Solus Camp, Lothal

OOC: Open to all Mandalorians.

The Mandalorian people had been dying a slow death for many a day, their numbers a fraction of what they once were, their armies scattered, their fleets long since lost. Scattered, weakened, and sometimes forgotten, they had fallen far from the might of their heyday. This was even more true for the survivors of clan Solus. Once the mightiest of all the clans, they were reduced to a nomadic existence, barely surviving from day to day. But ever so often something happened, something so great that for a moment they shone as bright as their ancestors. For a moment they remembered who they were.

Today was one such day, a day of glory, a day of beauty. A call had gone out, to the few surviving members of the clan, though as with such things it had reached the ears of other Mandalorians as well. And when they arrived they were welcomed, for it was a day of celebration, and no matter their names, today they were all family.

A new life had been brought into the clan, and to celebrate this occasion friends and family, brothers and sisters, even rivals and enemies had come together to celebrate. There was drink, there was food, there were games, and there was laughter. Today, they were mighty. Today, they were Mandalorians.

It had been some time since Kaisa had seen a fellow Mandalorian, let alone such a gathering of her brothers and sisters. Her ship touched down just outside of the camp, Kaisa finding a clearing to set down her Firespray near a couple of others. As she exited and took in the sight before her, she couldn't help but crack a genuine smile beneath her helmet.

She thought back to the Clans of a bygone era and what their parties must have looked like, how grand they must have been. But even this loose smattering of Clans coming together to celebrate was an accomplishment, almost worthy of celebration by itself.

Through the crowd, Kaisa saw the helmets and faces of many she did not know. Eventually her eyes landed on the form of Reshelle Solus (@Wit), and Kaisa's smile from earlier returned. She could always recognize another Solus.

It is good to see you, sister. Kaisa said with a nod of her head. It has been too long.

For now, Kaisa would remain near Reshelle, her eyes scanning the crowd, looking for other Solus'. Eventually she'd find something to eat and definitely some liquor to drink, but Kaisa was content enough.

Today was a good day.

When the call had gone out, Nox heeded it immediately as he returned home to his clan. Because of his people's nomadic nature, it usually meant he was out in the galaxy, securing credits or supplies back for his kinsmen. Every birth however was a sign that each Mandalorian's efforts were paying off and that there was a way to secure a future for their people. It was a beautiful sight compared to the usual grimness that surrounded the general state of the Mandos and one that was cherished by them each time, making it a rather special event.

Nox arrived at the camp eventually and could instantly feel the general excitement in the air, it giving a sort of buzz as Mandalorians walked around with their shoulders eased of burdens. It was a scene to behold and he felt his own worries slowly dissipate as the mood of the party easily sank its hooks into him. As he walked through the camp, party goers would offer him nods or even come up to congratulate him, not specifically him, but his clan as they recognized that he was a fellow Solus. It was a success and night of celebration for all Mandalorians, not just Solus. While he cut through the gathering crowd, he spotted two familiar faces and he adjusted his course to meet with them.

Kaisa's words were managed to be caught by him last second and before Reshii could answer, Nox did for her as he stepped into both their view, "It has been too long Kaisa. Good to see you back here again." He offered her a firm shake, the one where they gripped each other's forearms, before retracting his hand afterward. Each Solus had sought their own paths in life and it was reassuring to him to see familiar faces returning home.

His helmet then swung towards Reshii as he placed his index finger against his forehead as a sort of salute while giving her a slight. "Reshii, hope you're staying out of trouble." He then corrected himself slightly for her, "Bad trouble." The Mando and her siblings always knew how to sniff it out, when they wanted to and when they didn't.

Yay another Solus. Oh well, Laren was here for the drinks and other Mandalorian brethren that were coming. It wasn't that Laren didn't like the Solus family, but he was a bit bitter his Clan remained small. Slowly it will build again with time, but until then it was time to celebrate the recruitment of another Mandalorian.

Laren remained on the outside by the bar area. He sat with his helm off. It laid on the counter in front of him. He continued to drink his Corellian whiskey and watch the celebration take place. The bartender even a Solus. He was surrounded by them, though there would be no banter. At least that was what he had hoped.

"Hey bartender, let me get a bottle. I'll be here a little while."

The Vano sat quietly in the area and listened to the cheers, the small talk, the laughter. It would be a good time if he had his friends around. Maybe even his brother, but that was not the case. Conversation with a Solus was mind melting, they were so, well, stiff. Like something was up their ass and to the left. Oh well, at keast they stocked the place with good drinks.

The Nakadr would exit hyperspace over Lothal, quickly descending towards the surface of the world. It didn't do. It wasn't a Mandalorian world, and the thought of his people not being where they deserved to be, bothered him. He wasn't entirely sure why he was going, but it was the path that Kad had led him on and where his god led, he followed.

As the ship touched down and the ramp lowered, ancient silver and blue beskar would take measured steps down the ramp. He was mindful that this was a celebration, but he also knew that at the Black Keep, he had been a voice against Kotii. At least, not outright against him. He posed questions and the man danced around the answer. A few of his kinsman were with him, and he had confidence that this wouldn't turn into a brawl of sorts. His retinue would follow after as they willed it, and he wasn't one to rush them.

He would make his way through the gathering, bowing his head in greeting to those around. Names would be exchanged, some stories shared. After some small lapse of time, he would finally make his way to the bar, where he took a spot besides Laren. "Something wrong, ad? You seem troubled." he'd ask as he waved down the bartender. "The birth of one of our kind is a blessing from the gods, a reason to rejoice and revel."

His visor would shift to the bartender. "Tisane, for now." he would offer up some payment, before taking the chilled glass of fruit tea, waiting for the young man to speak.

Valeska Kryze strolled into gathering, trailed by Song Wren, her companion of only a standard week. The younger woman had not been to many Mandalorian gatherings of late, and Val had insisted she accompany her to one before they were off to Scipio on the mission that had brought them together in the first place. Val usually ducked these kinds of gatherings, afraid that her father might show and make things tense; but Clan Solus were not in the elder Kryze's pocket like so many others, so she felt safe among them.

They had apparently arrived just as everyone was beginning to show up. She spotted a few faces she was vaguely familiar with, and others she did not know at all. One of the vaguely familiar faces mentioned birth just as she was passing by and, though she had yet to drink anything, she could not resist a retort.

"Speaking as a member of the fairer sex," Val said, sinking into a seat clear across the bar from him, "I can assure you there is nothing about the birthing process that is ‘blessed’ by the gods. It’s a grueling, sweaty, messy endeavor you men never seem to fully appreciate."

She glanced in the direction the bartender, adding, “Ale.

And, a moment later, she had a whole bottle of it. She poured a glass for herself, and one for Song, and shoved hers into her mouth before she could say something else that might get her in trouble. Gods knew someone would be before this party was over—that’s just how Mandalorians liked to operate. @Feng Mian @Rhogar @Wit @Logan @Orbit

You tell ‘em,” said Song, clutching the largest empty glass she could find, before she slid into the open seat beside the Kryze. She muttered under her breath, “Nine months of carrying and he calls it a blessing from the gods. Well, you can bless my sorry—” The words died in her throat as Valeska poured her a hefty drink of ale. “Ah,” she said. “Thank you.

Drinking was a necessity at gatherings like these. Song had experienced enough of them back on Krownest from what grand feasts her father would host in the Steel Court, where men and women downed their weight in spotchka before breaking out into fighting. Something to numb the inevitable headache from today’s festivities might do her some good.

Of course, it would be no fault of Clan Solus. She had the utmost respect for their traditions, and it was the only reason she accepted Valeska’s invitation in the first place. Wren needed allies, and they made perfect candidates.

Song had not come, unlike the Kryze, to drink herself into a stupor and wait for a brawl to join. She’d come bearing gifts, between lacquer boxes and toys carved from pine, so the newborn might enjoy some taste of childhood before they were thrust into the blazing furnace that was the Mandalorian Way.

Song had also come to make a few friends beyond Kanan, or so she hoped. As long as Valeska did not cause a scene, and she knew how likely that was.

Nox's handshake was met vigorously by Kaisa, her head nodding in greetings to her brother. It is always nice to see you, Nox. She chuckled when Nox mentioned Reshii staying out of trouble. There was no such thing as a good Solus staying out of trouble. It was just in their nature.

Leaving her clanmates for now, Kaisa headed over towards the alcohol and caught the tail end of a conversation between three people sitting at the bar.

Leave it to the man to spout off at the mouth despite knowing fuck all about what he's talking. Kaisa said idly to Song and Valeska before bellying up to the bar near them. Turning her attention to the barkeep, Kaisa gave him a nod before giving her request. Ne'tra gal. Big as you got.

It didn't take long for the bartender to slide a large, frosted mug of a dark black beer towards Kaisa. She returned the favor by flipping him a credit chit. She always tipped more than she should, it was just her thing.

Reaching up, Kaisa gripped her helmet and removed it, her long black hair falling neatly despite having been stuffed up inside for so long. The air felt strange on her skin, it had been some time since she had removed any part of her beskar'gam. Putting her helmet on bartop for now, Kaisa took her mug and drank from it voraciously, the thick, milky stout both giving her a sense of calm and filling her belly.

Name's Kaisa Solus. From which clan do you two come from? Kaisa asked, looking at Song and Valeska.

She had no interest in the man.

Reshi, drink in one hand, straw in another, was in a little bit of a predicament when Kaisa showed up. She knew some of the clan had a hard-on for the old ways, and she assumed they would want her to keep her helmet on. Normally she would be alright with that, but they were all family here, and she had really wanted to just have some fun. To get drunk for once.

She raised the mug in greeting to Kaisa, and was still mulling over the dilemma when her fellow Solus wandered off towards the bar. Reshi gave up and tossed the straw away at Wolf's question, what was life without a little danger after all. "Oh I try," she began, but before she could say more she spotted someone in the crowd and grabbed Wolf's arm and began dragging him along after Kaisa, "can't say the same for you if she spots you though." She jerked her head back to point someone out to Wolf, someone walking in armor very similar to Reshi's. Her sister was here, and Reshi did not want to risk another shootout just yet. She hoped Wolf would not object as she dragged them over to Kaisa and the two she was speaking with.

"Hi, Hi!" She said a little too eagerly as she arrived at the bar, just as Kaisa took off her helmet to begin drinking. "Finally!" She exclaimed excitedly, all worries about her sister spotted Wolf momentarily forgotten as she slammed her mug of ale onto the bar counter and proceeded to remove her helmet as well, before downing the drink in one impressive tip of the head. She smiled as she wiped her mouth on her sleeve, and gestured to the bartender for another. "I'm Reshi," she introduced herself to the duo Kaisa had been speaking to, and noticed the jetpacks both wore, "say, those jetpacks are pretty shiny!" She leaned in closer, putting on her most charming smile, or at least what she thought was her most charming smile. "Wanna trade? A tour of these great Solus lands, a nice dinner, anything you want. Maybe a date with dear Wolf here?" She'd remember Wolf and his sister then, and quickly pull back and start scanning their vicinity to locate both. A Solus did not fear much, but her sister trying to exact vengeance after a few drinks in her? That she did fear.

"Kryze," Val replied, conveniently leaving out that her father would probably dispute that, given that she was a bastard and all. She left Song to introduce herself.

Admittedly, Val had few dealings with Clan Solus. She had heard of them, their history, the tales sung of their ancestors, but this was the first time she had met one in the flesh. As to the other two, she knew enough to recognize them. She had met them on Mandalore, and Concord Dawn after that. Yet she still didn't know their clans, nor what their ultimate motive was in trying to rally so many of the old clans together again.

The whole thing reeked of politics. Val hated politics.

So, she sought to talk about anything else. She glanced around the room, searching for purchase on something, anything that would take their conversation away from the two men and onto something more... pleasant. And then, mercifully, the one calling herself Reshi appeared and Val had her distraction.

"I'm Val," she said, glancing between the two women. "And you're more likely to convince me to date one of you than scruffy over there. Though, he is somewhat of a looker, I'll give you that." Her mouth curved up in a sly smile. Pinned between three beautiful women was not the worst way to spend a gathering, all things considered. "Besides, I'm much more interested to learn how a clan like Solus got stuck all the way out here on Lothal. Kinda far from the Mandalore sector, isn't it? Or is farming all the rage these days?" @Feng Mian @Wit @Logan

A new Badger.

It was a momentous occasion for his people. Slowly, over the centuries, his clan had been whittled into nothing along with the rest of his people. Concerted efforts to eradicate the children of Mandalore by empires past had reduced them into a shadow of what they once were, but every attempt to destroy his people over the eras ended similarly - in failure. Being impossible to keep down was a defining trait of the Mandalorians. The Sith had once sought to keep them shackled and enslaved millennia ago, only to give birth to one of the greatest conquering forces the galaxy had seen, and his clan was at the forefront of that glory. The history of clan Solus was a proud one, and he would never turn down an opportunity to be among kith and kin.

The birth of a new Mandalorian was a grand event. As with every Mandalorian gathering, there would be alcohol, fighting, and celebrations aplenty. Such times were a reunion for a nomadic people, and even hated rivals would attend and find good company among the blessed people of Kad Ha'rangir.

Cyrus made his way to Lothal as soon as he got the news and set his ship down quite out of the way. Opting to travel light with only his beskads and pistols, the Morellian flew via jetpack to the site of the gathering, using the sounds of merriment as his guiding beacon. With practiced skill, he swooped up above the crowd and quickly lowered himself into a clear spot, immediately embracing others bearing the sigil of Solus on their armor. Introductions and congratulations were shared among all, and Cyrus quickly found himself desiring a stiff drink now that he was among his comrades.

The air itself seemed to thrum with excitement as Cyrus made his way through the crowd. Soil-brown eyes darted to and fro, scanning the helmets and faces of those gathered in search of familiar sights. He tugged his helmet off as he walked and cradled it in one of his arms, using his free hand to massage his face. There were many of late who followed the more rigid dogma of the Way, and he knew that revealing his face would earn him some scorn - not that he cared. He was among his people, and wearing a helmet would make it a hell of a lot harder to drink.

Cyrus made his way to the bar and roughly set his helmet onto the countertop, leaning forward and over the bar the minute its tender had turned away to grab a bottle of something that had been left idle for more than a second, claiming it as his own. His eyes settled on the armor of the other Solus Mandalorians near him and he lifted his newly-acquired drink in cheers to them. "Hail, vod," he toasted, dipping his head towards the gaggle before taking a long sip. His eyes settled on the Wren and Kryze and he offered them a curt, silent nod.

Kell Rook was only two thirds of his name. Rook was the name of his apparent birth father and Kell was just the name that was given to him by his foster mother. Kell was a born Vizsla, and wore his Clan colors with pride along with the Death Watch symbols adorned to his blue shoulder and chest beskar plates in yellow. But, as far as anyone else was concerned, he was just Kell Rook. Not Kell Vizsla. He didn’t think he was ready or honorable enough to take that name- especially after his poor performance in the recent Huttball match.

He watched the others still clad in his suit, and held his EE-3 readily just in case. He was just out on patrol, making sure no one stupid tried anything that would result in several blaster bolts to the head. Kell also wasn’t sure he wanted to show his face just yet, he was heavily embarrassed with how he represented the Mandalorian’ sun the Huttball game and regretted joining in on it. So patrolling gave him the solitude and time to reflect on himself, his heritage, and his place as a fellow Mandalorian.

He watched patiently from his perch on a tall rock spire, and kept an eye out for trouble. Maybe then he could redeem himself to his people.

Song restrained a scowl. One glance at Valeska and she could already tell the Kryze was eying both women the way she might a slice of smoked venison. Shameless, she thought. A pint of ale and she’s already pining over complete strangers. Who knew what else the Mandalorian might say or do once she drank the rest of the bottle? If she was left to guess, it was nothing good.

Wren,” she introduced to the others. “Song Wren.

In order not to offend strict adherents to the Way, she already had a drinking apparatus installed into the base of her helmet, but upon Kaisa and Reshi removing theirs, Song was quick to do the same. She was grateful for it. So, planting the helmet onto the bar with a heavy thud, she revealed the face underneath, between tangles of dark hair that fell past her shoulders and a practiced smile.

A pleasure.” Song nodded politely. “Please, excuse my friend here. She has this very rare condition where she opens her mouth and shit comes out.

It was partially true. Since they met in that hideous bar on Taris, Valeska had been a bright thorn in her side, an alcoholic that never quite understood the definition of self-control. But, for all of the Mandalorian’s faults, she was a talented sharpshooter and always made for eventful company. She had a distant feeling the rest of Clan Solus would agree.

Almost all. Beyond the newcomers, Song caught another mysterious Solus resting against the bar, a shiny rope of scar tissue on his right cheek. She locked eyes with him and nodded in return. This should prove to be an interesting party, she thought.

Don't give me any ideas, Kaisa said playfully to Val's comment about being more likely to go out with one of the girls than gruff old Nox. Not sure a Kryze could handle a Solus, though. This time it was less playful and more.. seductively daring - a thin, coy smile creasing Kaisa's lips as she said it.

Turning back to her drink, Kaisa finished what was left before motioning to the barkeep to bring her another. At this rate, and with the size of the mugs here, the young Solus was going to be fist-fightingly drunk in no time flat. Not like that was going to keep the booze from flowing, though.

When Cyrus arrived, Kaisa returned his greeting with one of her own, happy to see the grizzled old fart was still around and kicking. She didn't know much about him personally, but she figured every new sunrise he saw was probably a gift from Kad. A small part of Kaisa hoped she died an honorable death before her face aged into a weathered bantha asshole like Cyrus'.

Prying eyes don't look for Mandalorians on places like Lothal. Kaisa said after a moment, turning her attention back to Val. No one cares who comes and goes here. Plus, the weather's usually pretty good.

Her refilled mug finally making its triumphant return, Kaisa gripped it and downed a third of it in one go. Not the most impressive act of chuggery - especially by Mandalorian standards - but ne'tra gal was thick and Kaisa wasn't looking to pass the fuck out right just yet.

Kaisa's eyes would find themselves wandering back to Val and hanging on the spots in her visor where her eyes would be, before the young Solus would realize what she was doing and hurriedly avert her gaze, turning back to her drink and to Nox and Reshi.

Kaisa greeted him back before departing from the table, leaving him alone with Reshii and he knew how that usually turned out. Nox mentioned that he hoped she stayed out of trouble and the next thing he knew, she grabbed on his arm and most likely led him to exactly that. He managed to catch her words that he was the one who was actually in trouble if she spotted him and he recognized immediately who Reshii was speaking of. The Mando didn't resist too much when he was led to the bar after, regrouping with Kaisa and meeting two new Mandalorians.

Before he knew it, Reshii was offering a night with him to the other Mandos to trade in order to get her own jetpack. Nox slowly just tilted his helmet in order to give her a helmeted glare before returning his gaze back to Song and Val. "Pleased to meet you both as well. Name's Nox." Before, he would have been uncomfortable with how many Mandalorians were removing their helmet, still a follower of the old sect. But his experiences with Cyrus had opened his mind slightly and he was more accepting of the new trends that were happening. Nox still wouldn't remove his helmet and he would most likely be a slow migrator from the old ways or never leave from it, but he introduced his real name from now on, at least with fellow Mandalorians.

Val commented about his scruffy appearance but that he was a looker and he only gave her a quick cock of his head, silently saying, Don't knock it until you try it.

When Song talked about her friend, Nox couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle, "Not needed, our friend has the same condition too. We believe it can't be helped." He offered another glance to Reshii and it was unfortunate she wasn't able to see the grin plastered underneath his helmet. "If you discover a cure though, let us know." He murmured back to Song before turning his attention to Kaisa and Val.

The Solus explained the reasoning of their camp on Lothal for the moment but Nox couldn't help but add into the conversation as he caught Kaisa's quick turn away, "It probably is a funny sight for Solus to be on Lothal, given our history. Especially with Clan Kyrze being quite known for their proficient use of farm equipment as well." Nox gave a quick shrug of his shoulders towards Val, her clan's pacificism streak not a secret. "We make do." Neither clan is what they once were long ago but that would change in time. The night was already beginning to turn interesting and the party really hadn't even started yet.

Srucayr would bite back a dry laugh. "You can't be celebrating a birth in action then claim its not a blessing." Oh the silliness of youth. He was more so entertained by the focus on gender given it wasn't a big deal in the Culture. "As a father, I consider each of my children a blessing but I'm no fool to discount the toll it takes on my wife. Just as I'm sure each of your parents considered you a blessing.. or, they'd be foolish not to." Hed say to the younger Mandalorians who had not yet experienced having children.

The aged Mandalorian would remove his winged helm and clip it to his belt, one hand gliding through his dreds to straighten them before tightening the leather strap that bound them together. He was half surprised Kryze and Laren didn't kick right off given their similar attitudes. He'd take his glass of tisane and rise from the bar, disturbed by the ease that some of them were throwing themselves about. "You lot enjoy this blessing to your Clan." He'd say before giving Laren's shoulder a squeeze and setting off to bring the gift he bore for the new parents.

He was sure to take note of Wren, for he was sure their paths would cross again during his visit to Krownest.

As he walked amongst the guests, he'd notice a form lingering off to the side, someone he had collected at the end of the Huttball match and he would cross over to Kell. "Whats your name, ad?" He asked, his gaze drifting to the Death Watch symbol.

Kell’s thoughts were broken off as the other Mando asked for him. “Hm? Oh, sorry, sir. My call sign is Arbalest.” He answered that question the same way every time someone asked. Yeah, these guys were other Mandalorians like him, but he wasn’t sure how they’d feel about him claiming to be of the Vizsla bloodline. He was. He just didn’t trust everyone’s potential reaction to that. It didn’t help that his confidence was shot either.

He returned his gaze to Lothal’s tall grass and thought about the stranger that offered him a job to do on a strange planet that he never heard of. Maybe then he could bring honor back to himself and his Clan. “Uh, no offense or anything, but I’m not worth your time. I’m here to protect what’s here. Cleaver is in orbit as we speak, ready to alert me if anything suspicious flies into our sector.” He commented. “So, go get a drink or something. I’ll be out here if ya need me.”

Oh, fuck it.

Val slid her own helmet off and set it gingerly on the bar next to her. It wasn't that she was religious. Anonymity just had its boons. But here it seemed rather pointless, and if Song was going to remove her own helmet, Val wasn't going to the only one sitting there, sticking out like a sore thumb. Besides, it was better this way. Now she could see Kaisa with her own two eyes.

"Hey, Lothal is better than Kalevara any day," she admitted, and not just because she wanted to agree with a pretty girl. Kalevara, her homeworld, was like some eldritch god had taken the worst of Tatooine and Quesh and shoved them together. And, of course, her people, Mandalorians that they were, saw its toxic wastes as real estate instead of a biohazard.

Song's people, the Wren, were much the same in their frozen igloos on Krownest. Clan Solus at least had the sense to seek out a temperate climate, or a planet that could sustain plant life that wouldn't give you radiation poisoning for ingesting it. Just the thought of home drove her to drink deeply from her ale.

"Anyways," Val continued, seeking the blessed solace of a change in subject, "now that we're all acquainted, whose kid is it? We don't have these sorts of baby showers on Kalevara, so whosever it is must be quite popular around here." @Logan @Feng Mian @Orbit

"No, of course it's a blessing, don't get me wrong. It's just hard seeing a family happy. Though-"

By then Srucayr had cut Laren off and began to speak of the blessings children were. Like Laren hadn't known. Before the younger Mandalorian could continue to speak Sru was off to speak with another Mandalorian brandishing the Death Watch's symbol. Laren had to admit it was a good reason to move along, but he was annoyed nonetheless. Taking a long swig of the Corellian whiskey in front of him, and then mumbling under his breath,

"Hey Laren don't be grumpy pants, bye!"

His face would be that of a sarcastic mimic of what Srucayr was saying. Don't worry a few more really long swigs and Laren wil be the same joyful guy he usually was, but for now he needed to drink to get back to that point.

"Hey tarbender! Bring me some more of this dandy brandy will ya?"

Shale wasn’t surprised to discover that she was the only Vizsla present. While Mandos had been scattered and detached, her clan had been especially reclusive. She arrived after the others, pausing at the doorway for a moment as she took in sight of multiple Mandalorians with their helmets off. She should have expected it, but the sight jarred her nevertheless. Her opinions on the matter were concealed behind the black T visor of her dented helmet, and she offered no words for it.

She strode in to join the party, feeling more at ease upon seeing more of her people around. Even if they weren’t her clan, they were all threaded together by shared foundations. Such gatherings were more important than ever to ensure their survival as a collective people.

Shale spotted few with their helmets on, but she knew the gathering was focused on Solus. The tall female walked over towards the helmeted Solus that had a few others gathered around him. She watched till he stood from where he sat. There were no words offered before Shale picked up her pace and abruptly slammed the front of her helmet into the man’s, hard enough to make him stagger back.

She drew back and held fast, a soft, slightly mechanized chuckle escaping her, “Wanted to see if Solus still have their balls.”

Shale stared in amusement towards the man from the house her people considered a rival. It wasn’t her style to sit and have polite chats. She slammed an armored fist on the table, “Barkeep! Two mugs of ale for me and the rat!” Her helmet subtly tilted down and then back up as she regarded the Solus, “I mean, the badger.”
