PERSONALITY:
Having been raised under the ruthless hand of the Taungs, Kayle is hardened into a shell of nihilism and skepticism. Although he is tolerant of socializing with others, he displays only a distant and even mocking expression about himself. His attitude borderlines on arrogance - he thinks of both his allies and enemies as beneath his fighting prowess, the latter being upon first glance. He revels in combat, enjoying the termination of another life whether it be at the hands of his ally or himself. To an extent, he is prideful and refuses to tolerate loss against someone he views as lowly. However, he does carry a loathing respect for opponents that are able to equal or best him in combat.
Underneath this seemingly uncaring and callous exterior lies a dark, romantic individual. Because of the war itself, Kayle refers to the classical view of Light & Dark as narrow-minded on both sides. He does not believe in the concept of good and evil out of the belief that war "makes beasts on both sides". The only people he will show his respect to is "to those who have earned it", particularly his leaders. For anyone else, it takes a good amount of maturity and charisma in order to get in his favor. He holds an unshakable loyalty towards the Taung, willing and eager to die for their cause.
BACKGROUND:
Kayle was born on a Hutt-occupated Tatooine. Both his mother and his father were under constant harassment from criminal henchmen. Both were old, poor, and barely lived their life out. Despite what would happen later on in his own lifetime, they were the stepping stones down the path of no return. They taught him the ways of a thief, giving him skills such as evasion, bare-fisted amateur fighting, and the street smarts needed in order to make a living for all of them. He was only a young boy at the time, and already he was developing tendencies towards the darker page of society. But his personality was rather naive and feisty, as he was nothing more than a young lad at the time.
It wasn't long after he was being eight years of age that his parents could not afford to pay the debts they owned any longer. A small group of armed Taung, in order to force out the payment, stormed Kayle's home. Instead of simply taking money, they unleashed a brutal raid onto the barely stable home. They destroyed anything they came across, stole what was worth value, and murdered both Mother and Father in cold blood - with Kayle being forced to watch it all without any idea what was going on. It was soon realized that they were not under orders by their Hutt to simply take money; they were under orders to take the boy instead and terminate the parents as their punishment for their unpaid dues. Abducted from the home, he was forcibly brought to their headquarters.
At first, Kayle was destined to serve a life of servitude under the Hutt. However, another within the Taung had taken interest in the boy as a recruit for the war between the Hutts and the Republic. Taken into their ranks, Kayle had the rest of his path laid out for him in the form of an effective killing machine that would stand against the Republic's "manifest destiny". The training was exceptionally brutal, and it would take it until the aftermath of his 21st birthday that he would start to come out his practice phases.
