Things were getting in every way out of hand. No help was coming to the divided pair as speeders smashed and crashed above and around them. Their foe was better equipped and positioned as shots rained around the droid. He was running out of options as his equipment either was used up, useless, or running out of ammo. In short things looked bleak. Still Hiro could not allow these villains to escape justice, to let their fiendish ways run amok in the galaxy would only lead others down the same misguided path.

Currently the shots seemed to end and the pair of scoundrels were making their way away from the Cantina, checking twice around his cover to be sure, Hiro leaped up and began to rush in the pairs general direction, a singular revolver up and the other at his side if things got ugly. As he continued to pursue he noted the continuing crunch of vehicles and shook his head. Such death for such poor reasons, it really grinded his gears. So sufficiently motivated to continue on the droid looked forward and noted the sky suddenly opened up as a large dropship revealed itself. It looked armed to the teeth and prepared to bite.

While the cowboy in him wished to go on, to fight the good fight and bring these two to justice, he knew his guns could do little to that ship and it's guns could end him and his story. For once it was time to be pragmatic, the needs of the many outweighed these few villains.

Holstering his weapons he turned to head back to the Cantina to see if the hostage at least was alright.

As the ship descended, Mills took up position by the ramp, his gun pointed towards the cantina.
"After you." He told Torc. Torc was the client, and Mills always made sure his clients got out of a deal unscathed. Well, most of the time at least. He followed the man up the ramp, and lowered the weapon as the hatch began to close. Finally, as he felt the ship take off, he secured the weapon and holstered it. He turned to Torc, and said: "I guess we make course for Gadan's villa. Tear up the place and I bet you'll find more than enough money there to cover his little debt." He frowned, adding: "More to the point, though, we might have to expect company over there. Kang might tell on us to the cops. He knows where we're going now."

Rook made it through the back doorway just as the ship ascended into the chaotic sky above. Aiming his slug thrower for a split second he slowly lowered it as shooting at the ship would have done little good. Scanning the back alley the young gunslinger was given the sight of a bullet hole strewn mess. Several of the dumpsters had still smoldering craters adorning their exterior, and the adjacent building hadn't fared much better. Holstering his revolver Rook gave a quick shout to locate Hiro.

" You still in one piece? "

The man's voice echoed through the now quiet alley, a far cry from the hectic gunfight that had just transpired only moments prior. Looking over his shoulder back into the cantina, he hoped the man inside had either found a good place to hide or had gone to the authorities like he had suggested. He hadn't gotten a good look at the culprits, but if asked he would give a full report to his best ability.

''Why thank you sir.'' replied Torc as he strode onto the waiting ship. The pilot already new where to go, he had after all been pre-warned.

Waving calmly down to the driod and and the other man, he smiled turning back into the vessel as it sped away.

''As always Sonny, thank you for you assistance.'' he said, taking a seat and handing the mercenary a sizeable wad of credits. ''My men can take the rest from here.''

Hiro moved and noted his compadre Rook had made it through the fight well enough to be concerned for Hiro's well being than his own, something he was quite thankful of. Not wishing to cause the cowboy any undue duress he called out swiftly,

"Never was in the first place partner, but if your asking if they shot me than the answer is they couldn't of hit the broadside of a barn three feet in front of them,"

There shots were quite accurate in actuality giving the droid several frights and near misses, but no sense dredging up that in the wake of the tenuous gun fight they had both just endured. As the droid moved up and looked to his old cover, now mere ashes and warped metal he looked to Rook and extended his hand with an unbending optimism as he said,

"Authorities are on those bad doggies tail, hows the hostage?"

"As you wish." Sonny replied to Torc. He wasn't one to push his services onto others, and the term "Work less, make more" was something he adhered strictly to. As he pocketed the credits, he added: "You can drop me off wherever you see fit. If you need my services in the future, you know where to find me."

(OOC: A pleasure to roleplay with all of you. Duke, I promise one day Hiro will get to arrest Sonny. At least temporarily. XD )
