Clan Krodas (Personal Lore)

About

Clan Krodas’ origins can be found on Mandalore, dating back centuries. The clan colors are blue and silver to symbolize some of the members’ core values: loyalty, honor, and reliability. The vornskr skull became the clan’s signet when the first members of the clan managed to defeat the creature.

History

In the old days of Mandalore and still true to this day, those of Clan Krodas were proud warriors. They are trained to fight with honor starting from a young age, teaching their young to treat all adversaries with respect and passing down their values. They also instilled in their children that their beskar armor was considered a part of their identity. Members of the clan were never seen in public without it. They were also firm believers of the saying “Aliit ori'shya tal'din,” or in other words, family is more important than blood. Thus, they took in foundlings whenever they saw a child in need, and treated them as they would their own children.

In the past, Clan Krodas had participated in the Jedi-Mandalorian War. Being heavily involved in the war, they had sustained multiple losses by the end of the war, and as a result those in the clan have developed a strong distrust of Force-users, Jedi and Sith alike. Fast forward some time, and they were also involved in the Mandalorian Civil War, fighting on the side of the Old Mandalorians. Their intent was to preserve the traditional warrior ways of their people, though they held no animosity towards the opposing side. When they were defeated by the New Mandalorians, Clan Krodas retreated along with the other warrior clans to Concordia, eventually joining Death Watch. Here, one of the clan joined the elite unit of Nite Owls. The helmet forged in honor of this has been passed down, and is currently in the possession of @Zaia Krodas.

During the Purge, most of Clan Krodas stayed on Mandalore to combat the threat of the Empire. However, this resulted in another round of heavy losses for the clan, and the survivors were forced to scatter following the destruction of the planet. A small group was able to obtain a ship that essentially served as their home, allowing them to travel from planet to planet in order to survive. Occasionally, they stop at backwater planets to train the young. They are still roaming the galaxy to this day, searching for more of their own.
