Cirilla Shan, known to her friends and acquaintances as Ciri, was a force-sensitive Alderaanian female who served as a Jedi Padawan during the Force Eternal era.

Born into near poverty, the Jedi Order found her when she was five. They took her in, and also provided jobs for her parents, and the entire family moved to Yavin, where they stayed till the planet fell to the Sith.

BIOGRAPHY

Born on her father's ship, Ciri spent the early years of her life in various spaceports across the Galaxy as her family lived off of what her father made as a courier. But the rise of the Independent Systems Corsortium, and the subsequent tumbling of the Republic economy, left them in near financial ruin. It was only luck that had their paths cross with a Jedi, who identified Ciri's latent strength with the Force and explained the possibilities that existed for her. Her parents, believing what they had seen in holodramas about the Jedi, thought that the Jedi wold take her away from them, only to be surprised to learn that the Jedi Order no longer operated like that. Not only did the Jedi offer to take Ciri to Yavin, he assured them they could stay as involved in her life as they wanted, offering them a home on Yavin and jobs with the Order if they so wanted.

So it was that Ciri and her family came to Yavin, where she began her training to be a Jedi. She would spend weekdays at the Temple, and visit her parents over weekends and holidays. She had a happy, mostly content life. When the Jedi reclaimed the Brigthhome, her parents were part of the civlian workforce that went to the spaceship to make it habitable for the Jedi, and opted to stay there, as it reminded her father of his old life as a spacer. It happened to be what kept them safe when the Sith attacked Yavin, and Ciri was part of the group that evacuated the planet after the Sith victory.

Ciri has the appropriate knowledge and skills expected of someone who has spent the past twelve years of her life training to be a Jedi. She can use the Force to an acceptable degree, knows her way around terminals and machines, and knows how to fight with or without a lightsaber. A jack of all trades, but a master of none.
