Caerllion guided Asher toward the dancefloor, ignoring the half-Sephi comment about Vahliri and the fact that Altair seemed to be wanting to do a stripetease in the middle of the party. The Acolyte was far more interested in the man, which hand he was holding right now.

When they arrived at the dancefloor, Altair had finished his performance and probably many of the guests were sad for not being able to see his endowment. As soon as the Tiefling left, a slow music started to play. Caerllion allowed Asher to take control of their dance, allowing the half-Sephi to move his hand until it was on his shoulder.

With Asher leading their dance, Caerllion took the opportunity to close his eyes and only feel the presence of the other Sith. Their hands intertwined and the half-Sephi holding his waist. Without any doubt it was the most pleasurable dance that the Annfyn had. All the others that he participated with were with other nobles and not all nobility was agradable. Most of them were hypocrites and sycophants.

The Annfyn opened his eyes in surprise when Asher dipped him. He watched the half-Sephi wink and smile at him, making Caerllion blush a bit. For some seconds, the Acolyte didn’t know how to react and only stared at the other Sith eyes. This was something that he never expected that the other was going to do.

Then, he finally recovered and smirked at Asher. Caerllion leaned, getting close to the half-Sephi. Someone that saw the two could think that they were going to kiss, but the young man had only moved until his mouth was close to the Champion’s ear so he could hear him whisper. “Well, well, well. You surprised me with your dance moves. I love it! Do you know, maybe we could dance more another time, but only the two of us. Without all these Sith. What do you think of a date?

Roman was happy to see his friend too, gladly taking the bag of goodies discreetly in the handshake and placing them in the inner pocket of his tuxedo jacket. "Hell yes, I'm way too sober for this party as well!" He said, allowing Altair to guide the two of them towards the bar. When the first line of shots came by, he grabbed one of the glasses and cheers with the Tiefling, clanging them in celebration and down the hatch. His face grimaced temporarily until chewing on a lime to ease the liquor after taste. Knowing that his friend could drink just as much as him, there was no point in slowing down today.

"Another round!" He instructed the bartender, "Oh and can you fix me a Cosmopolitan as well?" He asked, shifting his attention towards Altair. "Have you met Celeste?! I invited her here to join me tonight. She wanted something fruity." Roman smirked, attempting to capture his date's eye contact and if he was lucky, hopefully have her join him and Altair for some further rounds of shots. @LadyRen

"Not much man, I had to go to Scarif for some Empire business. Rather boring trip but I did get to meet your sister, Amira. Right now, I'm waiting on some intelligence for this excursion I got planned in Vjun. Pretty cool shit." He chuckled, downing around round of shots as they were poured.

"How about you?" @Sreeya

Asher leaned in when Caer did, Looking amused as the Annfyn whispered in his ear. "I picked up a few things before prison." He teased. "I real date hmm," he paused but only for a moment. "I think that would be...nice." The half-sephi answered a little nervously. This was all very new to him. "You know where to find me, and thank you for the dance."

Asher would then lead them off the floor before giving the Annfyn's hand another little squeeze. Then letting the Acolyte go to mingle with others as he seen fit to. The half-sephi however, needed a drink. As he looked for the bar, he noticed Vahl wave him over with her glass. His blood went warm and he blushed a little. But this time her single was clear, "Here, now."

Feeling more than a little warm all the sudden, he took off his coat as he approached the half-annfyn and draped it over a char as he asked a server droid for a Felucian mojito in a tall frosted glass.

As the drink came, Asher suddenly found himself overcome by new faced. To no surprise most were interested in the half-annfyn Champion. Quickly stirred the drink with the straw before casting it aside. The half-sephi then took a drink at the wrong time, nearly choked when the...Ailis was it? called Vahl a bitch. He recovered, wiping his mouth be took another drink. Then continued to casually, or not so casually look over to Vahl. "Braver than me." he muttered to himself.

Her main focus was on the conversation with the two stunningly dressed women in front of her, but she quickly turned her head to observe the crowd, noticing that Roman was approaching the bar with the young Tiefling (@Sreeya) and it immediately brought a smirk back to her lips. It seemed like they were about to have a good time and she couldn't wait to take a few rounds of shots with them, but for now she was having a pleasant conversation right here. "Oh thank you!" she replied with a genuine smile into the direction of the Half-Anfynn (@Altaris), before she glanced back at Roman with a smirk. "Champion Roman Antilles. We've recently been on a few missions...", she would then add with a wink, her gaze redirected at Vahl and the acolyte who had just introduced herself as Ailis (@Arcangel). "Hey, Ailis. It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Celeste and you're right! We do match!" her chuckling was genuine since this was definitely some sort of unplanned coincidence. Before she could continue with this conversation, another party goer (@Taygood) was joining them, obviously nervous and slightly uncomfortable. His request made her raise an eyebrow in surprise, not quite sure whether he was being serious, but it seemed like Ailis had dealt with it anyway. However, the idea of sending him over to Tiamat was an amsuing idea and she was very curious to see how this would play out.

Ailis' comment about Roman being stuck with Altair made her sigh dramatically, but she would soon start laughing. "You're right. Guess what won't see him tonight anymore". She immediately grabbed the Acolyte's hand with a broad grin as she was indeed eager to start dancing. "Sure! I'd love to. Are you two joining us?" she asked Vahl and the unknown man as well, briefly waiting for their response before she would accompany Ailis to the dance floor. While they made their way through the crowd, she looked over her shoulder, throwing Roman (@Faded) an 'I'll be with you soon' glance because he had just signaled her to join them. She would have loved to join them at the bar, but they were busy talking anyway and she was more than delighted to dance with Ailis for now. She seemed to have indulged in a few more drinks than her already, so Celeste knew she needed to catch up soon, but for now it was good that the alcohol was not affecting her dancing skills.

Altair downed a few more shots, clearly in a great mood. He glanced past Roman over to his date (@LadyRen ), “I haven’t met Celeste, no,” He said, “But nice dude, she’s real pretty. Sure makes you look good,” He said with a grin as he playfully nudged Roman. As Roman ordered another round, the tiefling knocked back a few of them in quick succession. Altair chuckled as Roman mentioned running into Amira, “I’m surprised you made it out alive. She’s a firecracker.”

“I’ve been doing military ops mostly,”
Altair explained, “Got into the Ziost academy so pretty hyped about that,” He glanced up at the bar and noticed Asher wander over and the way he kept glancing at Vahliri. With Ailis taking Celeste away to dance, they were briefly alone but he saw how nervous Asher was as he almost choked on his drink. Altair also hadn't missed how Asher had been eyeing Vahliri since he arrived.

“Gimme a sec, I see a desperate cry for help,” Altair said as he clapped Roman on the shoulder before grabbing two shot glasses and walking over towards Asher. He smiled at the man, offering a shot, “What up, dude, good to see you out and mingling,” He handed him the shot and clicked their glasses together to throw the shots back. He threw an arm around Asher’s shoulder and walked them both closer towards Vahliri.

“Vahl! Have you met Asher?” He said brightly, “My man here saved my sorry tail not too long ago by taking on a Jedi master and a Knight at the same time. Straight up fuckin’ baller,” Altair said confidently, “Andddd he ain’t so bad on the dance floor,” He flashed her a wink.

Anai turned her head just after getting a drink for herself, hearing someone call out to her before noticing that it was none other than Vahl, and so the Kaleesh didn't take to approach her and her group, which was now quite bigger "Long time no see Vahl, it's nice to see you" Anai said with a smile behind her mask before her eyes scanned the other people that were a part of it, she didn't really know any of them except for that one girl that sold Alexios some drugs that one time "My name's Anai, nice to meet you all as well" Her eyes turned back to Vahl, glancing at what she was wearing "I like your outfit, looks really good on you, very..." Her eyes wandered off for a moment, noticing the other Kaleesh at the party that was going bare chested and wearing a silly robe "...Golden" Poor guy, he must've left Kalee recently and know nothing of how to dress at social parties, Anai had been there, she could sympathize.

Anai leaned towards Vahl, whispering in a lower tone for a moment "...Wasn't the girl with you before the one that tried to burn you alive that one time, is everything all right?" Anai asked, a mix of curiosity and concern in her voice, leaning back after hearing whatever Vahl would say in response just in time to see Altair approach, waving at him before listening about what he had to say about Asher "That's quite impressive" The Kaleesh said in response to the Tiefling hyping up the champion, processing the social interaction before whispering Vahl again "I believe he wants you to dance with Asher, could be wrong though" She simply added, still not the best and picking up on that kind of stuff.

Clearly enjoying herself, Vahliri lifted up her glass to take another swig of the amber liquid, and promptly had to stifle down a snort when Ailis fired back with yet another sharpened quip. The half-Annfyn glanced over the rim of her glass - a smirk tugging at the corners of her lips. “Not a chance,” The half-Annfyn quipped right back when Ailis said not to change - throwing in a wink of her own. She glanced over when Asher making his way over - smiling a bit brighter and offering the Champion a wave of her fingers.

Her attention proceeded to shift back to Celeste after that, her expression immediately seeming to sour when the woman revealed the identity of her date. The half-Annfyn hadn’t recognized Roman out of his armor, but now that she knew who he was, the Champion made no attempt to mask her distaste. “Well, hopefully he knows how to behave with you, then.” She said with a bit of an edge to her voice - glancing out of the corner of her eye and towards the man in question. “In my experience, dude’s a total creep who doesn’t know how to keep his hands to himself.” The half-Annfyn squeezed the glass in her hands a bit tighter, exhaling through her nostrils before taking another sip of her glass. She made no attempt to whisper those words, either. “Just keep an eye out.”

Shaking her head a bit, Vahliri once more glanced past their little circle - the smile returning to her features when she spotted Anai join them. “Thank you!” She said brightly, running a hand across the skirt of her dress. "Been way too long.” With that, Vahliri turned her attention to both Altair and Asher approaching - fluted ears swiveling noticeably.

“Altair! It’s so good to see you. You look fantastic.” She beamed at the Tiefling, promptly turning her attention to the fellow Champion when Altair mentioned him. “I have, actually! Even managed to survive my rough landing on Bal’demnic.” The half-Annfyn grinned at him, making reference to that excursion just as he had earlier. Vahliri looked back to the Tiefling when Altair went on to hype Asher up and praise their past experiences together. “Damn.” She blinked a few times, eyes a bit wider than before. “That’s amazing, Ash.” She added, the look on her face and the tone in her voice betraying that the half-Annfyn was genuinely impressed. Her smile only tugged a bit wider as her eyes lingered on him, not missing the last thing that Altair said or the whispers from Anai. “Really? Well in that case,”

The half-Annfyn set her glass down before extending a hand towards Asher - her fingers lacing around his own as she stepped towards the center of the room. “Shall we?” She smiled back at him, giving the Champion a tug to drag him back to the floor.

Altair smiled as Vahliri dragged Asher off to dance, giving him a brief thumbs up when she wasn’t looking. He threw back another drink before glancing at Anai, “Damn, I don’t think I ever seen you in a dress like that before. You look beautiful,” He said as he took the time to actually take in sight of her. She was taller than him in her heels and the dress certainly flattered her physique. Altair looked briefly to the side, spotted Vex still caught up in small talk, and looked back at Anai, “Wanna dance?”

If she accepted, Altair would guide her out to the floor. By now, he felt rather confident both from the drinking and also because he had danced many times before. He would turn to look at Anai, placing a hand around her waist and tugging her close. Altair made a point to look at her face instead of her chest that was all up in his face from the height difference. It didn’t matter because the tiefling carried himself as if he were taller than Emryc Thorne.

He would lead the dance, swaying his hips and stepping back to lead Anai along before indicating to twirl her to the rhythm of the song.

Asher was about half way through his refreshing cocktail before he got the hint that Vahl wasn't playing hard to get. But simply waiting for dope to finally make a move. Sadly, even with a glass of wine and a mojito on board. He still didn't have the same guts in a social setting that he seemed to have on the battlefield.

He was so distracted by this, that he didn't even see or feel Altair coming. Until he was suddenly besieged by the Tiefling. "Dude!" Asher replied simply but cheerfully to the other Champion. Giving hims the usual bro handshack, clasping the around the thumb and ball of the palm. "Thanks, you got some moves yourself." He continued, then took the shot offered clinked that glass and tossed it back. Barely putting the shot glass down before being pulled along and toward Vahl.

"We have....actually!" Asher answered, at the same time as the half-annfyn. "Hopefully I'll survive this one too." He thought but didn't say, even a whisper, keenly aware now of the woman's incredible hearing. The half-sephi could not hide his grin, both as he noticed Vahl's smile as she remember the landing, and from Altair speaking of the exploits of their last battle together. "Someone had to cover your ass, I wasn't going to leave it to our resident porn start over there." He said, looking to Altair, nodding slighting in the direction of the Kaleesh with the golden cape.

"I just did what needed doing." He replied to Vahl's comment. Finally feeling a little buzz from the liquid courage. Seeing the look on her face, genuinely pleased by his actions. Then came the spark in her eyes, and he knew he was going for a ride. "Absolutely." He answered with a smile. Taking her hand in his, allowing himself to be lead wherever she wanted to go.

The beat of a drum, quickly followed by a guitar rift filled the room, as the two hit the dance floor. A little more in his element, Asher continued to hold Vahl's right hand, but brought his left down to the curve of her back and pulled her in close. Letting the rhythm of the music move their hips, almost as one.

"Have fun!" Anai told Vahl before she left, proud of her obviously great wingwoman skills before taking a small sip from her drink, her eyes wandering off to Altair as he took a glance at her "I-um-thanks, took me a while to understand fashion when it came to the wider galaxy...And certainly took me a while to move around in heels" Anai said, the mask fortunately hiding any sign of her being flustered by that other than the fact that her ears got ever so slightly redder "You look great too, although that ain't exactly news to anyone" The Kaleesh added, deciding to pretty much imitate Altair and down her drink after he asked for a dance "Sure, I would love to!" Anai said, offering Altair her hand and allowing the Tiefling to guide her to the dance floor.

Anai would wrap one of her hands around the Tiefling's neck, her clawed fingers softly resting on it as to make sure she wouldn't accidentally hurt the sith champion while they danced. Anai's eyes, her only visible part of her face at the moment, focused on Altair's as they moved, she knew that many people found the mask to be either weird or intimidating (Which was the point, to be fair) But Anai figured that the Tiefling was the type of person that didn't mind it, he did compliment it in the past, after all.

"So, I know it's a little late to say this but..." The Kaleesh said as they danced, pulling the Tiefling even closer, basically hugging him while they were dancing "Thanks for helping me the first time we met, things could have been much worse than a splitting headache and a trip to the hospital if you didn't get me out of that bus" Anai said, her gratitude probably being something that Altair appreciated as she buried his face in her chest without realizing.

Stepping back afterwards, Anai went back to dancing, getting a bit loose now that they had warmed up, The Kaleesh acolyte let Altair lead a bit more, twirling around, taking his hand to spin under it and then wrapping one of her legs around him, letting it rest for a moment before going back to their initial position and deciding to change the pace a little bit. Altair would suddenly feel how she would place her hand on Altair's hip before pulling with great strength towards her, the large Kaleesh woman deciding to take charge if only for a little moment to dip the big Tiefling, looking at him in the eyes as he hung from her arm, Anai letting out a soft giggle as he did, it did seem like she was having fun.

A grand victory required a grand celebration were the thoughts on Venthis' mind. That seemed to be the way of the highest echelons of the Empire. It was not as though there was not great cause for celebration, as their victory had been stunning for both their allies and their adversaries. What was the more surprising was the fact that he was attending these events with greater frequency.

Venthis had been a part of the blockading forces and deployed to contain the enemy in the far East of the planet, while denying them lines to retreat. It had resulted in a tense diplomatic situation, but Venthis had followed his mandate to the letter.

Here and now he found himself more at ease among his Sith Masters, but unlike other parties he was presently considered on duty. His destroyer, The Sorkorak, acted as part of the temporary sector defense rooting out dissidents while he helped establish planetary defenses.

Venthis did not take in all of the guests, opting not to insert himself unnecessary. Still he had not been so aloof not see the Lady of the Sith who had asked him for a dance not long before. He dared not venture across directly to her, it was not appropriate in that setting. Yet he still would not spurn the opportunity to speak to her again.

Instead Venthis found his way to the Governor. Venthis had a military career that did not align with the most impressive Acturus, but Venthis certainly knew him. Venthis was committed to the mobility of an Imperial Naval Commander, while Acturus path could lend to the merits of his present station.

They had met only in passing before, but Venthis knew that this appointment was well made.

Venthis approached the governor in uniform, his posture straight and rigid, prepared to give his respect.

"I congratulate you on your appointment, Governor." Venthis gave a bow at the waist, dignified the respect of the now superior officer. "This post is well suited to your talent." Venthis noted. He moved to the order of the day with only a brief pause. "All planetary batteries and defenses have been integrated to our network, and manned with our loyal troops. We have augmented the firepower to meet with the standards of fleet doctrine. Rest assured the Alliance will have a much steeper climb to retake this world should they dare to try."

Vahliri merely smirked as Asher confirmed the story that Altair told. She glanced back over her shoulder, that expression tugging a bit wider as she proceeded to pull the man towards the very middle of the dancefloor -weaving between the guests already swaying and grooving to the newest song - a bit faster and more upbeat than the last. The beat reverberated vividly in her fluted ears, vibrating through her extremities as hips and arms began to sway languidly to the music.

The half-Annfyn glanced up at Asher, feeling the hand that shifted lower to rest against her lower back. “I was wondering if you were ever going to ask,” She grinned at him, revealing that she had totally caught him glancing her way throughout the night. Vahliri brought her left hand to rest against the back of Asher’s neck - her fingers brushing against the bare skin. Her hips swayed side to side and shoulders rolled with an almost hypnotic finesse, moving to the faster beat that the song demanded. All the while, her gaze never left Asher - amber-colored eyes seeming to glint against the bright light that illuminated the floor.

As they danced, the dupatta draped around Vahliri’s shoulder gradually shifted lower - wrapping around her lower back and hooking itself in place by the crooks of her arms. She chose that moment to take a half-step backwards and turn in a half-pivot outward - her left hand flourishing out at her side before she snapped back to face the fellow Champion. A wide smile was plastered across her lips as she looked up at him, silently mouthing a few of the lyrics to the song as they danced.

It was no secret that Vahliri adored the dancefloor, and that was no different now - sinking deeply into the music and vanishing into a world of her own. And for that moment, Asher had every ounce of her attention as they swayed and twirled across the room. At one point, the half-Annfyn squeezed his hand with her left and lifted them both above her head, rising up onto the balls of her feet in order to twirl beneath his arm - the skirt of her lehenga and black hair whipping around with her movements.

She abruptly came to a halt after two rotations, once more coming to face the fellow Champion. Her hand found the back of his neck once more - this time pulling their bodies a bit closer as they swayed as a conjoined unit. “I’m glad you did,” She added to her last statement, that smile on her lips having yet to fade.

Asher began to move with Vahl, his red/yellow hazel eyes seeming glued to her form. "I was nervous, guess I needed a push." He admitted. A grin on his face nearly ear to ear. He was caught, and would have likely felt a little embarrassed were he not so lost in the moment and getting exactly what he had wanted most of the evening.

The half-sephi closed his eyes a moment as he felt the half-annfyn's. Her cool nibble ringers giving him goose bumps as they brushed up and down the back of his neck. He suddenly dropped his right hand, both hands now on her hips as the continued to move and sway together. Asher continued to keep up, seemingly matching the female Champion's energy and the music pushed everyone else away and it was just them. His eyes never leaving hers, after opening them once more. The glint of which reminded him of a clear night sky. "Beautiful" he whispered.

The dupatta slowly lowing to reveal her shoulders and ample upper body did not escape his notice, but he fixated on her eyes and the rhythm. Using the moment she pivoted to do one of his own the opposite way then snapping her back to him. With a slight twist, so she now had her back to his chest. Grinding a bit as she tried to face him. His eyes again glued her hers as he looked down. He also mouthed a lyric....changing his life to suit her mood.

It may have not been a secrete to others in the room, but his partner's adoration for the dance floor was a mystery to him. Fortunately he was proving to be matching her ability. So far.

As she lifted his hand and used him as a fulcrum to spin around, Asher used force. Lifting her just a bit, until he was at near eye level. Following her twirl, and her smile. Until finally she came face to face with him once more. There eyes locked as her confessed she was glad he asked. Technically he didn't, but he was not about to correct her in that moment. Instead, rolling the dice and leaned in for a kiss.

After he left Asher to do what he wanted, Caerllion went to look around the rest of the guests. Beyond some few, the Annfyn didn’t know most of these people. He wondered if he should approach them and start a conversation, but he decided against it. Picking a glass of some type of cold alcoholic beverage from a passing waiter, the Acolyte went to drink it peacefully in a corner.

He had been peacefully sipping his drink when he saw that Asher had finally caught Vahliri’s attention and was now dancing with her. The scene made him frown. It was obvious that he was having an attraction for the half-Sephi. However, he wasn’t feeling jealous of the two. It would be to give so much credit to the Champion, when there were even more attractive people around here than him. For example, Altair and that Firrerreo woman that was dancing with Wodan.

No, the feeling that he was having was annoyance. It was terrible for his ego to see Asher dancing around with a half-breed in the same way that he did with him, or even better. In his mind, it made him look less worthy of the half-Sephi’s attention than this hybrid woman. This was repulsing!

Or perhaps he was only trying to convince himself that he wasn’t feeling jealous…

While he watched their dance, Caerllion would strengthen his grip on the glass. Due to it being wet due to the cold liquid inside it, the glass started to slip from his hand. When he saw Asher leaning to kiss the half-Annfyn, the object finally slipped from his hands and shattered on the ground.

The Acolyte turned and walked away from the scene. Caerllion was certain that if he continued staring, he would probably throw a ball of Korriban magick at them. He wasn’t suicidal to do it right now.

John straightened his tie and brushed off his shoulders, even though there was no dust on them. He took a cold drink of milk, took a deep breath, and strolled on over to Lady Tiamat @GABA. Busy or not, he tapped her on the shoulder. "That lady over there-" John pointed at lady Ailis with his thumb -"she sent me. She said that you are pretty good at training people. She said you are the people's champion at teaching the dark arts," said John. He nodded at the recollection of how, just a moment ago, Ailis had recommended Lady Tiamat; he nodded as if it were a fond childhood memory. "Is it true?"

Altair almost half expected her to say no, but he was pleasantly surprised and pleased Anai opted to dance. He felt her hands around his neck, and he actually leaned into the touch, making it clear he didn’t mind the claws. His skin was certainly tougher than the average human’s, and he wasn’t worried about getting scuffed up. His amethyst eyes found her yellow ones, finding beauty in them even with the rest of her face concealed.

As she tugged him closer, Altair allowed his hand to drop a bit, sliding down to her waist in a more intimate hold. He was certainly surprised when she practically pulled him into a hug, his face brushing dangerously close with her chest. His face heated up quite a bit, but he kept his cool, focusing on her words, “Of course,” He said with a smile, “I wasn’t about to leave you behind. Besides, if I didn’t help, you’d prolly decide parties suck and never come out again,” Altair glanced up at her and grinned.

Altair led her through the dance for a bit, but he soon realized she knew exactly what she was doing on the floor. She was a far better dancer and easily took the lead and he let her. He felt her leg wrap around him and his hand traveled down to slide along her thigh to support the hold, sliding one of his feet back so she leaned her weight into him briefly as he met her gaze. He released her as she drew back, continuing the dance.

In all his life, he had never experienced what came next. With almost no effort, despite his bulky frame, Anai easily tilted him back into a dip. Altair gasped as he gazed up at her, taken by surprise as he clutched onto her almost in desperation at the sensation of leaning back like that. He hadn’t expected it, and yet he relaxed when he looked at her and heard that soft giggle.

That was when he realized that as a reflex, his tail had shot out in an attempt to balance him. It was caught on the bottom hem of her dress, the pointed end of his tail piercing through fabric. However, instead of drawing his tail back, he kept his gaze locked on hers as his tail smoothly trailed up, neatly cutting her a slit on the other side of her dress as well to reveal the other leg, the pointed end of his tail just barely grazing along the surface of her skin as he did so. Altair simply winked at her while he was still dipped, “Oops.”

With that, he shifted upright again and grasped her by the hand to continue the dance. It was clear he didn’t mind giving her the lead or taking over. He cut a path across the dance floor with her with whatever he had picked up from the last few socials, far more liberal now with where he placed his hands which alternated between her hips to supporting her leg or spinning her on the floor before tugging her back to himself.

In that moment, Vahliri was entirely lost within the dancing and the music that thrummed in her fluted ears - the sounds vibrating through her feet with each and every step across the floor. The half-Annfyn kept her eyes locked on Asher as they moved across the floor - that smile pulling just a bit wider when the fellow Champion muttered that compliment under his breath. Her hips swayed languidly as she spun around, dancing for a few moments with her back pressed against the fellow Champion’s chest. Her hand rose up from her side, coming to loosely linger on the back of his neck as they swayed together, “You certainly don’t seem nervous any more,” She tilted her head back with a smirk.

She was entirely focused on their dance, blissfully unaware of Caerllion being butterfingers with his glass and getting his panties on a wad on the other side of the dancefloor.

While she wasn’t expecting the sudden usage of the Force during their dance, Vahliri utilized the trick to full effect - using the added momentum to complete a few more rotations as a blur of motion before snapping back to face Asher - her hand sliding down to rest against his shoulderblade. That smirk once more brushed her lips, though the half-Annfyn couldn’t help but quirk a brow in surprise when Asher proceeded to lean in for a kiss - not at all expecting the man to be so bold.

Vahliri allowed the fellow Champion to lean on only a bit further - his face hovering close to her own - before she placed a hand on his chest to halt him in place. All the while, she didn’t stop moving - her hips swaying rhythmically to the music, “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves now,” She glanced up at him, “Haven’t even taken me to dinner yet,” She said with a playful grin, tilting her head ever-so-slightly. The expression on her lips and tone of her voice revealed at once that the half-Annfyn wasn’t perturbed, even if she had cut his advances short. With that, the half-Annfyn continued right along with their dance - using her grip on the man’s shoulder blade to twirl them as a conjoined unit - cutting across the room with long, graceful steps.

Asher gave a teasing smile and a shrug of his shoulders at Vahls opinion of his nervousness. He didn't want to admit the the liquor did most of the pushing. Instead continuing the focus on her, on the dancing. He was enjoying the moment to much to confess the truth.

The sound of the glass hitting the floor did not escape in notice. The warrior in him taking a side glance for a briefest of moments. Mostly for self security. Noticing the back of Caer as he self, but returned to Vahl's gaze. The half-sephi had come this far, there was no turning back now.

His use of the force had the desired effect, Watching the golden lace of Vahl dress and her raven black hair spin a little more and a little faster. But the fun would shift, as he embraced the moment a took the risk, he felt himself hanging. The lingering half second feeling like an eternity. Asher didn't notice the look but he did notice the talons softly pressing his chest, halting him in place.

Embarrassment hit him in the gut like a sucker punch. His pale skin now a little more red. The fallen Jedi feigned a smile but could only nod a reply of acceptance to the half-annfyn's polite let down. They continued to dance, embraced as one as the twisted and spun with the final fading notes of the music. Until the music and the moment, were over.

"Thank you." He said simply. Walking her back toward the bar. As they returned, he pointed to the glass. A server droid filling the shot once again. Asher slammed it back the moment he made it in range. Then summoned another smile. "Thank you again." He repeated. Then quickly grabbed his jacket off the chair and abruptly headed for the door.

"Well...I don't think parties "suck", but they certainly get very...Strange?" Anai let out a little shrug as they danced, not knowing how to describe her experiences with parties so far without getting into detail "I mean, that other party we went to had two different fires going on at the same time, they seem to get a bit too rowdy towards the end" The Kaleesh explained, looking around for a moment, half expecting things to suddenly go wrong just as she talked about that possibility, a small smile forming behind her mask before looking back at Altair "So I am trying to keep an eye out, just in case. But don't worry! I'll make sure to protect you if it comes to it, would be the least I could do to pay you back." The Kaleesh acolyte added in a cheerful tone, genuinely stating that even if it would sound like a joke if it came out of anyone else's mouth. Not many would tell the big Tiefling that they would protect him, after all.

After Anai dipped Altair, the Kaleesh's delight that came from the Tiefling's reaction turned into waryness as she started to notice something touching her skin and, while many would have noticed that it was a playful action from her dancing partner, a combination of the recent conversation and her lack of social awareness made her not notice that it was the tail that was behind it and come to the conclusion that it was someone else taking advantage of the fact that she was dipping Altair to either get handsy or prank her. Anai's grip on Altair would get tighter as she made sure he wouldn't fall to the ground before she threw her other elbow behind her, with enough strength to seriously injure someone...Had there been anyone like she suspected.

Instead, once she looked back at the Tiefling and heard the "oops", her ears got even redder, this time the intensity being enough to be noticed, as she let the Tiefling get up, her head tilting away from the Tiefling for a bit as she was visibly embarassed "Y-yeah, oops..." Anai couldn't look at Altair in the eyes properly for a bit after that, only calming down thanks to the fact that dancing soothed her. Probably a little too late after the fact the Kaleesh acolyte noticed what happened to her dress "...Did your tail do that? Can you use it as a weapon against others?" Anai asked, partly out of curiosity and because she liked to compare the different natural weapons other species had with her own, but then stopped herself from asking more before realizing something "Wait, I think I am supposed to scorn you for damaging my dress, my friend really didn't like how the one I borrowed from her ended up after the bus incident." While talking the Kaleesh kept dancing, of course, sometimes getting a bit more daring like before but also looking over Altair's shoulder to see how others danced...And how they didn't talk that much...Was she talking too much? Man, was socializing at parties hard.

Even as that moment passed, Vahliri didn’t take her eyes off Asher - lingering on the fellow Champion throughout the remainder of their dance. As the song came to a close, she clearly noted the way his pale skin shifted a deeper shade of red - and she didn’t miss the way that his feigned smile didn’t quite reach his eyes. It was abundantly clear that the man was embarrassed, and Vahliri couldn’t help but frown ever-so-slightly at the way it seemed to hit him like a freighter.

Vahliri followed the fellow Champion back to the bar, watching as he ordered himself a drink and slammed it back. When he made for the door, however, Vahliri reached forth from where she was sitting - grasping Asher’s wrist before he made it completely out of reach. “Wait,” She said, giving him a tug to look back at her.

“You don’t have to go, Asher,” She said softly, "And I don't want you to." Even if she wasn’t prepared to kiss him abruptly on the dancefloor, the half-Annfyn hadn’t been offended by his advances and didn’t particularly want to see him leave - especially not embarrassed and flustered as he was now. “Stay for a bit, have a drink with me,” She gestured to the barstool beside her, offering him a small smile.

Her grip on his hand remained, though it was purposefully loose enough to slip away from if he so chose - giving the man the opportunity to continue on his way out if he truly wished it.
