains souly to the Coalition. The Alsakans are now a relic of the past to CDR-382, a weak people that allowed themselves to be destroyed, and he now served the new Empire that would see the death of the Republic.

Things in the Galaxy changed, Gorrbag disappeared from his throne while rumors of either his death or disappearance are flying around. Now a Malgarr the Hutt ruled, an abomination of a Hutt if CDR-382 could call one such a thing. Venator also disappeared, though he never found out what happened to him after the Raiders Coalition disbanded. Somehow he doubted his old comrad was still alive. With most people being replaced violently in The Hutt Empire, CDR-382 took his leave of Nal Hutta and escaped possible death.

With every faction he worked for now gone to him, his body getting older, he decided to make himself freelance to who ever can hire him. He rarely shows his face to those who do not know him now and days, and answers most of his problematic issues with his fists or his blaster pistol.

After many Hutt Leadership changes, from Gorrbag, Malgarr and now Tusa, CDR slowly grew to dislike each of them, yet hold a respect for the one who held power most. Gorrbag and Tusa both held the power the longest, with Tusa now holding it longer and the Alsakan holding a strange respect for the creature. However, what started to interest him more was The Bogan that were allied with the Hutts. They fought like Jedi, but were vicious and cruel, and CDR wanted to know more.

After studying them, their ways and beliefs, CDR soon felt a disgust for the life he once helped preserve. Serving as the Hutts, as he saw it, was only an excuse to fight. He may not be capable of serving directly under The Bogan due to lack of The Force, but he now strongly believed in their cause and way of life. He would no longer serve to just help the Hutts, but to wipe out those who would deny their destiny and serve them the death they deserved. Growing older with each year, he had several suits of armor crafted for him to prolong his lifespan so he may hopefully see to the end of the Republic and Jedi, and the full rise of The Bogan.

He would take on his own Protégé, and pass on the way of the Bogan to those who could not touch the Force. The Bogan would continue to thrive.

The Hutt Wars: Part II
In the years that followed, CDR-382 continued to serve the Hutt Military, but was more so loyal to the beliefs and mission to the Bogan Empire. Before he could find and attempt to join them on their mission, he was assigned to assault the Jedi on Coruscant, knowing it would be proof he was worth joining them if he killed the Jedi. Leading the assault on ground with several others, CDR was picked out by the Jedi Raynor Cree and the two entered mortal combat against each other high above the fighting happening down below.

Both CDR and Raynor fought and seemed equally matched, but just as CDR thought he gained the upper hand both he and Raynor met an end to each other's hands. Both dying, the two exchanged words before CDR succumbed to his wounds and went to clear the way for the Bogan when they would one day assault the Jedi Temple, murdering his own men with his plasma rifle turned into a bomb. His final thoughts were of his protégé taking up the mantle he placed before him, and that he would carry on their beliefs to others into the future.

KILLS
  • Baga, Mercenary Warlord(Played by Wing)
  • Deke Driez, Alsakan initiate who was believed to be a Spy.
  • Joshua Cratin, Private in the Hutt Corps who interfered with missions and put other Hutt soldiers in jeopardy.
  • Ozan Dagger, insubordinate soldier who made dangerious enemies, but fetched a high price for the Bounty Hunters Guild.
  • Raynor Cree. Jedi Knight who defended the Temple against CDR's assault. Was also the one who killed CDR during their fight.

INTERESTING FACTS:
CDR-382 is a character from Phillip Black's Unreal: Xenomancer series. In it, he plays a Xenomancer Soldier named Commander CDR-382. He is not a former prisoner who takes on his Prisoner ID number, and his name in the series is instead just a numbered code he was given after reciving cybernetic upgrades into his body. He plays one of the main antagonists in the second and third films.

The Final Update to the character, as he has been killed by Rom's Jedi. What a long lived character, starting at the beginning of The Alsakan Crisis to the end of The Hutt War. I must say I enjoyed using him all the way to the end... well, minus the whole part where Ols arrested him and inprisoned him for several months. LOL
