New Alderaan native Ceris Odrosess has announced to the Alderaanians her candidacy for president. She is the founder and current CEO of AzuraSystems™ and Club Euphoria. Many Alderaanians know of her family lineage of nobility. However there has been many dark rumors swelling around the former Republic admiral. There hasn't been an official statement on her leaving the Republic's naval force over a decade ago, but many suspect she was removed from her position.
Ms. Odrosess has played a key role in furthering New Alderaan's infrastructure and quality of life, offering many jobs to her company and donating her wealth. Currently she is standing amongst a large gathering within the Capital's main district, answering the many questions posed to her. Some are as follows:
1. Her stance on the Empire and the ISC
2. Future plans with AzuraSystems
3. Her core principles regarding how to lead New Alderaan.

"I plan on keeping our people and planet neutral in the matters of galactic wide diplomacy. While I have much respect for both the Empire and the Independent Systems Consortium, I currently believe it will prove more beneficial to stay out of those matters. However, my opinion is subject to change."
2. Future plans with AzuraSystems
"I will still oversee the operations of Azura. If I am elected I intend to make further usage of all my future endeavors' profits to fund our planet. While this may not be set in stone, I have been making plans regarding the construction of another city which coexists with our ecosystem. A 'bio-habitat city' so to speak."
3. Her core principles regarding how to lead New Alderaan.
"There are three things that I will not... can not change my mind regarding our home. The first is that we will continue to be a beacon of freedom for those who have lost their own homes. Secondly, I wish to continue cultivating our people's love for the fine arts and expound upon them; explore the many facets of science and discovery. Lastly, we will become the most technologically-advanced safe haven this galaxy has ever seen."
